Reality and Them
There is a mysterious force present in the world today
that is responsible for many of the world's problems.
This force is 'them' the people who have the power,
money and control to affect the world's politics, culture
and economics. We blame wars, poverty, hunger and
lack on 'them.' After all, they are responsible for
enacting laws and carrying out policy, so isn't it their
fault? On a more personal level, they can be our
partners, neighbors, family and employers. 'They' do
things that create pain in our lives. But who is this
group that we call 'them' and how powerful are they,
really? Carl Jung wrote that the status of the world
reflects the collective unconscious, the energy that
consists of our thoughts, beliefs and perceptions, which
creates our reality. If that is the case, then 'them' is
really us.
We create our personal reality by what we believe
about 'them' and their power over us. Every time we
blame something on someone else we abdicate our
responsible for creating our personal reality. And we
give our power away. How many times do we say 'they
made me do it' or 'they created the situation'? Each
time we think and believe that, we are telling ourselves
that we are not in control. And we invite more of that
energy into our lives. It is time to take the words 'they'
and 'them' within the context of how others can affect
our lives, out of our vocabulary and instead use 'I'
and 'me.' This will allow us to take back our power on
both a personal and global level.
Something is changing and it is being ushered in by the
Shift. Even those who are not spiritual, who do not
understand the Shift and who have no knowledge of
their connection to the Source are aware of it. There
is a new sense of urgency, a reluctance to accept the
status quo and dissatisfaction with the state of the
global and their personal reality. Many people are
beginning to question how their reality is created by
their perception of 'them' and what 'they' are doing.
This is a reflection of 'us,' the energy and light that we
are sharing with the world, the re-birth of our power
and our own reconnection to the Source and the
spiritual realms.
Each time that we reaffirm our connectedness to all, to
the Source and set our intention to bring unconditional
love and healing to the world, we change the energy of
the collective unconsciousness and the collective
reality. We then turn the tide of power from 'them'
to 'us'. Know that we are powerful, that each one of us
is capable of assisting with this change. Remember that
darkness is always overcome by light and that light
illuminates darkness. 'We' are each a reflection of the
world and the cosmos around us and we are always
contributing to the Shift's mission, to raise humanity's
vibrations. 'They' have no control over us unless we
relinquish that control. Stand in your power and 'they'
will fade into the light.

Does Anyone Care About Me?
I know several people who are alone in the world. They
have few friends and no family. One of them told me
recently that no one cared for her. I was moved by this
statement because I knew that she really believed it,
felt very much alone in the world and completely
unloved. I have been working with her, maintaining a
steady correspondence because I want her to know
that someone does care. But more importantly, to bring
her to the place where she can learn to care for herself
and to know that she doesn't need other people in her
life to validate her existence.
Feeling alone, unsupported and unloved creates a
vacuum in our lives that we can fill with anything that
makes us feel better about ourselves. Drugs, alcohol,
sex, additions and physical illnesses can fill this void.
And the feelings of being unloved can actually turn
people away from us. If we feel unloved then we can
become needy, latching on to anyone who shows us
affection, attention or caring. This puts in a vulnerable
position of giving away our energy to others. And with
the Shift, many relationships have ended, putting us in
the situation where we can believe that we are all
alone and no one cares.
As with anything in our reality, what we are
experiencing is simply a manifestation of our inner
world. If we believe that we are unlovable, our life
reflects that belief. So if we're feeling unloved and in
that void, our reaction cannot be to look around to fill
the void with whatever is available. Then we're just
trading one set of problems for another. What can we
learn in this period of being alone? What is our lesson
and how can we use it to create something different?
What kinds of loving relationships do we want in our
lives? Sometimes being alone is a blessing because it
can help us to find new friends, to establish new
relationships. But if we spend that time in self-pity, we
miss the opportunity to create new and loving
relationships in our lives.
If we don't have anyone who cares about us, are we
unlovable? Certainly not, even if the media showers us
with images that tell us the opposite. Just because we
may not have many friends or family or even if we do, if
they aren't as attentive as they could be it's not
because we are not worthy of love. We are just
surrounded by people who are focused on other things.
Anyone who is feeling unloved, alone and believes that
they are without friends may be overlooking many
loving and supportive relationships in their lives.
Believing that we are lovable and worthy of love is the
first step towards creating a new reality. If you feel
this way, make a list of the people who care, who are
kind and supportive. Then, set your intention for the
kinds of relationships that you want in your life. Believe
that what you want can be yours and watch miracles
happen.

Uriel's Message--Act with Compassion
The world is focused on Hurricane Katrina, its refugees
and the damage to the city of New Orleans. To many it
is inconceivable that a major city can be destroyed in
this way. Things like that do not happen in the modern
world. But they have happened in the past and they
will happen now. You have known that the Shift
would bring changes to the earth, that balance would
be restored to the planet's energy and that there would
be loss of life. These events are an opportunity for the
world reunite, to help each other and to forget the
separations of culture, geography, race and economy
and work together to create balance and harmony for
all.
Honor and pray for the souls who participated in this
experience because they created yet another
opportunity for humanity to open its hearts, to change
the balance of earth's energy and to create a new
paradigm for reality. The sorrow and suffering of those
left behind creates an opportunity for the world, as it
did with the victims of the tsunami, to show
compassion and to help one another. This event, or one
like it, could have happened in any city, anywhere in
the world. The hurricane was not an example of the
anger of 'mother nature' or the fury of a vengeful earth,
it was a manifestation of the imbalance of energy on
the planet and a signal to everyone to recognize the
need to change and for humanity to shift its focus on
the small self and to re-establish its connection to
Source.
Each of you can do what you can to help others, both
by spreading your light and by acting towards others
with compassion. Do what is in your power to help
those in need. The success of your spiritual journey is
measured by what you do, not by what you have. Pray
that the government leaders around the world open
their own hearts so that they can show compassion to
those who need it at this time. Do not spend your time
in criticism and judgment of their inaction, for that
simply adds to the energetic imbalance. They are
acting in perfection, assisting in the awakening of the
world. Instead, send light and love to all affected,
which includes the victims and refugees, their families
and the world. Give what you feel is right for you,
whether that is time, money or prayer. Each prayer
resonates throughout the Universe and is heard and
answered.
It is difficult during these times to remember that the
Universe is benevolent and the Creator loves all
creation. Universal laws are not kind, they are just. And
within all creation, every imbalance creates a need for
rebalancing. Your prayers are important for the people
and for the Earth. Send love and light to everyone at
this time. Most of all, pray for compassion as this
event, and others like it, are a message to humanity to
open its heart, to be compassionate with each other
and to love each other unconditionally, which will heal
the world.

Today's Children-Indigos and Marriage
There is a new generation of children in the world and
they are known by many names, including Indigo and
Crystal Children, Star Children, Light Children. Whatever
name they are known by, they are a generation that
we have never seen before and they have special
needs, gifts and talents. The Crystal and Indigo
children represent the new, higher energetic patterns
that are arriving to change the Earth's vibrational
frequency.This new series provides information on
these children and the wonderful gifts they bring to the
world.
The first wave of Indigo children are reaching early
adulthood and many are not only unmarried but are also
still living at home with their parents. . Some Indigos
live with one or more roommates and have done so for
some time. Still others are not interested in marriage, or
even in relationships at all. Those who have moved
back to or who never moved from their parents' homes
will probably be there for a while, until they feel ready
to move on. Those who aren't married will probably not
get married for a while either. I believe that Indigos will
not be ready for marriage or for a permanent romantic
relationship until they approach the age of thirty. This
is a much different scenario than their parents' lives,
many of whom married very young and began their
families immediately. This is not an end to the
institution of marriage, although many Indigos do not
believe in marriage, but a reflection of their energy.
The reluctance to engage in superfluous or temporary
relationships reflects the Indigos disdain for wasting
time and energy. They are a generation that knows
that they have work to do and they must conserve
their resources. They also give so much of themselves
to everything that they do, relationships included, that
if they have suffered heartache or heartbreak, as many
have, they will move more slowly in the future. So
even if they are interested in someone, they will wait
until they are ready and the situation feels right to
move forward. My Indigo son just smiles when I remind
him that at his age, I was married and had a child.
As their parents we must remember that this is a much
different generation, one who will not do the same
things that we did and which does not feel the pressure
to conform to society's rules about the right age and
timing for marriage and family. All that we can do is to
be supportive of their decisions and to help them find
their way through the issues that they are currently
dealing with so that they can settle into a place where
they feel safe and comfortable and sometimes this
takes a while. Indigos do not move quickly and take
their time when making life decisions. They also lack
confidence because the world is not ready for their
energy and they have trouble finding their niche. When
they are ready, they will establish relationships.
Remember too that the children of the Indigo
generation will be highly evolved and they must be fully
prepared, on an emotional and spiritual level, to parent
them. Their slow approach to marriage is part of their
preparation to parent these children. As with all things
that concern Indigo children, we must be patient,
loving and supportive and believe that they know what
they are doing.
