This week's messages
Life After Clarity
While seeking clarity we look for meaning in our lives
and a direction for our path. We believe that when we
find clarity we will know exactly in which direction to go
and the knowledge will bring us peace. While that is
often the case, obtaining clarity often requires that we
make some adjustments because among other
things, clarity shows exactly where we have been less
than powerful, honest with ourselves and made
decisions or choices that did not support our dreams.
Even with clarity, what happens next is not always
clear.
When we have clarity about a situation we have a
detailed view of what has happened in the past. Our
challenge and opportunity is to use this information to
create a different outcome in the future. This is not
better or worse, it is just different, a chance to make
another choice or decision that will take into
consideration what we want to create this time
around. Can we use the wisdom that we achieve with
clarity to make different choices?
Unfortunately we realize that our choices were not
powerful once we have been through an experience
and have to live with the results or consequences.
With clarity we have the knowledge to choose
differently, to review the circumstances before us, to
check in with our intuition about whether this 'feels'
right, consider if our choices are powerful or
powerless. Even with clarity, we can still do things in
the same way because by itself, clarity only provides
us with information about what has happened in the
past. It is up to us to create different outcomes in the
future.
When we ask for clarity we are telling the Universe that
we have the courage to change, to live a life that
reflects the powerful, divine beings that we are. This
does take courage because even if our current reality
is uncomfortable, we know what it is. Stepping into a
new way of being and making different choices leads
us into a new reality that may hold many surprises,
including manifesting exactly what we want. With
clarity we can have all of these things but only when
we use the wisdom it holds for us to make powerful,
self affirming choices on the next steps of our journey.

How Does It Work?
I have a car that does a wonderful job of getting me
anywhere I need to go. My car is dependable and in
good condition. And it starts every time I turn the key.
Which is exactly what it is supposed to do. Although I
know something about how cars work, I don't want to
know what happens when I turn the key. In fact, I don't
really care what happens, as long as the car does
what it is supposed to do, which is to start running.
That it works is enough information for me-I don't
want to know how that process happens.
Wanting to know 'how' the Universe is going to meet
our needs is a lot like wanting to know the intricate
details of how a car works in order to operate it. The
process of creating miracles, responding to our
manifestation, organizing and creating the responses
to our every needs is very complex and always
happens in the right way, until we begin to question
the 'how' and stop the process.
I know, for example, that if I begin to tinker with the
engine of my car I will probably break something and
then it won't work any more. And I don't have the
knowledge or skills to do that effectively, so I leave it
alone and if it needs repairs I take it to a professional.
When we leave the details of creation to the Universe,
we are also putting them in the hands of a
professional, so to speak. We don't need to
know 'how' things will work, we just need to trust that
they will.
When we work with the Universal energy all we have
to do is supply the intention and then respond to the
opportunities that are presented to us. But if we spend
too much time focused on 'how' things are going to
happen we are tinkering with the engine of the
process and run the risk of upsetting the flow of our
creation. Can we trust that the Universe knows what it
is doing and will respond to our every need, even if
that response is not immediate? Can we trust that
when we do get the results that they will be more
imaginative, creative and wonderful than anything that
we could have considered? It's up to us to simply turn
the key and allow the professionals to do their work.

Uriel's Message-- Pause at the Feeling
Your feelings and the emotions that you experience
are part of your life journey. They provide you with
important indicators as to what a situation means to
you in terms of your past and present. You can use
your feelings to help you find the best and most
powerful response to a situation when you can pause
at the feeling instead of leaping forward into the
emotions. When you pause at the feeling stage of a
situation you can make decisions from a point of
power and choose among the many options available
to you.
Your feelings are an indicator of what kind of
experiences are happening, the lessons to be learned
from them and insight into your soul contract for this
lifetime. You do not experience new feelings in any
situation. Each life experience is created to assist you
on your soul's journey of healing and understanding.
Each feeling you experience is a repetition of many
lifetimes of feelings. The feelings arise in order to
assist you in making choices on your path.
When you leap into the emotions that your feelings
introduce you move away from your spiritual
understanding into ego-based thinking. This moves
you away from your power and into the
powerlessness that the feelings can evoke. When you
learn to pause at the feelings and question what they
are trying to help you with, you take control of the
situation and allow your inner guidance to help you.
No matter what you may feel about a situation, its only
purpose is to remind you of your ability to choose
between being powerful and powerless, between
wisdom and confusion, between fear and
unconditional love. When your feelings arise, pause
and reflect on what they are trying to tell you. They have
much to teach you about your purpose, your soul's
healing work and how you can be powerful and create
the reality the reflects the heaven on earth you came
here to create for yourself and for all of humanity.

Today's Children--Indigos and Trouble
Indigos seem to have a remarkable ability to get into
trouble. They often choose the wrong friends, find
themselves in situations where they are in the wrong
place at the wrong time and seem to have no ability to
foresee the results of their actions. They do not do
these things on purpose, they really are unable to
understand that some people have bad intentions and
should be avoided. They can pick out the person most
likely to get them into trouble and choose them as a
friend. And when this is obvious to everyone else, they
can't see it.
When Indigos try to do good for others they get
themselves into trouble. I know that they be difficult,
argumentative and even bad-tempered but they are
also very kind hearted and since they know what it is
like to be 'different' and an outsider, they will befriend
others like them. If those friends are not also Indigos,
they can create problems. While Indigos get into
trouble, they do so because they have no sense of
cause and effect and get caught up in situations.
Others can simply be troublemakers.
My Indigo son had many Indigo friends and a few who
were not Indigos. Some were just troubled young men
who created problems for themselves and others.
One in particular bothered me and when my son got
into trouble because of this boy's actions I had to step
in. I spoke to my son about the value of judgment and
the need to choose his friends carefully. Then I spoke
to the young man about his friendship with my son
and suggested that he end it because I would hold
him accountable for his actions. He soon
disappeared from my son's life.
Knowing who our children's friends are, what they are
like and talking to our Indigos about them is a
necessary part of being an Indigo parent. Even if they
appear to not listen to us, they do pay attention to what
we say. While they may complain and not
acknowledge our concerns they will take them to
heart. It may take a situation where we are proven right
but they will get the message. As I have written many
times, maintaining open communication with our
children is important and we can save ourselves
much concern if we take the time to ask a few
questions, make our concerns known and let them
know that we are paying attention.
