Assumptions from the Illusion
In order for us to live by assumption we must also
believe in the illusion of the current world reality,
specifically that there is separation and duality all
around us. This duality exists to emphasize our
separation from our Source and from each other. This
works in very subtle ways and is present in all of our
reality. We assume that some people can be rich while
others must be poor, that there is good and evil, that
we must have war to create peace, that there is a God
or Creator and humanity, that there is the spirit world
and material world. All of these assumptions are based
on the belief in duality, in an 'either or' reality.
But as we continue to grow and heal ourselves, thanks
to the Shift energy, we are able to see through the
veil, past the illusion and to see that we are all part of
a vast continuum and that there is no duality. We know
that all of humanity is connected to each other and to
Spirit, that the material and spiritual world are
interconnected. Once we arrive at this point, the
assumptions that feed the concept of duality simply
disappear and we are left with the knowing that we are
all one, all equal and that there is no duality so there
can be no assumptions . But first we must work through
the illusion.
The illusion is a powerful vehicle because it feeds on
our fears and anxieties about ourselves and our place in
the world and it supports and is supported by our
assumptions. It exists on an individual and a global
scale. Globally, so much discord exists because of the
assumption that we make about other people and
cultures. One thousand years ago, wars were fought
over religion and land. Today, wars are still being
fought over religion and land because the illusion of
duality is still seen as the Truth for much of humanity
and those assumptions carry over from generation to
generation. As long as we assume that others are
different, that we are right and they are wrong, that
ours is the better way, we will continue to feed the
illusion and the assumptions that it creates. And we will
continue to live in a personal and global world plagued
by discord.
It is not easy to break through the veil and see past
the illusion because we must then accept that we are
living our lives based on assumptions that have either
been handed to us or that we have created for
ourselves and then decide on what in our life is real and
what is an assumption. That process creates its own
chaos as we must then decide what we are to do next-
how do we live without assumption? But the blessing of
that awakening is that once we see past the illusion we
are no longer bound to it and nothing can stop us from
creating the life that we want, free from the
assumptions that we can't have it or that it is not
available to us. This week, look at the role that the
illusion plays in your life and the assumptions that you
have created because of it. If you are feeling
powerless, unhappy, unloved or dissatisfied, are these
conditions part of the assumptions about reality that
you have accepted as Truth? Are you willing to see
through the veil, dispel the illusion and create the
reality that you want to live in? The power is yours and
the Universe stands ready to support and help you
when you are ready to begin.

Dealing with What Is
I have always wanted to have curly auburn hair,
although my hair is straight and brown. So for many
years I went through various processes to give the
world the illusion that I had curly, auburn hair. But six
our eight weeks after a hair color treatment I had to
face my hair's dark brown roots and six months after a
permanent, had to acknowledge that my hair was
indeed straight. I wanted to create the illusion of
something else but had to deal with 'what is.' I was
willing to accept the reality of my hair and take the
steps to change with it, knowing that at some
fundamental level, I was never going to have naturally
curly auburn hair, at least not in this lifetime. So while I
still occasionally fuss with my hair, I am happy with it in
its natural state because it is 'what is.'. This may seem
like a simple example but it underscores a very
important principle that we must acknowledge when we
make changes in our lives-we must accept our reality
and then deal with 'what is'.
Accepting our reality means acknowledging that we are
responsible for what exists in our lives, including our
physical appearance. The next step is to deal with it-
what are we going to do to change it, whether that
change is temporary or permanent and how we will
manage that process. And while we have the power to
change many things, there are certain things about us,
including our physical appearance, that are part of
the 'what is' of our reality. Yes, many men and women
undergo painful plastic surgery procedures to
sometimes drastically change their appearance. But
the 'what is' of that situation is that they are not
happy with themselves and believe that changing their
appearance will alter that. Does it? In most cases it
does not, they just look different but are still the same
person that they were before the surgery, the 'what is'
has not changed.
'What is' in our lives does not encompass only our
physical appearance. We have to accept the reality of
the people and circumstances in it as well. If we have
friends who annoy us, for example, what do we do to
deal with it? Their annoying mannerisms are part of who
they are and they will not change for us, nor should
they. Do we continue to be annoyed or remove
ourselves from the friendship? It is, as it always has
been, our choice. But when we see things as they are,
identifying the 'what is,' we can make decisions from a
point of power, knowing that we have the ability to
change how we are dealing with the situation instead
of wishing it would go away or change by itself. Once
we decide that we are ready for a change, it is amazing
how things around us can miraculously and sometimes
quite suddenly alter completely.
We are now seeing the world from a new perspective,
one that empowers us to make changes in our personal
reality that reflect what we want out of life. Accepting
our reality is the first step, and the easier one of this
process. Anyone can say 'I accept this as it is' and
then stop because while they accept it, they may not
know what to do about it. But the next step is dealing
with it-are you willing to change it or keep the status
quo with acceptance and peace? Can you set your
intention for creating something different and then
allow the energy to move in your life so that you create
the change that you wish to see? Are you willing to
take the initiative to deal with the things in your life
that you are not completely satisfied with? Then start
going through the process-accept the reality for what
it is and then deal with it, allowing yourself to set your
intention for love, joy, peace and happiness and let the
Universe help you.

Uriel's Message
You spend much emotional energy wishing that others
would change, act differently, do different things and
make different decisions. Do you believe that if they
did as you wished your relationship with them would
improve? It is a possibility, but not the current reality
in the context of your and their free will. Your path
through life would be much easier if you would realize
that each person is exactly where they
are supposed to be, doing what they are supposed to
be doing and
making the decisions that are right for them. Whether
or not you agree with them is another matter. Each
person is on their own path, living the life that they
have agreed to live according to their contract.
So much time and energy is spent on wishing and
hoping that others would be different that the lesson of
these connections is often missed. It is those with
whom you have the greatest challenges, the biggest
issues, that you learn your most important lessons. But
if you leave the experience thinking that things would
have turned out different if they had been nicer, more
loving, more accommodating or agreeable, you ignore a
valuable life experience that has much to teach you.
And if you are unable to release that experience, then
two things happen: you miss the opportunity to heal
that lesson in your soul's experience and you create an
attraction for a similar circumstance so that you can
once again learn the lesson.
It is human nature to want others to be like you, to
erase their differences so that their behavior is
predictable and fits into the scheme of your life. But
that is a violation of their free will. While you would not
consciously violate another's free will, each time you
wish or hope that they would do or act the way that
you want them to, that is exactly what you are doing.
Know that each person is on the right path for them. If
that does not work for you, then it was not meant to
be. All connections are not pleasant and all interactions
are not always loving and peaceful, for that is the
nature of karma. But all connections do have a lesson
to teach and each one is as it should be.
Many of your most difficult connections are there so
that you can resolve your karma within the soul
contract that you have with another. When you leave
a situation with feelings of bitterness, anger or hatred,
you have renewed the karma with this person, instead
of freeing yourself from it. And that starts another
cycle which will eventually end the same way, perhaps
in another lifetime, unless you learn to forgive
and release, knowing that each person is on their own
path and working on their own life issues. This week,
think about a relationship with someone that is not
satisfying, peaceful or loving. Appreciate the lesson
that you are learning and then release it, with
unconditional love and forgiveness, knowing that this
person is walking the path that they are supposed to
walk, exercising their free will and take comfort in
knowing that once you have mastered this lesson, you
will create a relationship that supports and honors you.

Today's Children-Adult Indigos, their Time to Shine
The new article on today's children is now available on
the website. This generation is known by
many names, including Indigo and Crystal Children, Star
Children, Light Children. Whatever name they are known
by, they are a generation that we have never seen
before and they have special needs, gifts and talents.
The Crystal and Indigo children represent the new,
higher energetic patterns that are arriving to change
the Earth's vibrational frequency.This new series
provides information on these children and the
wonderful gifts they bring to the world.
Many of the adult Indigos had children when they were
young as they are from the generation for which that
was normal. At this time, they are finding themselves
alone, empty nesters, as their children are leaving home
to pursue their own lives. These adult Indigos are only
in their forties and are ready to start the next phase of
their lives, now that they have raised their families.
Many of them have been through the corporate chaos
that begin in the nineties and have experienced several
job losses. For them, the concept of lifetime
employment is not part of their reality. They know that
the world of employment is no longer stable and that
they have to ensure their own financial survival. The
layoffs and reductions in force of the last ten years are
a warning and more is to come. What does this mean
for adult Indigos?
The adult Indigos' parents generally had a single job,
one career track from which they retired and then
pursued a quiet life. That has all changed now and the
adult Indigos are well prepared for those changes.
Although they tried to follow the corporate track, many
knew that it wasn't right for them and they didn't fit in
and could not find or enjoy the success that others
seemed to fall into so easily. Their independence and
entrepreneurial spirit got in the way of the need to
follow someone else's rules. Now many are looking in
other directions, pursuing a dream of self-employment
in a wide variety of fields. Some enter the holistic or
spiritual field, but many others find a unique niche that
they can pursue to build a more stable and enjoyable
work life. Even with adult children at home, they aren't
ready for retirement; this is their time to shine.
If you're an adult Indigo and are beginning to feel that
your 'nine to five' job is deeply unsatisfying, you're
responding to the energy shifts that are calling adult
Indigos to start the businesses that will employ the
Indigos that are now reaching adulthood and ready for
the employment market. You know, because of your
own experiences in the corporate world, how
businesses should be run and you will create work
environments in which the incoming Indigo generation
of workers can thrive. If you feel like you're ready to
begin exploring this avenue, start now because the
time is right. The Universe will support you and you will
know what is right for you when you feel so
passionately about a particular line of business that you
are ready to put your heart and soul into it. Your
corporate experience has given you the knowledge that
you will need to run your own business. Ask for the
Universe's guidance and support and then go for it. The
next generation of employees, many of them Indigos,
is waiting for you.
