Whose Opinion Matters?
If I asked ten people for their opinion about what I
should do I would get ten different answers. Each
person has an opinion about the world and what
others should do, based on their beliefs and their own
experience of life. What we get from them is their view
of what they would do in our situation. We can do
several things with this information, use it as insight,
use it as a basis for our own decision or accept is as
the truth for us. When we are seeking clarity it can be
useful to get others' opinions but then we have to
decide what we are going to do with the information
and how much others' opinions matter.
One exercise I often do when working with clients is to
ask them to make a list of whose opinion matters to
them and why. The results often surprise them
because they see how they make decisions based on
what they believe other people think of them or want
them to do. This is a wonderful way to help them find
clarity because they get to see how their reliance on
others' opinions contributes to the choices they make
and the results they obtain.
We all have people whose opinions are important to
us. I have several good friends whom I consult when I
have a decision to make. I trust their wisdom, know
that they will give me good advice and their views on
life are similar to mine. When we ask others for their
input and insights it is important to also consider their
beliefs-are they powerful or powerless, do they live in
fear or are they fearless, do they believe in a
benevolent Universe or are they always looking for the
next thing that will go wrong?
It is often helpful to ask others for their opinions but
how much that matters to us is important. When we
think that others know more about what is best for us
than we do, we put ourselves in accepting their truth
as our own. Using this as a basis for our decisions
can result in an outcome that is less than or different
than what we want. This week, consider whose
opinion matters to you and why. Make a list and then
use it to review how you gain clarity in the choices you
make. Use others' opinions to help you get
information to make decisions and then trust in your
own guidance to make choices that are best for you.

I Thought I Already Learned This
For the past few months I have been going through
some relationship lessons that I thought I had already
learned. So I was completely unprepared for the level
of involvement and how long it took me to let the
situation go and move past it. It's not that I think that I
do not need any more lessons, because I know that
we will experience lessons as part of our spiritual
journey, but I thought that I had already learned this
and would not need to do it again. While I was wrong
about that I did learn some valuable things in the
process.
And some wonderful things happened as a result of
this experience. I discovered how supportive and
loving my friends and family were and how much they
were willing to stand beside me when I needed them.
I learned how much I believed in myself and in my
own truth and what that meant to me. I also learned
that no matter how much I would like to help someone
else heal, until they are willing to accept it, it is a gift
that has no value to them.
Lessons are part of our spiritual evolution and we will
experience them on a variety of levels as we move
along our path. Each level of spiritual growth comes
with its own lessons that we can choose to participate
in or not, depending on what we need to learn. We can
become completely involved in a lesson without
realizing that we have just stepped into a situation that
holds learning for us. If we don't recognize the lesson
it can become a difficult process that we can move
through as we did previously, taking our time to go
through each feeling and emotion. The difference is
that while we may be repeating something we have
already learned, we have more spiritual knowledge
and information to help us learn from and release it
than we did before.
As we change our energetic vibrations we will
experience lessons that will challenge us to use what
we know to learn even more about who we are. These
lessons will be different for each of us but they all
have the same purpose, to help us remember our
connection to Source and to be the powerful, divine
beings that we are. Many of these lessons are a test
for us to recognize our power, set boundaries and to
know when to practice forgiveness and release. When
we recognize a lesson that we have already learned,
we can resolve it by consulting our inner guidance and
using the spiritual tools we have learned from the
previous similar experiences to get through it quickly
so we can move on to the next one.

Uriel's Message-- Claim Your Dreams
There will be an end to envy, jealousy and
possessiveness once humanity understands the
concept of the limitlessness of the Universe and that
everything which you desire on a heart level belongs
to you. Everything that you can ask for, every miracle
that you want to create is possible for you. Your
dreams are not possible for anyone else and their
dreams are not possible for you. What others have
belongs to them and is a creation that they undertake
for their reality. What is yours, what belongs to you, is
a reflection of your dreams. Claim your dreams, take
ownership of them, accept them and then focus your
energy on making them a reality.
What is yours in the Universe is every desire of your
heart, no matter how big or small. There is no
limitation to what can be given to you and to every
person. Those who do not receive do not ask. Those
who do not ask do not receive. Or they do not ask for
enough, for what their heart truly desires, or they ask
with limitations. Asking in fear limits the Universe's
ability to respond. Asking for what another has is a
reflection of the limits you impose on yourselves.
Those who do not believe that their dreams cannot or
will not come true are simply in fear. They have
dreams but are not willing to claim them out of fear
they will not come true.
Your dreams are more than a passing fancy or a
random thought. They are the language of your heart,
which knows and understands what you are capable
of and what is possible for you. It is beyond logic or
understanding, beyond human comprehension
because it challenges you to rise above logic and
move into infinite thinking. Those who question your
dreams do not understand our path or your soul's
mission in this lifetime. Their doubt comes from their
inability to realize your dreams for themselves.
You claim your dreams by listening to your heart and
then using the mind to give a voice to what it is telling
you. The Universe works with you when you claim your
dreams and focus the full force of your will and
intention on allowing them to become a reality. This is
the best use of your power, the way that you create
heaven on earth for yourselves. When each person
learns how to claim their dreams and focuses on
creating them you will step into the flow of the energy
that surrounds you and there will be peace and joy for
everyone, everywhere.

Today's Children--The Crystal Perspective
Crystal children carry another form of energy for the
planet, one that will take the changes that the Indigos
have been able to achieve and to bring it to another
level. Crystals are more peaceful than Indigos and yet
can be even more challenging. They are focused and
direct, to the point of being so set in their ways that
they will not do anything, unlike Indigos who may do
the opposite of what we want them to, just because
they can. The Crystal perspective is one of focused
intention, which has a specific purpose and they will
hold out until they get the outcome they desire.
The best description of the Crystal perspective is one
of passive resistance-they will passively resist
whatever they do not want until we give in. But their
intention is not manipulative, they know what outcome
they want and they are willing to wait until they get it.
Where Indigos challenged the school systems
through their inability to accept rules, for example,
Crystals will not participate at all until the rules are
changed for them. They have more confidence than
Indigos and do not need to use a show of force to get
their way. Their quiet energy gets the point across.
And this is true of both adult and children Crystals.
Adult Crystals, those in the 35 to 50+ age bracket,
have had a difficult time because they have had to
function in a world that moves to quickly for them, is
too loud, too frantic and not ready for their quiet
energy. They came to balance the changes introduced
by the adult Indigos but struggle with how to do that
because they have to combine their Crystal energy
with a level of action that Indigos have. Many of them
feel frustrated because they often don't know what to
do or how to act. Crystal children are just beginning
their school years and how they manifest their
purpose remains to be seen.
The Crystal perspective is one of balance and forward
movement. This perspective is also part of the
Indigo/Crystal energy combinations that include the
ability to create change but in a more quiet, less
demanding way than the pure Indigo energy. Crystals,
both adults and children, need creative outlets for their
energy because that is one way that they can create
balance, through the arts, especially painting and
music. These activities will also help them bring out
their energy and communicate in a way that feels safe
for them. Since many schools in the US have
eliminated their arts programs, it will be interesting to
see how Crystals bring those programs back! As with
Indigos, adult and child Crystals need our support to
help them find ways to express their energy and fulfill
their purpose so that our spiritual evolution continues
to move forward.
