This month's
article is entitled Allowing, Recognizing and
Choosing Connection. Our path to connection is far more
than choosing to walk the spiritual path and allowing our
light to shine brightly. It is a process of integrating our
connection into our life journey, which a journey from human
to divine. This is our gift to Source
and we create it with every decision we make. Read about

triggered? Very quickly, as I found out this week, through a
serious car accident. What I learned and how it applies to
these last few days of 2009 is discussed in the second

we can accept the limitlessness that is our true state of

Decisions, Decisions
In our journey to reconnection we remove the veil between
the spiritual and material worlds. It is the final outcome of
our ascension path and the blending of heaven and earth, which
is our gift to Source. As we allow ourselves to be fully in
our power and to re-member the divinity we have long forgotten
is within us, we take a quantum leap forward into a new
consciousness. But this is not a permanent leap forward, it is
a back and forth process of decisions and choices, each one
affirming our reconnection.
Reconnection takes on new meaning when we realize that
the ascension of the third dimension is our gift to the
Universe. How do we accomplish this monumental task? Through
the choices that we make in every situation. The power of our
thoughts, expressed through our decisions, reveals our level
of spiritual growth and understanding at every moment. Every
decision is important as each one represents how we are using
our power. Are we embracing it and using it for our own growth
or are we giving it away to others?
Every decision is an act of power and the new
standard is 'are we pursuing our dreams and serving our
needs?' If not, then we are meeting someone else's.
While we all try to avoid being 'self-ish', one of our
greatest challenges is to put ourselves first, to make us the
priority in our life. As we enter a new paradigm, this will be
our focus and wherever we are not meeting our needs is an area
of lessons and growth. Every decision we make challenges us to
be centered and grounded in our own power so we can express
its highest aspects. We can't do that when we are giving our
power away.
We are becoming what we have always wanted to be,
powerful manifestors who are connected to our inner divinity.
This is a two-edged sword that will bless us with what we ask
for and reveal the imbalance between our power center and our
potential. Then we can make decisions that align our energy
with what we want to manifest. And it will all happen
simultaneously, as we move into Universal time. This week, pay
attention to the decisions you are making in every moment. Do
they flow with what you want to manifest? Are you giving your
power away? Be aware of where your decisions are taking you
and you will be on that path of manifestation that blesses you
with connection to your inner power and an abundance of your
heart's desire.

An Icy Lesson
This week I had an auto accident and
although I was unhurt, my car was badly damaged. One moment I
was driving down the freeway, and then I hit an icy patch that
sent my car spinning out of control. Luckily I was able to
steer away from the other cars on the highway and finally
ended up in a deep snowdrift and crashed against a concrete
barrier. While I was upset about the accident, I quickly
recognized the lesson that I was being shown, which was the
string of decisions I had made that put me on that icy road,
to attend an event I did not want to go to, in response to
someone's request and an obligation that I felt compelled to
meet because I had agreed to do something that I did not want
to do or have time for.
As I was sitting in my car waiting for the police and
tow truck to come, I saw the core karmic issue presented to me
in a way that I could not miss. Fifteen minutes before my
accident I thought about turning back because the road
conditions were so bad. But when I called to suggest that
alternative, the resistance I met with triggered an
interesting reaction - I went ahead anyway. After all, I was
not the only person driving and I had not passed any car
accidents. How bad could it be? I was going to find out.
The karmic activation process starts with something
simple like a request, favor, question or comment. How we
respond determines what happens next. A response as simple as
a 'sure, I'll do that' begins the string of events whose
purpose is to show us how the karmic cycle plays out in our
life. How do we know we are being triggered? A twinge of
regret, resentment, anger, a sudden desire to say 'no',
whispered messages from our guides that say 'caution' are all
warning signs that we are in 'activation mode' and this is a
time to choose our options carefully. This is a time to be
aware that we are in control and need to be aware of what is
happening.
Uriel reminded me that the final days of 2009 will be
powerful and the learning will continue until the final moment
of this year. It is so important that we release, remember our
power, discover every subtle way that we manipulate energy or
are manipulated by others. We have to constantly ask whether
we are doing what we want to do, is it right for us, can we
say 'no' and be secure in our power, no matter what others do
or think? That is our core issue and we all experience one of
its many variations in our struggle to be in our power. And
with each realization we are one step closer to knowing our
truth and finding a place for it in our life. Then we can have
karmic closure and be open to new possibilities to manifest
our life in new and powerful ways.

Uriel's Message -- Be
Open to Everything
It would be overwhelming for you to know the number of
options that are available for your life path, so your
awareness is limited to what you allow yourselves to be open
to. Even at your level of vibration, there is so much more
available to you, besides what you choose from. With each
shift in your energy, which follows each new level of
awareness, you expand your life path. This allows new options
to be present but this must be accompanied by a willingness to
allow them into your awareness. These represent change and new
pathways for you, which have their own challenges and
blessings.
The combination of a limitless spirit and a limiting
ego pulls you in different directions and change creates two
responses. From the ego you feel fear and many reasons to stay
with your current situation. Spirit responds quietly, without
judgment and hearing its voice requires courage, faith and
trust. The ego will want many details, including where the
change is taking you, what will happen, how it will feel and
so on. The ego is willing to accept change as long as it knows
where the change will lead. When you are open and within the
flow, your path is limitless and everything is an opportunity
and all are potential realities.
Are you open to change and the possibilities it
brings to you? To do so the voice of the soul, which is aware
of your limitless being, must be heard over that of the ego,
which finds comfort in its boundaries and limitations. Your
soul understands limitlessness and is not afraid of this
expression. The ego's awareness is limited to boundaries and
what it has already experienced. Anything beyond this it is
not open to.
In your humanity you have accepted limitation so that
you could learn to release it. Every expression of love, joy
and abundance you can know is small, compared to what is truly
possible for you at each new level of being. You participate
in your own limitlessness by being open to the possibility
that every path has unlimited potential, every choice has many
potentials and your path is only limited to the level you are
open to allowing spirit to guide you through its knowledge of
your limitlessness. Be open to everything and you will be
blessed beyond your imagining.

Dating is not a topic that is usually addressed but so
many of you have asked about the issue of younger men that I
thought it appropriate. And it is a topic that has gained
attention in recent years and has actually become acceptable.
Dating younger men seems to be a choice that many adult Indigo
and Crystal women have to make and there are certain beliefs
and judgments that they must deal with, the first is why are
these younger men attracted to them in the first place?
Many younger Indigo men (in their twenties and early
thirties) are attracted to women who are ten to twenty years
older because of a maturity factor. They do not resonate with
women their age and they need the emotional and intellectual
maturity an older woman brings. There is also an energetic
resonance that they are aware of and find hard to resist.
Although there may be a strong physical attraction, it is
actually the attraction on energetic and emotional levels that
is more compelling. And they can be quite persistent, even if
you are not interested.
Other beliefs and judgments have to do with what
others think, how to manage the age factor as we grow older
and whether it will last. These are valid questions which
speak to our fears and concerns, and instead of thinking
with our heart and soul, we are using our head and ego. One of
our challenges in relationships is to let go of our beliefs
and expectations and to be in the moment, appreciating what is
before us without questioning it. But, we say, there are
things to be considered and this aside, can we be in each
moment and allow it to unfold into the next?
We are fine with life path changes as long as they do
not make us uncomfortable. But as soon as we are challenged to
see ourselves in a new way and expand our view of our
potential, our resistance can be strong. The issue of dating a
younger man brings up many issues that we would rather not
consider but since it is happening, there are choices for us
to make. And one choice can be to be open to the potential,
enjoy the moment and to remember that we created this
situation, as we do all aspects of our reality and enjoy the
blessings and lessons it has for
us.
