Claiming your Power and Losing Control
When we dream big we open ourselves to the unlimited
potential that we all possess, to create different
avenues for our lives. That means claiming power over
the material world so that instead of being victims of
the past, we stand on the threshold of the future each
moment. That means accepting change, uncertainty
and walking in faith. It also means that we have to
relinquish control over our future. That may not make
sense, at a first glance. If we become more powerful
we should be in control, right? That depends on how
we define power and control.
Claiming our power means claiming our spiritual power,
reconnecting to the Source so that we learn how to
master the third dimension. This is where we can
create our reality, dream big and watch those dreams
unfold before us. But we have to give up control, which
is a product of the mind and ego, those things that limit
us to a reality that we can define, based on our beliefs
and perceptions. Remember that it is our beliefs and
perceptions, when we do not know how to control them
that end up controlling us, throwing us into fear and all
of the emotions that go along with it. Giving up control
means that we allow the Universe to bring the best,
most perfect opportunities to us, things that we often
would not imagine possible for ourselves, creating
miracles and incredible opportunities.
Last summer I shared with you that I wanted to go to
France, but I didn't have the money for the trip. I set
out my dream, to go to France for 2 weeks and in a
few days, had an offer to go on a tour, as a translator.
All of my expenses were paid and I was also paid for my
time on the trip. I would never have thought that this
was possible. In fact, I didn't even know that people
went on tours as translators and got to travel for free!
By giving up control over the details of the trip, it was
brought to me in a way that I would never have
considered. And I had a wonderful time. Had I tried to
control the outcome, it would potentially been
different, because I did not have the money to go on a
trip for two weeks. When I gave control over the
outcome to the Universe, I received a miracle.
As you have followed this series on how to dream big,
we have discussed how to dream big for the planet, for
others, what to do when the energy moves and we
have to face ourselves on our path and now, how to
claim our power and give control over how our dreams
will manifest to the Universe. Now it's your turn. Write
down how you want to dream big in your life-maybe
it's a trip or a vacation, maybe it's a new job,
relationship, a new home or to be happy and fulfilled.
Whatever it is, it's your dream and it's important;
because you want it, it is a possibility for your reality.
Write down what you want, read it out loud to yourself,
then tell the Universe that you are willing to give up
control. When we do that, we let the Universe know
that our free will won't stand in the way of whatever it
is going to bring us. Then sit back and watch the
results. Please write to me and let me know what

weeks. It's time, you've earned it, you deserve it, now
dream big and watch your dreams come true.

Are You Tough Enough?
During the past few days, the chorus of a song, 'are
you tough enough' has been running through my head.
It's not a challenge from the Universe, although going
through the Shift can make us wonder if we are 'tough
enough' for the changes that can happen, but a
message about what we believe and are influenced by
regarding 'toughness.' A glance at the entertainment
available today, especially on TV, makes us wonder if
being 'tough' is the key to success. Look at the reality
TV shows, where people prove their toughness by
eating bugs, gross concoctions and performing crazy
stunts. Or the crime shows, the bulk of the dramas on
the air today, where the 'tough' cops or private
investigators always win.
The danger in this emphasis on 'toughness' is in its
energetic outcome. All of this drama focuses on the
energy of the first three chakras and it not only
activates them, but makes them stronger. As we
progress through the Shift, we must learn to move our
energy from these lower level chakras to the heart
chakra, which is where we connect with our Source. As
we are fed increasingly greater doses of toughness, our
belief that we live in a dangerous world, where only the
fit, strong and daring survive gets stronger. That is
definitely a third dimensional belief because when we
increase our vibrations we move out of that 'tough guy'
mode and into a reality where only joy, unconditional
love and peace prevail. In the higher dimension,
toughness is not a requirement. In fact, it is one thing
that will keep us from moving our energy upwards.
We are now being called upon to exhibit a different kind
of 'toughness', one that doesn't involve displays of
physical strength. The Shift requires us to be tough in
our convictions, to trust and to walk in faith. It can be
hard to continue to believe that we are on the right
path when the results don't happen as quickly as we
would like. The energy shifts that are happening now
are so quick that events can change quite suddenly-
what we once thought was our path can take a turn in
another direction. So we have to be tough enough to
allow the changes to occur around us, to let people
leave our lives, to make the changes that we need to
make, allow the energy to move and to not be afraid.
When life gets 'tough' it is a sign to us that we are no
longer in the flow. We have been taught that when
things get 'tough' we need to really push ahead and go
through the blocks. Do you remember the saying 'when
the going gets tough, the tough get going'? The Shift is
teaching us that toughness, in any area of our lives,
means that we are out of synch with the Source.
Today's emphasis on toughness keeps our energy stuck
in the lower chakras, which is a natural human response
in the physical world. But this type of toughness is no
longer necessary. We can allow ourselves to learn to
give up the struggle, turn in our toughness for
surrender, let go of our fears and step into the flow,
where toughness doesn't count.

Uriel's Message
When you learn to co-create with the Universe you
allow yourselves to connect with that part of you that
is divine and perfect. And this allows you to be that
which you are, divine and perfect. In this way, the
Universe answers your faith by allowing you to be who
you are, to create the reality that you desire. The
universe never rejects you, at any point in time,
because you have not yet connected with who you
are, or have not reached that point where you can
express your full potential.
This process is reflected in your relationships with
others, your family, friends and partners. In each of
these relationships, you share a connection that allows
you to express yourself, and your full potential. But can
you allow others to be who they are, without judgment,
criticism or disappointment? Are you able to detach
from your own desires and expectations about what
you want the relationship to be and allow others to be
themselves?
When you connect with others you do so because you
have mutual points in common. Within every
relationship, however, there are areas where you
cannot connect. If these areas are significant enough,
you must decide whether you wish to continue the
relationships. Detaching from your expectations about
how you want others to be allows you the freedom to
be with others who reflect your highest potential. That
is when you step out of judgment and into grace, out
of criticism and into acceptance and out of drama and
into peace.
Each relationship in your life has a lesson for you and it
is with those people that you are closest to that you
can learn your greatest lessons. Remember that not
every opportunity presented to you is one that you
should take-sometimes opportunities are presented so
that you can assess whether they serve your highest
good. If they do not, then know that the other person
is being themselves and that may not resonate with
you. Neither of you is wrong because everything is in
its perfection at any given moment in time. You then
have the opportunity to focus on your intention for
yourself and allow those things that do not meet your
intention for your reality to be what they are, without
blame, criticism or judgment. As long as you continue
to focus on your intention, the Universe will bring you
want you desire and the people and situations that are
best suited for it. Be yourself and allow others to be
themselves as well and you will all live in a world where
joy and acceptance and therefore, peace, reign.

Today's Children-Adult Crystals and the Shift
The new article on today's children is now available on
the website. This month's article is about the truth
that these children are revealing to us about ourselves,
our lives and our world. This generation is known by
many names, including Indigo and Crystal Children, Star
Children, Light Children. Whatever name they are known
by, they are a generation that we have never seen
before and they have special needs, gifts and talents.
The Crystal and Indigo children represent the new,
higher energetic patterns that are arriving to change
the Earth's vibrational frequency.This new series
provides information on these children and the
wonderful gifts they bring to the world.
The Crystal Adults were born in the 1950s and 1960s.
They brought the energy of today's Crystal children to
the planet, preparing it for these wonderful children.
The Crystal adults are thoughtful, sensitive, highly
intuitive and very spiritual. Their energy does not blend
well with that of the third dimension and many of them
follow a path that keeps them out of the mainstream
because the energy is often difficult for them to
handle. While Indigo adults are rebels and action
oriented, Crystal adults are quite different. They are
move about more quietly, patiently and are not as
aggressive as Indigos, but are no less persistent. Many
Crystal adults are the ones who began the spiritual
movement in the 1970s and 1980s, writing about topics
that no one knew about or understood, but persisting in
their efforts, knowing that eventually others would
come around.
Adult Crystals are having problems in the Shift because
the energy is becoming so polarized that they feel
almost split in two, not knowing where to put their
energy. More than others, they feel the changing
energy, the energetic releases and the fear that many
people are going through at this time. Because they are
so empathic, they must work hard to not become part
of the craziness that many people are feeling at this
time. Many Crystal Adults write to me and tell me of
their struggles to find jobs that are meaningful and at
which they can earn a living. For Crystal Adults, the
corporate environment of the last ten years is too
challenging, so they seek other avenues of
employment. Because many have not yet found their
path, they struggle to feel positive about the avenues
of employment that they choose, in a society that
values material success above all else.
For Adult Crystals, the key to working with the Shift
energy is to focus on staying grounded and to not let
the chaos around them infringe on their energy. One of
their gifts is empathy, but that must be tempered with
a certain amount of detachment, or they can feel like
they are losing focus and literally 'floating' in a sort of
energetic limbo. Adult Crystals who have Crystal
children can work with their children, who will be very
aware of their uncertainty and who will be especially
affected if their parents are not grounded, and teach
their children how to handle the energetic shifts.
Crystal children are here to heal the energy of humans
and the planet once the Shift is completed. They have
much to teach us about healing and they have a
remarkable ability to stay focused on their gifts and
their true Self, even in the face of chaos. If you are an
Adult Crystal and feel the need to begin writing, doing
spiritual teaching or to engage in some sort of spiritual
learning, follow your intuition. Anything that draws your
attention and focus is something that you need at this
time and that will help you to allow the energy to flow
through and around you and not pick up on the fear.
Follow your intuition, be at peace and watch your
Crystal children and you will come through the Shift
stronger, more confident of your abilities and able to
express your gifts to help the Crystal children heal the
world.
