This week's messages
Mindful Love
When we live in a mindful way our attention is focused
on the present moment and we are unconcerned
about what happened in the past and unafraid of the
future. While we can do that in many areas of our life,
when it comes to love and relationships all of our
knowledge about mindfulness can slip away. When
we have to deal with who loves us, how we are loved
and whether we are loved, we often live in the past or
the future, feeling sorrow over what did not work out or
meet our needs or wondering whether we are ever
going to have a partner. But the key to being loved is to
be mindful about love.
If our focus is on our past relationships and what was
good, bad, right or wrong with them, we are being
mindful of the past and our reality will reflect that.
Whether that involves our parents, past partners or
friends, being mindful of the love or lack of it that we
received in the past simply creates that in the present.
If our focus is on the future, where we are concerned,
for example, that we are without loving relationships or
partners, then we create that concern and fear in our
future. How much love do we want right now?
What we are mindful of is what we are giving the full
attention of our mind to. When it comes to love, our
experiences often guide our thinking and beliefs. But
love and its manifestation in our reality starts with us.
It doesn't matter who did or did not love us in the past,
how much we love ourselves in this moment is what
determines the kind of love that we will have in our
reality today and tomorrow. When we are focused on
how much others did not love us our mind is focused
on how 'unlovable' we are. And we will attract people
who reflect that back to us.
To practice mindful love we start with loving and
appreciating ourselves. Make that a meditation, a daily
practice. Find at least one thing to appreciate about
yourself, recognize the uniqueness of you and the
miracle of your being each day. When you are focused
on how much you love and appreciate yourself that
becomes the focus of your mind. The love you seek
from others will follow and your mindful love practice
will manifest relationships with people who reflect
your self-love back to you.

Who Cares About Your Feelings?
During several readings this week I have been asked
why someone did not respect another's feelings. It is
not an unusual question as it is what we think when
someone hurts our feelings. And we believe that the
person should have known that our feelings were at
risk in a situation, especially if it is someone who
knows us well. In these cases, we have a hard time
believing that this could simply be a
misunderstanding. But in most cases it is. While most
people do not deliberately hurt our feelings, the only
person who really knows, understands and can
predict how something will affect our feelings is us.
Expecting others to know that can put us in a difficult
space.
When we are in a relationship with someone we tend
to hand over our feelings to them, expecting them to
be respectful of and sensitive to them. And when they
are not we are more than hurt, we can also feel
betrayed, devalued and dishonored. We now have a
choice, to think the worst of someone and perhaps
ourselves or to remember who is in control of our
reality.
If we choose to think the worst of others, believing that
they have no regard for our feelings, we do two
things-give them power over our reality and become
a victim. And if someone is that unkind, why did we
attract them and what do we need to learn from them?
While most people may not go out of their way to hurt
our feelings, sometimes they will. How we interpret
their actions is a reflection of what we think of
ourselves. If we truly believe in our power and love
ourselves, nothing that anyone does to us can change
that.
While others do care about our feelings, most people
are too involved in their own lives and often their own
fears to consider how we will react in a situation. This
is a reflection of their level of spiritual growth and
understanding. Detachment is our best course of
action because it allows us to pause before we
decide how we will respond. Then we can make a
choice from a place of power instead of our fear, be a
victor in the situation instead of a victim and
understand why we gave control over our emotional
well-being to someone else. With this knowledge, we
are in control of our feelings and can choose to be in
relationships with people who honor and respect
them as well.

Uriel's Message-- Good Karma or Bad?
Each soul comes to the Earth with karma, the spiritual
debts that you have with others. During a lifetime
relationships are created to help resolve the karma
and ultimately to heal and release it. Sometimes
these relationships are difficult and you can believe
that your karma is 'bad'. Other times, they are
wonderful and this causes you to believe that your
karma is 'good'. But there is no good or bad, there is
only karma and how it is resolved. As with everything,
it is how you perceive it that determines how difficult or
easy it will be for you.
Karmic relationships can be difficult or easy,
depending on the lessons involved. But they are not
good or bad, they simply represent wounds that your
soul has agreed to heal. The karmic cycles determine
who is the victim and the aggressor, who is the
abuser or the abused. Each person who abuses you
has once been abused by you. Allowing your
emotional body to become involved keeps you in the
karma, where you have been for many lifetimes. Being
guided by your spiritual knowledge releases you and
resolves the karma forever.
While you cannot avoid your karma you can choose
how involved you will allow yourself to be in
experiencing its lessons. Using your intuition, being
aware of your thoughts and paying attention to the
connections you have with others will all determine
how your karmic bonds will grow. Practicing
detachment and observing your emotions will prevent
you from jumping into relationships as soon as you
feel the pull of a karmic bond. Remembering that you
are here to heal karma, not just experience it, will help
you make choices that will keep you on the healing
path.
You can end karma by remembering your role in the
Shift. You help your karmic partner heal as much as
you heal yourself. Your choice to not engage in karma
is the best healing that you can provide to everyone,
for you free yourself and them from further involvement
on this level. You do not create additional karma when
you avoid it; you give yourself the gift of forgiveness
and resolution and you are free. Karma burdens the
soul and prevents you and everyone involved in the
karmic lesson from moving forward on your path. Your
gift to yourself, your soul group and to humanity at this
time is the ability to forgive, heal and release karma.
This will bring peace to everyone and heaven on earth.

Today's Children--Empathic Children
Parents who provided feedback on last week's article
asked for information on the empathic skills of their
Indigo and Crystal children. Many realized that what
they had viewed as difficult or unusual behavior was a
reaction to energy that many empaths struggle with.
How do we explain to our children, especially to
Indigos who are often not very spiritually minded,
about empathy and how it works and what can we do
to help them?
The parents of Indigos and Crystals are often
empaths themselves and many have hidden or
ignored their empathic gifts because they did not
understand them or they were too difficult to handle.
Now is the time to bring those empathic gifts to the
light because they will help you understand your
child's behavior, know when they are overwhelmed by
others' energy and help them to learn how to manage
this energy.
In Indigos, empathy can manifest as anger or
withdrawal when they become over loaded. In
Crystals, empathy can manifest in tears or sadness;
too much energy and Crystals also withdraw but in a
very quiet and almost unreachable way. The difference
between this generation and the adults is that the
children are not able to hide or ignore their gifts. They
are very much a part of their lives so even if they do not
know how to use them, they have to learn to live with
and use them.
As parents, we can observe our children and feel the
energy around them. Are they calm and happy or
agitated, angry, sad or feeling overwhelmed? Our
empathic abilities can help us to understand where
they are energetically and then respond to what they
are feeling. Rather than asking 'what's wrong with
you' (which is not an easy question for them to answer
because they truly don't know) we can look at the
energy that we feel around them, identify it and help
them work through it. As you become more aware of
the energy and how it affects them you can help them
manage it by connecting the energy and the
experiences and people that generate it. This takes
the mystery out of the situation and gives them the
insight into their abilities. They can then learn to work
with their gifts (and you will too) and use them instead
of being overwhelmed by them.

Spiritual Mentoring
I am now offering a spiritual mentoring program,
where we will focus on your spiritual growth, current
issues or problems and work through a solution. This
program is available in blocks of four weekly sessions
where we work together to help you move past
whatever is blocking your spiritual path. Information is
on the website on the Spiritual Mentoring page. This
program is different from miracle coaching in that you
choose what you want to focus on during our time
together. Sessions are one-on-one and by telephone
so availability is limited.
Do you really need a miracle right now? Do you wish
you could focus on getting whatever you
needed in your life, at this moment ,and have it
appear? The Miracle Coaching program can teach
you
how to do that. Miracle coaching teaches you how to
use your creative power and become a miracle
creator,
putting you in control of creating miracles in your life,
instead of just wishing that they would happen.
The 8 week Miracle Program will teach you how to
get 'unstuck' and get the creative energy moving in
your life, so that miracles are an everyday occurrence
in your life. For 8 weeks, I will be your personal coach,
guiding you through this process. Each week you will
have a lesson to complete and a 30 to 45 minute
personal coaching session with me. I am also
available
by email on an unlimited basis to provide you with
support and feedback on your progress. You will
receive
a certificate of completion at the end of the course,
acknowledging your success as a miracle creator.
You
will also receive a FREE e-book '30 days to Everyday
Miracles', filled with information on how to create
miracles. Coaching availability is limited, so sign up
now.
Information is available on the Uriel Heals website,
Miracle Coaching page.
