This month's article

The Childhood of
Life
Children are highly observant and take in everything they
see and hear, which prepares them to navigate life. And young
children can do very little for themselves and are totally
dependent on their caretakers. Yet instead of being taken care
of, supported and nurtured, so many children bare survive
childhood or look back on this period as the most miserably
unhappy period of their life. What is it about childhood that
can be so difficult? Why do children suffer in their childhood
and create wounds that they often never recover from?
Everyone is born with a karmic history that comes to life
at the moment of birth. From a soul perspective we have a new
presence on the material plane which is one more opportunity
to resolve our karma with our soul group. The size or age of a
child does not matter, their physical body is home to a soul
that has work to do and this work starts the moment they are
born.
Why are children often so cruel? Because they have
not learned to temper their emotions as adults have. When they
speak and act they do so from the depths of their karma and
all of the emotions around it. Whatever they do and whatever
happens to them is simply the expression of their karma. Why
do some parents dislike or abuse a particular child? We can
look at the karma they have with that child to understand the
underlying emotions that are being played out for resolution.
Our cycles of re-birth are karma in motion. What we
do on each step of the way, beginning with understanding that
we are in the throes of our karma, determines whether we are
re-birthing or rebounding. The cycles that begin with
childhood are repeated throughout our life, in every way. Are
you a victim-who bullied you? Are you lonely-who made you feel
unworthy of their attention? Are you angry - who was
frustrating in your life? We can go back to childhood to see
the cycles and how they began. And then use our re-birthing
cycles to heal ourselves at the core so we can truly re-birth
ourselves into a new, higher vibration of living. I

Look and See, Release and Repeat
Last week I sent an update about the energies that are
occurring at this moment because they are so heavy, intense
and challenging that if you do not know what is happening you
could think the entire world is against you. We are up to the
challenge but the intensity of the push to change can
overwhelming. And when faced with one crisis after another, we
forget that there is a purpose, to release and move forward.
Are we ever finished? Not yet because there is always another
aspect to our healing.
This past weekend I went to a reunion for the high
school I attended for one year in the US. I did not know many
people there and no one remembered me although I had been
recognized for my scholarship while at that school. As I was
walking around observing people and making casual
conversation, it became clear to me that I had no connection
to anyone there, even the people I thought I had known well.
My time at that school was unhappy, I had moved to the US from
Europe, my parents had divorced and the culture shock was
huge. Although I tried to fit in, I never did because most of
the people there had been friends for years and were not very
welcoming.
I could have come home depressed (was I that
unmemorable that no one remembered me?) but I left there quite
happy because I released so much that I had been carrying from
that unhappy year. I had been carrying some memories of that
period and while they were validated, they were also healed.
What else do I have to release? I will find out because this
is where we are now, looking at different situations,
releasing the emotions, memories and feelings and then
repeating again and again.
Before you think this is going to be another aspect
of our healing that will take ten years, it won't. This is a
quick process if we allow it to be. As long as we do the
release work and do not get stuck in the emotions that arise,
we can move on. This is where our ability to practice
detachment is important because it is through detachment that
we are able to do the release work. When we see ourselves as
healed we invite every situation that needs healing to help us
make that true. Remember the Universe responds to us and when
we say we want healing, it is more than happy to oblige us.
So, whatever is coming up, look at it, see the lesson, release
and move on to the next situation. And be grateful that you
are doing some of this healing for the last time so you do not
have to come back and repeat it.

Message -- Re-Assess Your Responsibility
Your responsibility as healers is a serious one and you
fulfill this in ways that have often caused you great sorrow.
The soul groups you choose are those that need your light and
healing, but often do not respect or honor the responsibility
you have undertaken for them. The roles you play in each
lifetime demand sacrifice yet the rewards are often not given
to you. The pain you carry for the world weighs heavily on
your shoulders and yet the world does not appreciate you for
it. Do you take on more responsibility to see the results you
wish for or do you give up? There is a middle path you can
follow which will honor your path and help you live beyond
your responsibility.
Can you release your soul group to their own path,
knowing you have fulfilled your obligations to them by
extending healing and understanding? They have unlimited
opportunities for healing and release available to them, from
any teacher they choose to work with. You place yourselves in
that position on their behalf and because of your history with
them. But you can let another teacher fulfill that role in
their life.
Indeed it is preferable to allow other teachers to
take over your role of healer at this time. Just as children
ignore the constant presence and input of their parents, your
soul group ignores your presence that has become so fixed and
available. They take your presence for granted and do not
appreciate your level of energetic vibration. Your
responsibility to them affects your ability to see beyond
their need for healing where you cannot see your interaction
as anything but their healer. In all of your soul group
relationships, do you have any other level of interaction
besides that of healer?
It is time to re-assess your responsibility to your
soul group, to choose how much you will be part of their
healing and when you will release them to other teachers. You
can then have other relationships with them or with others.
You can decide to release this vibration and invite a new
level of healing which reflects your learning. As long as you
are committed to others' healing you will stay in that
vibration with them. Are you ready to allow your soul group to
find its wings? They need to learn to fly without your
guidance and you need to experience the freedom of letting
them go.

Teaching Indigos About Money
Do you have an Indigo child that you are supporting
financially because they won't get a job, can't find work or
do not seem to be able to make more than a bare minimum of
money? Maybe they work and don't care whether they get paid.
Or they don't see the value of working hard because they have
watched their parents work hard and then lose their jobs. They
can make money and will eventually find something that allows
them to earn a living that sustains them and is fulfilling but
we need to teach them how to do that.
A friend of mine spent over one hundred thousand
dollars to send her son to a top university, only to have him
work for minimum wage at a pet store after graduation. He
loves the animals and has a gift for working with them but he
is not making enough to support himself so he lives at home.
He doesn't seem to mind that he drives an old car and barely
has gas money. His mother is now trying to get him to become
an animal technician or a veterinary doctor, but he isn't
interested right now.
I went through this with my Indigo children and know
how frustrating it is. But it is another aspect of Indigos who
have decided to renounce all they see as being unimportant in
the world and living within their own belief system. Of course
it helps that they have parents to take care of them but how
do we motivate them? The conversation has to include that we
want what is best for them based on our perspective, we
understand their desire to be happy and to live life their way
and are willing to help them find a more balanced way.
The thing that we should not do is say nothing,
complain, get frustrated, angry or blame them. Indigos are
already frustrated with themselves and with life, so progress
is not possible when we simply add to their frustration. But
we can help them get creative, find new outlets for their
gifts, explore different ways of making money and most
importantly, showing them that it can be fun and fulfilling.
Once they find that balance they will surprise you by their
dedication, commitment, creativity and willingness to earn a
living and support
themselves.
