Finding a Clear Path
When we have clarity in our lives our journey can be
much easier and we know which decisions to take
and which path will allow us to arrive at our
destination in a less difficult and painful way. Clarity
allows us to remove the fear, anxiety and confusion
from our lives and move forward with confidence. Like
everything else on our spiritual path clarity does not
always come to us in a direct way. We often have to
take several detours before we find the clarity we seek
because the way to clarity is not always clear.
It would be so easy if our spiritual journey was a direct
path but it is often anything but that. Our lives can be
filled with side trips and detours, paths that we
thought were right but the outcome was far different
from what we expected. When we ask for clarity the
Universe can often deliver to us events and situations
that make us even more confused. There is a reason
for this-sometimes we have to figure out what we do
not want so we can become absolutely clear about
what we want.
Every opportunity can seem like the 'right thing' until
we get involved in it and find out the reality is far
different than what we want. My grandmother used to
tell me 'you never really know someone until you live
with them' and I have found that to be true so many
times in my life. We have all had the experience of
working hard for something that we really wanted only
to find ourselves in situations that we could not wait to
get out of. But they taught us a valuable lesson, we
knew what we didn't want and they help us further
define and clarify what we did want.
We will spend a lifetime defining our path and clarity is
something that we can refine over the course of each
situation that we become involved with. Each
relationship that does not work out provides us with
useful information that we will use in the next one.
Each situation that is a disappointment helps us
further define what we want in our reality. This week, if
your path to clarity is unclear and in seeking clarity you
are presented with options that seem to create
confused, what have you learned from your
experiences? How can you use them to gain clarity on
what you do want? Finding the value in knowing what
you do not want in your reality helps you become more
clear about what you do want. And it's all part of the
process of finding clarity.

Talking About Our Problems
I know several people who talk endlessly about their
problems and they have a lot to talk about. Each
conversation with them starts with a rundown of every
bad thing that has happened to them since our
previous talk, with some items being repeated in case
I didn't remember. While I want to be sympathetic I
also know that by endlessly talking about their
problems they are only making them worse and
creating more of them. But when I try to tell them about
how they are creating the problems in their reality they
don't want to hear it. They aren't ready to create
solutions, they just want to talk about their problems.
When we have a problem we like to discuss it with
others. This gives us the support and sympathy that
we want when our life is in chaos. And while we often
benefit from having a sympathetic ear and the
guidance of others, at some point we have to regain
our power and control and start doing something
about the issue. When we are constantly focused on
what is 'wrong' with our reality, we are simply
attracting more of it to us. No matter what is going on,
in the eyes of the Universe, it is all perfect.
In the Universe there are no 'problems' and nothing is
ever viewed as being 'wrong', there are only
experiences that we create on our journey. Each
experience has a lesson for us and within that lesson
is all of the information that we need to learn and a
blessing in the form of knowledge, power and
enlightenment. When we focus on the problem and
talk about it endlessly we are missing the lesson and
reaffirming our powerlessness. What can we do to
become more powerful and use the information to our
benefit?
Talking about our problems is something we all do.
But there is a time to talk and a time to act. By turning
our focus from talk into positive action we can find
solutions and move out of the situation. When we talk
about our problems we are focused on the past
instead of the present. We are also focused on our
fears instead of our power. Gaining the sympathy and
attention we need to help us feel better about our
situation is important and so is deciding when to stop
talking and focusing on our powerlessness and start
being powerful.

Uriel's Message-- Your Unconscious Commitments
The fulfillment of each miracle occurs when it is asked
for. The energy begins to move even before the
thought is formed in your mind. Sometimes there is a
delay in receiving what you have asked for. Your
tendency is to blame the Universe for not hearing or
responding to you but that is not the case. There are
many things that stand in the way of the energy
reaching and connecting with you and one of them is
your unspoken or unconscious commitments.
You have commitments to many people and
situations, including yourself, which you may not be
aware of. These unconscious commitments can
range from soul level promises to agreements that
you have made that prevent you from making changes
in your reality, especially when those changes affect
other people. Your commitments to yourself may
involve fear about being successful, making changes
or vows to 'never' repeat certain actions or becoming
involved in certain situations.
Your unconscious or unspoken commitments to
others may involve promises to be available to them,
to not make certain changes until they are ready for
you to do so, to consider their needs before your own
or to complete situations before you allow yourself to
move on. These unspoken commitments will interfere
with any changes that you wish to make in your reality
because until you have resolved them you will block
any miracles or changes that can occur in your life.
Until you are aware of and review these unspoken
commitments your ability to move forward, to manifest
a different reality or to make changes in your life is
blocked. Your miracles manifest when you allow all
blocks to be removed. When you ask for your
unconscious commitments to be revealed you can
release yourself from them and move forward in your
life. Remember that the Universe always responds to
your every request and if what you ask for does not
manifest it may be because you have unspoken or
unconscious commitments that need to be released
before you can manifest the reality of your dreams.

Today's Children--Finding 'Normal' in Indigo Energy
With so much emphasis on the fact that Indigos are
different, it can be hard for them to find a place where
they feel normal. We all like to know where we fit in
and when we are constantly faced with how we don't
we can often get discouraged. For Indigos this need
to be the 'same' as others can manifest in their trying
to do what other people do or going to the other
extreme, to find the most unusual and controversial
thing they can do to make themselves feel
comfortable with their differences.
This holds true for the current Indigo generation and
adult Indigos to a lesser degree. The adult Indigos are
less likely to find extreme ways of expressing their
energy but some do so simply because they are
frustrated with trying to create a space where they feel
normal. Others are frustrated at trying to do
the 'normal' things which leave them feeling
dissatisfied and unfulfilled So what is normal and how
can it be defined for those with Indigo energy?
Until now, the definition of 'normal' has been whatever
everyone else is doing. This includes everything from
traditional jobs, relationships, lifestyles and choices.
Maybe it's time for a new definition and I would like to
suggest one. How about 'normal' being whatever is
right and true for the individual, whatever creates the
best use of their talents, gifts and energy, whatever
they feel that they excel at? So many Indigos feel that it
is only when they can excel at 'normal' activities that
they can have the freedom to explore their own gifts.
That just leads to frustration.
And Indigos are good at being different. For example,
many Indigos marry late or not at all, never have
children or have them late in life, have their own
businesses or find very creative ways to make a living.
Even if they are successful they often feel that they
have to make apologies because what they do is so
different from what other people are doing. Yet when
they try taking the 'normal' route through life it does not
work for them. My advice is to learn to celebrate your
differences, to do what makes you happy and if you
don't know what that is, start looking around. Whatever
grabs your attention, whatever you 'wish' you were
doing is the doorway to creating your own definition
of 'normal' for your life. Teach this to your Indigo
children as well, so they can learn to live from their
dreams instead of feeling that their 'differences' limit
their options.
