This week's messages
Accepting the Truth
We process many kinds of truth in our lives. First there
is the truth that we believe about ourselves, based on
the combination of our life experiences and what others
have told us. This truth generally consists of all of the
negative things that we believe about ourselves, like
we aren't good, smart, thin, beautiful, or worthy
enough. Then there is the truth that we hear from
others that reflects how they feel our what they think
about us. While we are willing to accept the negative
truth about ourselves, we have a very difficult time
acknowledging that others may not like us or respect
us and accepting that this is their truth. And we can go
to great lengths to try to change their minds.
We can address the truth about ourselves by
remembering that we are infinite, spiritual beings who
are already perfect in every way. Anything that we
believe that is contrary to that simply is not the truth.
And part of our spiritual journey consists of moving
towards that truth until it is more than a realization, it
becomes the absolute truth for us. When we can do
that the proof of our ever-present perfection will be an
undeniable aspect of our being. But dealing with
others' truth is another matter entirely. It is much more
difficult to accept as truth that someone simply does
not care for us and let that be what it is, just their
opinion. Instead, we often feel that we must, at all
costs, change their mind. After all, we're a good person
and they should be able to see that.
When we try to change someone else's mind, to make
them change their version of the truth to fit ours-I am
really lovable, likable, worthy of respect-we are
essentially telling them that what they believe is not
the truth. Are we able to accept this aspect of
someone without it affecting what we believe about
ourselves? It is hard to acknowledge that someone
simply does not care for who we are and let it go. But
that is what acceptance is all about. Put differently,
how much easier and more joyful would our own lives
be if we allowed others to believe their own truth
without argument? And if we looked past what they
and their actions say, we may see that they are
showing us a much different set of emotions that what
we are seeing. Perhaps they don't like us because they
are jealous, lack confidence or have issues that extend
far beyond what we are aware of.
This week look at the most difficult, challenging person
in your life, the one who thinks that you are the worst
person in the world. Accept their truth for what it is
and realize that at this moment in time, there is nothing
that you can do or say to them that will change their
mind. How much have you let their opinion of you
affect what you think about yourself? Are you so
confident of your own worth and worthiness that you
can accept their truth without it affecting your own?
And consider that this person's purpose in your life is to
allow you to remember the Truth about who you are,
an infinite spiritual being who is perfect in every way.
Once we learn to believe that as the truth about
ourselves, then we will no longer have people in our
lives who challenge us regarding the truth of who we
are.

Blessings to you all!
The November article is posted on the Uriel Heals
website and this month's message is about
Acceptance. We process many different kinds of
truths, including what we believe as truth about
ourselves and what others believe as truth about us.
We can learn to change our beliefs about ourselves,
but what do we do about others? This week's article is
about accepting the truth in every situation so that we
always acknowledge our truth. Read more in this
week's article. This week's Today's Children article looks
at Indigos and Violence. Uriel's message this week
discusses believingin your Self. And, thanks to the
generousity and talents of Xitlalli Contreras of Zona

Can I Leave Now?
Sometimes when I think that I volunteered to be here
to experience the trials that I have in this lifetime, cried
the tears that I have shed and suffered through the
sorrows that I thought would surely either kill me or
drive me crazy, I have two thoughts. The first is 'what
was I thinking' and the second is 'can I leave now?' I
have to wonder why I left heaven for this and then
remember that this is just another aspect of heaven.
When we are in the middle of the worst of our
experiences we forget that there is beauty all around
us, that all it takes is a shift in our perception to turn
even the most dire circumstances into a wonderful
journey of understanding. And leaving or quitting was
never an option when we volunteered to come here.
Taking responsibility for our lives puts us in control of
every situation that we encounter. Learning from every
experience allows us to see the beauty of our lessons.
Even the most painful, difficult experience has a lesson
to teach us, if we don't quit before we reach the end
of the journey. We quit when we give up, see
everything as hopeless and lose touch with our power.
We also quit when we don't see the lesson and have it
brought to us again, and again, until we can learn to
see that pain is a tool that we use for our learning. The
Universe never agreed to bring us pain-we create that
experience for ourselves.
Can we learn our lessons without experiencing pain? We
can, but like children who are threatened with a
punishment that never materializes, we somehow
don't 'get it' unless there is a painful lesson attached to
it. And we feel more worthy, don't we, when we get
through a difficult experience and can look back on all
that we suffered through? Are we ready to accept that
we didn't have to do it that way? The problem is we
have to reach the worst part of a lesson before we get
to the point where we remember that it is just part of
the journey and we could have taken a different route.
Once it's all over we understand that we didn't have to
do it that way. Then our challenge is to not fall into
anger or guilt and just be glad that we finally
understand. And to remember, with each successive
lesson, that there is an easier way to experience our
spiritual evolution.
The Shift has brought challenges to many of us and it
has been so tempting at times to give up and go home.
Yes the challenges have been difficult but the rewards
are even greater. And each step that we take on our
journey of spiritual enlightenment may seem small but in
terms of our soul's growth, it is enormous. It feels like
we have been shifting for eons and we have, but we
are at a point in time where we can now understand
what we are doing and realize the results of our efforts.
All of humanity has been waiting for this moment and
this is what we volunteered to do, to help humanity on
its healing journey. We are creating heaven on earth
and then we can be home without having to leave.

Uriel's Message--Believe in Your Self
Would you be willing to tell others that you believe in
yourself, in your abilities and your perfection? What
would they think about you? Would they call you
conceited, arrogant or self-absorbed? More
importantly, can you tell yourself that you believe in
yourself and really mean it? When you believe in
yourself you are not acknowledging the physical
aspects of your being, you are acknowledging your own
divinity. You are accepting that there is a non-physical
part of you, your Self or your Higher Self, and
acknowledging its presence and its role in your life.
Can you believe in your Self when others do not believe
in or acknowledge you? Do you see this as the ultimate
test of your willingness to acknowledge your Source
connection?
Believing in your Self is acknowledging that there is a
part of you that is wise beyond measure, powerful
beyond human comprehension and capable of
manifesting every wish that you desire. When you state
that you believe in your Self you acknowledge your
partnership with your spiritual connection and create a
partnership between the ego and the Self that allows
you to move effortlessly through life. If you are
engaged in power struggles in your daily life, they are
but a mirror of the battles that you are creating
between the ego and the self, between the material
and spiritual aspects of you.
Believing in your Self allows you to know, beyond any
doubt or fear, that you are always safe and protected.
It allows you to exist in that space that is beyond
understanding, for knowing is understanding put into
practice. When you understand something you have a
comprehension of its meaning and place in your life. But
when you know it, you can move forward with
confidence because it has become part of your being.
This places you in a position of power and connection
from which you can make choices and decisions that
create miracles in your life.
Your life is a partnership between the ego and the Self
and when these two work together, you experience joy
and peace. When the ego gains control you are full of
fear, doubt and confusion. When you place the Self
above the ego you may become spiritually absorbed
and materially confused. These are two aspects of you
and one is not more important than the other. As ego
and Self learn to work in harmony, the two voices in
you, head and heart, speak as one and you will have
fulfilled your spiritual destiny. Do not be afraid to
believe in your Self for it is the way that you
acknowledge the spiritual aspect of your nature. If you
believe in the Self, there is no room for judgment, fear
or doubt because there is no place for them. This
week, believe in your Self, not at the expense of the
ego, which has its function in your life, but as your
ego's partner. Know that you exist in divine perfection
and that it is the partnership of the ego and Self that
hold the key to your greatest power and abilities.

Indigos and Violence
There is a new generation of children in the world and
they are known by many names, including Indigo and
Crystal Children, Star Children, Light Children. Whatever
name they are known by, they are a generation that
we have never seen before and they have special
needs, gifts and talents. The Crystal and Indigo
children represent the new, higher energetic patterns
that are arriving to change the Earth's vibrational
frequency. This new series provides information on
these children and the wonderful gifts they bring to the
world. Along with their special gifts and talents, they
also have certain needs and the purpose of this series
is to help them and their parents find solutions to these
needs so that Indigos and Crystals can do the work
that they came here to do.
In its highest expression, Indigo energy is kind,
considerate, understanding, compassionate and
generous. At its worst, it is self-absorbed, angry,
resentful and violent. The Indigo generation has been
expressed as incredible talent in the form of gifted
artists, writers, musicians and children of enormous
compassion. Many Indigos express their energy in
positive ways by creating imaginative and often brilliant
solutions to social problems. But we have also seen
examples of the negative side of Indigos as they also
have been a generation of children who kill other
children and those that they see as perpetrating a
system that they have come to change. Rather than
work patiently within the system to implement change,
they express the worst aspects of social structures to
force our attention in these directions.
The violence that Indigos are capable of has recently
been expressed in France as the world has watched
French youth, mainly the children of immigrants, rebel
against a social system that refused to allow them to
participate in French society. Poverty and high
unemployment are rampant among this generation who
are recognized as French citizens but who cannot find
employment and are discriminated against, on every
level, because of their ethnic status. I lived in France
for many years and know that this is the way things
are. But rather than accept this situation, as their
parents have, the Indigos are intent on creating a
social revolution that will bring this problem to light in a
very public way, in a country that would prefer to keep
the problem hidden.
I am not condoning the violence of their actions
because I know that there are other, more peaceful
ways to resolve this situation. But the Indigos have
succeeded in getting the French government to
acknowledge a long-standing problem and their actions
will hopefully result in bringing about much-needed
change. Unfortunately, what has happened in France
could happen anywhere in the world as this generation
does not have the same capacity to work within
accepted limits and boundaries that previous
generations have. 'Deal with it and don't make waves' is
not part of their vocabulary. My hope is that we can
learn to take them seriously for they have come here to
compel great change and they will do it any way they
can. We can help them by realizing that they are as
willing to work to correct the problems as they are to
expose them. And by listening to them and taking them
seriously we can prevent the problems from escalating
into violence and chaos. Can societies acknowledge
their issues and work to create more fair social
systems? That remains to be seen. I hope that it
happens sooner rather than later. Although much
information about Indigos has been published in the
United States, they are present in every culture and it
is important that more of this information is available to
other countries so that this generation has the
resources it needs to arrive at peaceful and
constructive avenues to affect the changes that need
to happen. What is happening in France is a call to
everyone, everywhere to understand this energy and
know that it is part of the new paradigm for the world
and to allow it to be expressed in its highest forms so
that there is no need for violence to bring these issues
to light.
