The Possibilities of Transformation
Our spiritual journey is a path of transformation, where
our goal of a renewed Source connection is brought to
us through a variety of events that allow us to change
our beliefs and perceptions of ourselves, our reality
and the world. The purpose of this journey is to take
us from ego-based thinking to a more universal and
unlimited. Transformation exists within a range of
possibilities but we have to be able to see them.
Transformation usually occurs in a context of change,
where we are presented with an event or situation that
allows us to make choices about how we will respond
and what we will do next. We can respond in a variety
of ways that includes our usual habits, what we think
others will want us to do, how we have been taught or,
to try something different. Each of these is a possibility
and none is more right or better than the other. Each
has value and a potential outcome. As always, we
choose what we are capable and aware of. And the
choices we will be aware of are those that resonate
with our level of spiritual growth.
The Universe always offers us opportunities to
practice what we have learned when we are on the
path of transformation. This is a response to our
request for something different, whether it was
conscious or unconscious. We can respond from fear,
where we panic and take the first opportunity that
presents itself. This may be how we have always
responded and it may be our best and most
comfortable option. Or we can respond from power,
where we detach and look at what is happening and
then use our guidance, intuition and spiritual
understanding to make a choice that is best for us on
a spiritual and material level.
Any choice that we make represents our level of
spiritual growth. Knowing that, we must resist the urge
to judge ourselves when we review these situations
and think that we could have done something
differently. At the time, that was not possible. If we
could have made a different choice at the time, we
would have. With the next transformational event, and
there will be many, we can use what we have learned
to choose differently. This week, if you are deciding on
how to respond to a transformational event, how are
you choosing? From power or from fear? What is the
most powerful choice you can make? Choose from
your guidance, spiritual knowledge and power.
Remember that you are always supported and loved
unconditionally and the possibilities change as you
move along your path. There is no right or wrong
choice and the choices that you are capable of making
are part of your journey of transformation.

Living in Appreciation
I used to live in Washington, DC, which is known for
its terrible traffic. My twelve mile commute to work
often took more than an hour each way, sometimes
longer. Along the highway were some beautiful willow
trees, my favorite tree, that I began watching during the
year. Each season marked a change in their
appearance that I looked forward to as I went past
them. I noticed that I had stopped being annoyed with
my commute and appreciating the beauty of these
trees made it shorter. Being in appreciation of the
simple beauty around me made a
There are many things about the world around us that
we can appreciate, things that are simple and yet
divine, beautiful in their own way. We are told that
being in a state of gratitude for our reality is the first
step towards opening the door to change. In the same
way, living in appreciation of ourselves, others and the
world around us is the best way to take our focus from
what may be 'wrong' in our lives to finding beauty in
everything. Since we create more of what we focus on,
being in appreciation brings to us even more things
that we can appreciate.
If you have read my biography, you know that I spent
many years being unable to move or walk. Every day I
appreciate the simple fact that I can walk and move
normally. I have been going through some difficult
times in the past few months and appreciate the
friends who have supported me, offering guidance, or
just a listening ear. I appreciate each person who
reads this newsletter and those who email me with
messages of thanks, hope or questions. When we
are in appreciation we resonate with the highest
vibrations which, in turn, allows us to manifest at a
higher level. Like everything else, what we put out
comes back to us multiplied.
Appreciation is not reserved for the big things in life,
like having our prayers answered. Being in a state of
appreciation is how we come close to the Source,
living in the Light and knowing the divine. When we
are in appreciation our focus is on what is good,
loving and beautiful and that is where we must be if
we are going to manifest the reality of our dreams.
This week, start each day with appreciation for
something in your life, even something as simple as
being able to get out of bed by yourself. Each night,
find something to appreciate about your day, even if it
is that you have a bed to sleep in and a roof over your
head. Living in appreciation is the way we remind
ourselves that we are divine, protected, connected and
loved and manifest more of it in our reality.

Uriel's Message-- Let Others Bless You
Although your journey is unique to you and cannot be
experienced by anyone else, you can allow others into
your life to bless you with their gifts. These gifts may
take many different forms and each one, when given
willingly, has its own blessing for both the giver and
the recipient. Allowing others to bless you reminds
you that you are just as connected in the spiritual
world as you are in the material. And when you allow
others to bless you, you create healing for yourself
and everyone.
Many Lightworkers have been isolated from others
because their soul growth required that they focus on
their own healing and work. It is the nature of
Lightworkers to provide healing to others and many
have done so without regard to their own needs or
been so focused on others' healing journeys that their
own was disregarded. But the first phase of the Shift
is nearly complete and it is time for Lightworkers to re-
integrate themselves into the new world. It is time for
them to accept blessings from others and be the
recipient instead of the giver.
You may find that others want to be with you for your
light, they feel the power and peace within you and this
helps them experience the possibility of this for
themselves. Let them bless you with their presence in
your life. Others may offer you a gift of healing as there
are many kinds of healing available for you.
Lightworkers need healing too and if a healer is
brought to you it is because they need to share their
gift with you as much as you need it for your own
growth and healing.
Allowing others to bless you, no matter how small
their gift is, opens a level of communication on a soul
level. Be aware of the gifts that you receive from
others, whether it is a smile from a stranger, a friend
who lets you know how much they appreciate you, or
an unexpected act from someone who has not done
this kind of thing before. Each of these is a blessing
and each one is a special gift to remind you that
others see and know your light. It is time for
Lightworkers to learn how to allow others to bless
them, to receive gifts with thanks and gratitude and to
know that this is a reminder that they and the work that
they have done during the Shift are noticed and
appreciated by others. Look for blessings from others
to appear in your life and allow yourself to be
recognized for who you are and the work that you have
done.

Today's Children--Gifted, Different Indigos
Both adult and younger Indigos share two common
traits, they are both extremely gifted and they all feel
different. They rarely see themselves as others see
them and don't acknowledge their gifts, no matter how
wonderful they are. Others look at them and see
talented artists, musicians, writers, people who can
heal through their words, music and creations. But
they see themselves as different, not accepted as
others are and somehow left out.
Every Indigo I speak to always mentions the fact that
they are 'different' and have always felt that way. This
is normal, since they came here with different energy
whose purpose was to create change. They are not
and will never be like everyone else, that is part of their
life path. On an energetic level they do not resonate at
the same level as others, so they won't fit in. But
instead of focusing on their differences, they would
feel less out of place if they remembered how creative
and talented they are.
Every time one of my Indigo children mentions how
they don't see the world in the same way as their
peers I remind them of what they have accomplished
and how special they are. And that they have such a
different perspective on the world that they would not
be able to think like others anyway. I remind them of
this often because if they focus on what they don't
have they easily fall into depression, another Indigo
problem that plagues both adult and younger Indigos.
It's time to celebrate Indigos and their gifts, and that
has to start with the Indigos themselves. Yes, it is
hard when others seem to breeze through life and it's
a struggle for you but what are you focused on,
how 'different' you are and how tough that is or how
your differences make you unique? Are you left out of
the pack or do you have the freedom, courage and
passion to create your own path? What a blessing to
have gifts that you can use to create joy for yourself
and others. That is what others see when they look at
Indigos, talented and creative people who can do and
be whatever they want. Who have the courage and
conviction to follow their dreams, no matter what
others say. And often, they wish they were more like
them.
