This week's messages
Accepting our Mistakes
What would your life be like if you had not made so many
mistakes? Would you be divorced now if you had married another
person? Would you be making more money if you had chosen a different
career path? Would you be happier if you had chosen to live
elsewhere? Do you see many of your past decisions as mistakes
because you find yourself at a far different place in your life than
you thought you would be at this time? Accepting our mistakes is
part of the journey of learning acceptance and in doing so, we come
to realize that we never make mistakes.
We never do anything wrong, we just make decisions, at certain
times, that have certain results. Sometimes those results bring us
joy, sometimes they bring us pain. Each decision that we make at any
point in time is the best decision that we can make at that time and
also reflects a lesson that we must learn. Judging the wisdom of our
choices once we learn their results, thus regretting the past, is
like being able to pick the lottery numbers after we know what they
will be. If we could do that, everyone would be a lottery
millionaire. Of course, there are times when we know that we are
probably not making the best decision in the situation but we often
feel powerless to do anything else. That is not a mistake, just a
decision or a choice made through the lens of our fears. But it's
not a mistake.
Judging the past from the standpoint of the knowledge and
experience that we have today will only bring us pain. Each of us
would have made different choices if we could have known what their
outcome would be. But then we would not learn anything. Every
mistake has a lesson for us that we acknowledge when we do something
differently the next time we are faced with a similar situation. If
we repeat mistakes then we have additional opportunities to learn
and to grow spiritually. But if we hound ourselves about the
mistakes we have made and feel miserable because we made them, we're
only hurting ourselves and blocking the learning and joy that we
could be enjoying.
This week, consider the things that you have done in your life
that you believe to be mistakes. What did you learn and how much
wiser, stronger and more aware are you because of those choices? Did
they bring you any blessings even though the experience may have
been painful? What can you do differently today? Forgive yourself
for those choices which you call mistakes and remember that they are
just choices that you made, at a certain point in time, when you
thought that you were choosing the best alternative. Accept and let
go of your mistakes and see them as what they are, decisions made
from a certain mindset. Take comfort in the fact that every day you
have a chance to do things differently, to make different choices
and to create joy and abundance in your life. And remember that
nothing is ever a mistake.

The November article is posted on the Uriel Heals website
and this month's message is about Acceptance. How do we accept
our mistakes? Can we learn to see mistakes as something else
and get past the regret and pain? This week's article looks at
mistakes and what they really are. This week's Today's
Children article discusses the bridge generation, those who
are both Indigo and Crystal. Uriel's message this week says '
Relax'. This is also Thanksgiving week in the U.S. and I thank

Forcing the Issues
I know that there is a reason that I was born under the sign
of Aries. If there is something that can be done, I'll get it
done. If there is a way to make things happen, I will do it,
no matter what stands in my way. This makes me highly
efficient and effective. My drive and focus help me to get
things done but they also lead me into situations where my
ability to force issues to my desired conclusion creates
lessons in learning when to leave things alone. I have
discovered, over time, that there is a time to force the issue
and a time to just sit back and see what happens next. Knowing
how to choose between the two takes faith and trust and a
willingness to listen to our intuition.
When we force the issue we are operating at an ego level
and then fear becomes our motivator. If we don't get that
relationship, that job, get that thing done, something bad
will happen to us or we will fail or be unworthy. Or,
something else may not come along so we must hang on to what
we have at any cost. And we are often given signs from our
guides and angels that we need to just leave certain
situations alone or walk away. But when we are in the mindset
that we have to accomplish that particular thing, at any cost,
we see everything that stands in our way as an obstacle and
don't or can't take the time to consider that it may be a
blessing in disguise. Often the fact that nothing is working
is a sign to us that this is an experience that we can do
without.
If we see every challenge as a test of our abilities, we
will force the issue to get the outcome that we expect. It has
been my experience that when I forced an outcome, I later
regretted my actions. And when obstacles appeared and I pushed
against them, eventually removing them, I later learned that
the obstacles were intended to stop me from continuing along
that path, not to test my ability to get things done. Forcing
the issue also applies to staying far longer in a situation
than I needed to, hoping that it would work out at some point
in the future. It is hard to let go when we equate that action
with defeat. Perhaps we need to change our definition of
defeat and acknowledge that sometimes it means knowing our
boundaries when it comes to pain, heartache and sorrow.
How do we know when to not force an issue? For me, I know
that the times when I am compelled to rush forward are an
indicator that I need to take a big step back, pause and
consider what I am doing and why. What do I gain if I force
the issue and what do I lose? Do I just want to win or is this
really important to me and worth the investment of my time,
energy and emotions? And, what are the obstacles trying to
tell me? I have learned to trust my intuition when it whispers
'slow down' and know that I am being given an opportunity to
choose a less painful and difficult path. Learning our own
boundaries is another step on our journey in spiritual
consciousness and choosing love over pain, happiness over
sadness and defeat over success at any cost is part of that
process. If you feel that you are forcing the issue in a
situation, listen to your intuition if it tells you to slow
down, consider what you are doing and why. Then take the path
that will bring you the most joy, instead of forcing the
issue.

Uriel's Message--Relax
Many of you are preparing for great change in your life. You
know it, you can feel it, you have been preparing for it and
yet the actual events seem to come together very slowly.
Relax, there is no way for you to rush this part of the
journey. At times it may seem that the pieces of your life are
being put together in reverse order but know that they are
not. Each thing happens in exactly the proper order. You can
feel the energetic changes on an emotional level which is why
you alternately feel joy and sadness, elation and fear.
Perhaps the next part of your life will be more joyful, more
abundance, more satisfying. It will reflect the spiritual
growth that you have achieved during this part of the Shift.
If you worry, instead, that things are not occurring in the
proper order, you will delay the final outcome. Your task
during this process is to relax and enjoy the moment.
Imagine that you are attending a symphony concert. The
conductor is standing at the podium but there are no
musicians, only instruments lying on the chairs. As the
concert begins, the conductor runs to each chair, playing a
note on each instrument. The result is not what you expected,
there is no flow or harmony to the music and you wonder what
the conductor is doing. It seems unlikely that this would
happen but this is what each of you does when you try to
manage the flow of your lives. Whether it is through fear,
impatience or doubt, when you try to control the flow of
energy you disrupt the harmony of the flow of creation.
You are in control of your reality and must work with the
energy to manifest but in the same capacity as a symphony
conductor who directs the musicians in an orchestra. Remember
that the journey is where you gain your greatest knowledge and
joy; the destination is simply the end of that particular
journey. You will know when it is right for you to act and
when it is time for you to be patient. If you feel that you
are not doing enough or that things are not moving quickly
enough, you are hearing the fear and doubt of the ego. Perhaps
patience is part of your lesson. What is the importance of a
moment or a day, month or year, when you are eternal?
So relax, enjoy the moment, take joy in watching your
creation become reality. Be patient for you are manifestors
and creators and your word is law in the Universe. Trust that
you are always in the flow and remember that the Universe and
creation work within Divine timing, not according to your
expectations. Uncovering your doubts and fears are part of the
creation process; they come to you so that you can know and
understand them. Then let them go. All that comes to you is
for your Highest Good. So relax, enjoy the journey, revel in
the beauty of each moment and each experience. Remember that
you are always doing the right thing, at the right time and
when it is appropriate for you to know the next step, it will
be revealed to you. It takes faith to trust in unseen actions
of the unseen spiritual world, just as it takes faith to know
that it is working on your behalf. As you relax and enjoy the
moment you reaffirm your trust in a benevolent, loving and
abundant Universe and you release yourselves from the fear
that blocks the flow of manifestation.

The Bridge Generations
There is a new generation of children in the world and they
are known by many names, including Indigo and Crystal
Children, Star Children, Light Children. Whatever name they
are known by, they are a generation that we have never seen
before and they have special needs, gifts and talents. The
Crystal and Indigo children represent the new, higher
energetic patterns that are arriving to change the Earth's
vibrational frequency. This new series provides information on
these children and the wonderful gifts they bring to the
world. Along with their special gifts and talents, they also
have certain needs and the purpose of this series is to help
them and their parents find solutions to these needs so that
Indigos and Crystals can do the work that they came here to
do.
We have been hearing much about Indigos and Crystals, their
characteristics, their skills and talents and their mission in
the context of the Shift in Consciousness. Indigos, we are
told, have come to change the world and Crystals are here to
work with the new energy. And what we are seeing are children
who fall into those categories and others who are in between,
who have both Indigo and Crystal characteristics and who are a
little of both energies but who are not fully either Crystal
or Indigo. These children are what I call the 'bridge
generation,' those who have come to fulfill very specific
tasks to be accomplished within certain social, political and
economic groups and to do that they need to draw on the
attributes of both energies. It also makes them hard to define
and understand because they are often a study in opposites.
And they have been around for a while-many of the adult Indigo
and Crystals are also part of the bridge generation.
Being part of the 'bridge generation' can be difficult
because we all want to be able to define who we are and find
reasons for why we think, believe and act as we do. These
individuals are controversial as they truly defy simple
definition. They can have the creative genius of the Indigo
with the single-mindedness of the Crystal. Others can have the
rebellious spirit of the Indigo and yet be as intuitive and
knowing as a Crystal. Still others can act like an Indigo one
day and a Crystal the next, feeling as internally confused and
disoriented as their external behavior. Parenting one of these
children is as difficult as it is to have these
characteristics. What can we do for these children and if this
describes you, how do you deal with what you are thinking and
feeling?
I believe that it is important that we not set criteria for
expected Indigo and Crystal behavior, thinking that everyone
who has this energy must fit into one or the other category.
The talents and abilities that each of us has will be
appropriate for the work that we have come to do. It is also
important to look at behavior in the larger context of what it
is responding to, rather than what it appears to be. The
assumption is that if we cannot fit in there's something wrong
with us-the bridge generation is telling us that there is
something wrong with being forced to fit in, even within the
popularly accepted descriptions of the Indigo and Crystal
energy. It is time for us to look at strengths instead of
weaknesses, at possibilities and potential instead of failure.
Those who work with the Indigo and Crystal children should
know that there is a mix of energy in many children, all of
which is important to their energetic makeup, skills and
abilities. The adult bridge generation can use these same
tools to find their strengths and focus on what they can do,
instead of being discouraged with their perceived failures.
And, we must all remember that we are new to this process,
that we are the pioneers in this movement and we are just
learning about this energy's potential. Being open- minded
will help us make the best of these exciting and challenging
times so that we can allow the Indigo and Crystal energy, in
all of its expressions, to do the work that it is here to do.
