Manifesting Good for Others
When it comes to manifesting good for others there is
one important thing that we must know-we can't do it.
No matter how good our intentions, how much we want
to make their lives better, how close we are to them,
we cannot use our power to manifest change in
another's life. That is not to say that we cannot
participate in that process, be supportive and provide
appropriate assistance. But all of the efforts that we
extend on behalf of others have to be done with
consideration for their free will, their own karmic
lessons and their ability to accept responsibility for
their behavior and life situation.
Just as we have each learned, through our own process
of spiritual growth, that we have to accept
responsibility for our lives and actions, others must go
through this process as well. If our spiritual knowledge
helps us get through life's rough spots, it is only
because we have acquired that spiritual knowledge and
then learned to apply it to our own lives. This wasn't
something that someone could tell us or show us, it is
something that we had to learn through trial and error,
by taking steps forward and backward, and by
eventually surrendering our own free will to the
Universe and learning to work with its energy instead of
against it or in spite of it.
When we know these spiritual truths it can be very
tempting to become generous with those who are close
to us and to share our knowledge with them, even
focusing our own manifestation ability on their behalf,
hoping that our own knowledge will help them formulate
a shortcut through their issues. But just as it took time
for us to arrive at that point at which we could no
longer 'take it any more,' so must everyone else. They
must get to that point where they have exhausted
their personal resources, find their own spiritual center
and gain their own spiritual knowledge before they can
arrive at that place of connectedness, peace and joy.
This doesn't mean that we have to ignore others
through their struggles-we are all connected and we
are here to help each other. But we can help them
more effectively by blessing them, sending them love
and light and then waiting patiently until they arrive at
a point where they come to us for assistance. If we try
to help them in other ways, by taking on their issues,
then we become part of their problem, instead of
providing a solution. It is at that point, when they ask
for help, that they are truly ready to listen, truly ready
to change and to accept and understand the
knowledge that we can share with them. When we try
to help those who are not ready for help by focusing
our manifestation efforts on changing their lives, our
efforts can be mistaken for manipulation, judgment or
criticism. If those close to you are really struggling at
this time, be as supportive and helpful as you can. See
them as happy, healthy, enjoying abundance and at
peace. They will eventually move towards that image,
according to their ability and within their own time
frame, and then you will have helped them to learn to
manifest these things for themselves.

Your Overriding Fear
We each have to learn to address and to overcome
our fears but until we know what we are really afraid
of, that process can take a very long time. All of our
fears have a central theme, an overriding fear that is
the root of all of our fears. Once we are able to know
what that is, we can identify its presence in every
situation that presents itself in our lives and with time
and practice, can move much more freely through life.
That is not to say that once we conquer one fear we
won't have anything else to be afraid of, but that when
we know why we are afraid, we don't have to be afraid
any longer.
What is an overriding fear? It can take many different
and often confusing forms. For example, a fear of
success may actually be a fear of rejection by our
peers, a fear of rising, only to fall again, a fear of not
being able to meet others' expectations or even a fear
of being a role model for others. A fear of intimacy or
commitment may hide an even deeper core fear of
abandonment or betrayal, a fear of being vulnerable or
of losing control of our identity. Until we can uncover
our overriding fear we can find ourselves careening
through life, going from one situation to another,
unaware that we are repeating lessons, over and over
again, in an effort to discover what we are really afraid
of.
Uncovering an overriding fear is a process that requires
honesty and self-examination, of looking at the past
with an eye towards the future, and making a
commitment to courage. For it takes courage to face
our fears, to discover that we may not be as 'fear-free'
as we thought and to realize that we have been
repeating lessons without gaining understanding. The
good news is that once we begin that process the
answers are always provided to us, sometimes in the
form of a lesson that will bring the overriding fear to
light. The Universe always responds when we ask for
something and when we ask that our fear be revealed
to us, it will be.
As we progress through the Shift and raise our
energetic vibrations, we are provided with many
opportunities to experience those things that hold us
back. And since we humans learn by doing, the
Universe graciously provides us with opportunities to
learn, first-hand, what we are afraid of and then set us
in the middle of a situation where we can practice our
knowledge. This gives us a chance to do something
different, to be courageous and to identify our fears
and move past them. Then, just as lighting a candle
dispels the darkness, our fears can be gone. And, once
we know and understand, we can move forward with
confidence knowing that we do not have to be afraid
any more. As you go through this week, examine the
situations that bring up your fears. Then look for a
connection between them and other, similar situations
that you have faced in the past. Can you identify an
overriding fear? Are you prepared to address it so that
you can move forward with confidence? Try it and
know that once you do so, you never have to be afraid
again.

Uriel's Message
As you look at the situations in your life today, are you
where you thought you would be? Do you enjoy the
material success that you thought you would have? Is
your emotional life as fulfilling as you imagined it would
be? Are you happy with the work that you are doing?
Many of you ask yourselves these questions and find
the answers to be less than satisfactory-you are not
in the place in your life where you thought you would
be at this time or at this age or at this stage in your
lives. And it is certainly acceptable to ask these
questions, but they are only the first level.
These first level questions represent the surface of
your search for peace, joy and abundance, that which
is conducted at the ego level. And if you stop there
you then fall into judgment of yourselves and even of
others. You must now go farther and ask the next level
of questions, the ones that your heart and soul can
answer. These questions will give you the answers that
you seek and that can help you create change because
within the context of your heart and soul there is no
judgment, there is no criticism.
The next level of questions has to do with why
situations in your life are not what you desire. You
already know, for example, that your life situation is not
what you desire. How? Because you are not happy and
if it was, then you would not be asking the question.
So that question is really moot. What is really important
is why your current life (or health, career or romance)
situation exists. When you can ask those questions,
and be prepared to be very honest with yourself with
the answers, you can arrive at solutions that will turn
these situations around. Then you will no longer ask the
questions because there will be no need to.
Examining your life situation may bring up issues that
you do not want to see or address and you will address
them at the right time and when you are ready. But if
you are at a point where you are prepared to ask the
questions, do not stop with those that put you in a
place of judgment-ask at the next level so that the
answers provide solutions instead of making you feel
worse about yourself. Know that when you are ready to
ask the questions, the Universe will be very generous
with the answers and will also support you when you
are ready to make changes in your life situation.

Today's Children--and Music
The new article on today's children is now available on
the website. This month's article is about the adult
indigo and crystal energy.
This generation is known by many names,
including Indigo and Crystal Children, Star Children,
Light Children. Whatever name they are
known by, they are a generation that we have never
seen before and they have special needs, gifts and
talents. The Crystal and Indigo children represent the
new, higher energetic patterns that are arriving to
change the Earth's vibrational frequency.This new
series provides information on these children and the
wonderful gifts they bring to the world.
Indigo and Crystal children share many similar
characteristics, among them is a love for music. Most
Indigos and Crystals are very musically talented and
can easily learn to play several music instruments with
great proficiency. They like music, even as very young
children, and will listen to it intently. And they have
more than a casual 'like' of music-they actually need
to listen to and to create music in order to balance
their energies and as an outlet for their strong creative
energies. Music's vibrations also help to ground their
energy and to calm then. So it is to their detriment
that many schools have abandoned their music
programs. And even after school music programs and
music lessons are difficult to organize when both
parents work and are far from a support group. The
Indigo and Crystal children are the ones who lose the
most in this situation because of the benefit that they
would derive from being exposed to a constant source
of music or to experience the joy of creating music.
One caveat, though, they know the type of music that
they like and most of them do not like violent 'rap' or
heavy metal music. Surprisingly, many Indigos are now
interested in music by Frank Sinatra and others of his
era and in classical music! Despite the negativity of
much of today's popular music, they will let you know
what kind of music they like to listen to-their choices
may even surprise you.
Indigos have matured with the changing face of music
and many of today's rising music stars are Indigos.
They write about social conditions, needed change and
poke fun at social institutions-not surprisingly, since
that is what they have come here to change and they
are truly pattern breakers. Even controversial musicians
have something to say about what we accept as
normal and how we allow ourselves to be led by our
social institutions. Crystals, although younger and not
yet a large part of mainstream adult society, are also
part of this 'young music' movement. There are a
number of musical prodigies, many of them quite young,
who are making a name for themselves. There was a
time in the not too distant past when there were very
few young people (under the age of 18) in the music
industry. Now there so many that it is not rare to see
someone get their start in the industry long before they
reach adulthood.
If you are the parent of an Indigo or a Crystal child and
your child shows a strong interest in music, whether
that is listening to it or creating it, do what you can to
support this interest. Indigos have short attention
spans, so they may want to try several different
instruments or like a large variety of music. Crystals
tend to be very focused and may become quite
obsessive about their music interests and even exhibit
proficiency at a very early age. Music is something that
these children need, as it keeps their energy balanced
and provides an outlet for their creative talents. I do
hope that we are able to work to reinstate music
programs in the schools that have their curriculum
focused solely on academics, as it will help these
children in many ways and ease their sometimes
difficult life transitions.
