Manifesting Life with Patience
One of the lessons that we must learn when we begin
manifesting is that of patience, to learn to work with
divine timing and to watch for the synchronicity that
appears when we least expect it. But because we often
undertake manifestation at that 'God, please help me'
moment, when change and results are absolutely and
immediately necessary, we panic when those results do
not appear to be immediately forthcoming and may not
see that our prayers are indeed, being answered, but
perhaps not in ways that do not seem to meet our
immediate need.
Of all of manifestation's requirements, patience is
probably the most important. Patience is a virtue, old
literature tells us and in today's world of eat on the
run, instant gratification and multi-tasking, it is a virtue
whose value no longer seems to fit in our lives. When
it comes to manifestation, however, it is very important
because while we may know what we want and
actually need it immediately, whether or not we can
have faith and trust that it will come to us is shown by
how patient we are. The Universe is not trying to deny
us what we deserve; it is merely ensuring that we are
aware of all of the conditions and extenuating
circumstances that surround our request. It is also
giving us time to reflect on whether what we have
asked for is really what we want. And it can, in some
ways, delay gratification so that we can understand
the sequence of events that has put us in the situation
that we are in. Once we achieve that degree of
enlightenment, we may find that we no longer want
what we originally wanted to manifest.
Developing patience allows us to explore many options
and to learn how to gain control over our lives. But it is
not necessary for us to wait until the zero hour to
begin manifesting; in fact, it is easier if we don't (and
requires less patience!). We start that process when
we are grateful for what we have, at each moment,
even if it is not working for us. For example, we can be
grateful for a job or relationship in which we are
surrounded by people who respect and honor us. If that
is not our present circumstance, we are creating the
energy to manifest the change. This starts the
manifestation process long before the situation
becomes critical. And with divine timing and
synchronicity the Universe always brings us what is in
our Highest Good.
Instant gratification is not always available to us on
demand when we work with manifestation. When we
manifest at the time of our immediate need, we are
working in fear and this causes us to lose sight of the
bigger picture so that we may not be aware of the
progress that is occurring. That is a cue to slow down,
breathe, renew our faith and trust and remember that
life is a flow. And so we have to wait patiently. But
even that can be an illusion because sometimes our
manifestation arrives in stages and if we are not paying
attention we can miss the fact that we are indeed
receiving what we asked for, even if it doesn't exactly
meet our specifications. The Universe always works
with us when we manifest, as long as we are patient
and have faith that our needs are always met in the
best, most wonderful way possible.

The Forbidden Fruit
Most people are familiar with the biblical story of Adam
and Eve-they were told not to eat of the forbidden
fruit and Eve tempted Adam with it and they both ate
it, despite the warnings. They were expelled from the
Garden of Eden and the rest is history. Whether you
believe this story or not, it has a powerful message for
us, that when we do something 'wrong' or which is
forbidden, we pay a severe penalty for our
transgression. And because most of us learned this
story when we were children, it can have a strong
impact on our lives that is even more detrimental
because it was made part of our basic belief systems
and creates the paradigm through which we experience
life.
What is forbidden to you in your life? If you ask yourself
that question, what you uncover might surprise you. Is
it forbidden to try new things, to be happy, to be
successful or more than moderately wealthy? Is it
forbidden to challenge your family's belief systems or
their expectations of you, or to follow a path that
is 'different' or not of their choosing? Is it forbidden to
marry someone from a different race, culture or even
someone of the same gender? Is the forbidden based
on painful past experiences? If you do try
the 'forbidden' what do you think will happen to you?
When you begin to explore the forbidden, you may find
that not only are many experiences that are forbidden
for you, but that much of what you consider 'forbidden'
is not even of your own choosing and that you have
adopted these beliefs from your family, your gender
group, culture and society at large.
Most of what is considered to be forbidden is lumped
together and that includes things that are illegal,
immoral or out of integrity. And if we are to live in an
ordered society, there are certain acts that must be
forbidden to protect us harm and from others, to a
certain degree. But much of what is forbidden has been
created to maintain the status quo and to create a
standard of normalcy so that everyone behaves way.
This expected standard of behavior can begin within
the family unit and extend into societies and cultures.
It is up to us to practice a degree of discernment with
the 'forbidden' so that we do not assume that
everything that is considered to be forbidden, within
the framework of our experience, is right for us and
learn to make our own choices.
As we move through the Shift in Consciousness and so
much of our lives is in the process of changing, we are
learning to face our fears and to move past them. Many
of our fears on based on what we believe is forbidden
to us. This week, look at what you consider to be
the 'forbidden fruit' in your life. Is this belief of your
own making, is it something that you learned during the
course of your life, is it based on past experiences or
part of your society's norms? If it was once true for
you, is it still true? It is now time to examine each area
of our lives and to live in total integrity, which means
living life within parameters that we are comfortable
and happy with, including that which may have been,
at some point in time, forbidden fruit. Learn to explore
these beliefs because once you know their source and
true meaning, you can be free of them so that the
forbidden can become a possibility that may open new
doors to abundance and joy.

Uriel's Message
As you learn to connect with your Source, which allows
you to dissolve the separation between the spiritual
and material, you will notice that it becomes
increasingly difficult to live within the confines of
separation. But separation exists everywhere in your
world and it is often the way in which you define
yourselves and your place in society. This concept of
separation exists within humanity, between humans and
nature, between humans and the Earth, the material
and the spiritual and even between you and the rest of
the Universe. Do you, for example, believe that humans
are the only life form in the Universe? Would you
acknowledge the validity of other life forms even
though they did not look like you?
The existence of separation is most evident in your
language. Look at how you define each other-
black/white, gay/straight, mean/nice, rich/poor,
beautiful/ugly, good/bad--your environment and your
life. These words have a profound effect on how you
view those around you and they are, in effect,
judgments that create separation. These
separations contribute to and are even responsible for
the problems that plague humanity today. If there were
no judgments about others, would there be war? If you
could see each other as one, connected, each
emanating from a singular Source, you could not dwell
on your differences because you would not be aware of
them. Learning to see past your differences and to end
the judgments with which you define each other is
another lesson of the Shift and once it is part of
humanity's reality, you can all live in the unconditional
love and peace that is your birthright.
But first you must heal yourselves of the existence of
separation in the way that you think, speak about and
describe others and even the other forms of life on this
planet. Each of them comes from the same source and
all are connected to each other and to you. If you
want proof of the 'sameness' in this world, it is all
around you. Know that all humans, no matter what
their gender, color or culture, cry when they are sad,
know fear, feel pain when they are hurt and laugh when
they are happy. Animals also know pain, fear and joy;
flowers that bloom during the day have a period of rest
at night, just like you. Even the percentages of the
Earth's elemental composition are close to those of the
human body.
If you are beginning to feel the energetic shifts and
wonder whether critical mass is approaching, know that
it is here. The Shift is happening now and one of
humanity's greatest challenges is to remove the belief
in separation that it lives under, to cease the
judgments and to learn to live in harmony and in
celebration of its connection, instead of the discord
that exists when the focus is on separation. As you go
through this week, focus on the 'sameness' of others,
even those who represent challenges in your lives. See
past the gender, color, beliefs, behavior and culture
and know that each of them, like you, contains a spark
of the Universe and is a light being, with the same
potential for unconditional love and joy that you have.
Bless those who are challenging and send them light.
Remember, too, to send light to the planet, to all of its
creatures and to remember that you are all connected,
all having a similar experience and are all making your
way 'home,' to the Source that you all emanate from.

Today's Children--and the New Concept of Work
The new article on today's children is now available on
the website. This month's article is about the adult
indigo and crystal energy.
This generation is known by many names,
including Indigo and Crystal Children, Star Children,
Light Children. Whatever name they are
known by, they are a generation that we have never
seen before and they have special needs, gifts and
talents. The Crystal and Indigo children represent the
new, higher energetic patterns that are arriving to
change the Earth's vibrational frequency.This new
series provides information on these children and the
wonderful gifts they bring to the world.
Many of the early-born Indigo children are entering the
work force and they are doing so with a vengeance.
They have, according to many human resource experts,
no work ethic, no respect for the 'way that things are
done' and little regard for accepted rules of behavior.
For those of us who understand this energy it is not
surprising. But for others, especially those who try to
enforce the 'old procedures' it is a challenge. Crystal
children have not yet entered the work force but they
will begin to in the next ten years or so and that
environment, thanks to efforts of the Indigos, will look
much different than it does today. The Crystal children
will need gentler, more creative and less structured
work situations where they can be free to work with
their talents and gifts and incorporate a spiritual
component within that environment.
The Indigos came to break the old systems, which is
why they can be so stubborn, difficult and even
revolutionary in their beliefs and in how they implement
them. The problems that they have had in the school
systems will follow them into the work world. But while
they were somewhat powerless in the school system,
they are now adults and they have more control over
the results of their efforts. And, rather than try to 'fit'
into the traditional work world, they have embraced the
concept of entrepreneurship in large numbers. It is not
unusual for many Indigos to have an interest in starting
a business and where entrepreneurship once began in
college or later in life, there are now many young
children who have their own businesses, some that are
quite successful.
Some of these businesses address situations in society
that they find appalling. Consider, for example, the
young girl who, after discovering that foster children
carry their belongings in large, black garbage bags,
started a drive to provide each foster child with a
suitcase and a teddy bear. Thousands of foster children
have benefited from her efforts and her sponsors
include many large corporations and people who donate
thousands of suitcases to her every year. She started
this effort before she was a teenager. This is a
wonderful example of the Indigo energy and there are
more and more examples of the work that these Indigo
children are doing on behalf of others and is how they
are working to change inefficient and ineffective social
systems.
These children know that sometimes the best way to
break a system is to create a new system, one that
they can thrive in. If you are the parent of an Indigo
child who shows a great interest in a social cause, or
who is a budding entrepreneur, do as much as you can
to help them along. Remember that you can't always
tell them what to do, but you can guide them along the
way and point them to resources that can inspire and
educate them. Many Crystal children, who are still
rather young, will be the next generation of healers
and teachers. As they begin to show an interest in
these areas, encourage them and give them
opportunities to develop their skills. They will be doing
their own work at fairly early ages and they need the
confirmation of their abilities. Don't be afraid to take
them with you to spiritual gatherings, if they show an
interest. They need the exposure to spirituality and
need to learn about the existing spiritual foundation
that they will later build upon. With both the Indigo
and Crystal energy, it is important that we, as a
spiritual community, support them as best we can.
They are the generation who will be responsible for
creating the new social paradigms and we need to give
them as much knowledge as we can in preparation for
that task.
