Finding the Light
Choosing to travel the path of spiritual wholeness can
seem like a lot of work when we do not fully
understand what that means in today's changing
times. Rather than a lifelong journey of sacrifice, it is
an opportunity for us to be fully powerful and work with
the Universe to manifest heaven on earth in our lives
every day, starting at this moment. To do this we must
work with the Light by finding and activating the light
within us.
We are beings of light and we carry the light with us all
of the time. Sometimes our light can be dimmed by
fear, doubt and worry. Or we can dim our light when
we are afraid that others will judge us for being who
we are. The fear and desperation of those around us
can also cause us to dim our light. But our light is
always there, waiting for us to activate it.
Because we have the light within us we do not have to
search for it outside of ourselves. There is no one who
can give us the light or show us how or where to find
it. Activating it is very simple, it just requires that we
remember who we are, accept our power and reclaim
our spiritual divinity. Once we activate the light and feel
the peace, joy and unconditional love that it brings to
our lives living without it becomes uncomfortable and
even painful.
The light is where we are connected to Source and
once we renew that connection and feel what it brings
to our life it becomes the only choice for us. It is our
willingness to live in the light and to be the light that is
the key to finding it for ourselves. It can take a moment
or a lifetime for us to make that choice-but that does
not matter. What does matter is once we find and
activate our light our journey takes on a different
dimension and we can live in peace, joy and
unconditional love.

Have You Been Retro?
I have been interested in astrology for many years and
pay attention to the movement of the planets. When I
saw that Mercury was going retrograde in June I didn't
really pay attention. Since it is retrograde in my chart,
these periods do not usually affect me. But this one
did and it affected everyone else too. If various
aspects of your life have been turned upside down in
the past few weeks, you are not alone. The planets
(including the retrograde and solstice and the
energies worked together to create some difficult
situations for many people.
We are undergoing many energy shifts at this time
and they are being experienced by more and more
people. Those who are aware of what is happening
can work with the changes (and even then they can be
difficult) but those who have no idea of what is
happening are really struggling. Everything in our lives
is up for review at this time, every choice we make
about what we are doing, who we spend our time with,
and what we focus on are all being magnified so that
we can decide what we want in our reality as we move
forward.
Sometimes we get to make these choices and at
other times they appear to be made for us. Friends
may leave, relationships may break up unexpectedly,
we may lose a job or have to move. Our best option is
to work with whatever changes are occurring and to
remember that we are always in control, even if it
seems that changes are happening without our input.
The Universe works with us-not against us-and
can help us find areas in our life where we need to
make changes. We are also moving into dimensions
where our every thought manifests in our reality. Are
we ready for that to happen? Any area where we are
limiting ourselves and our potential is being brought
to our attention. This will continue to happen for us
and for others until we are fully aware of how we
create our reality and are satisfied with what we have
created. We can help others by being aware of what is
happening and helping them understand this
process. The next Mercury retrograde period starts
October 12, 2007. It may not be as difficult as this one
was but we can expect more energy shifts like this in
the future and be prepared to work with the energy and
know that all is well and in divine order.

Uriel's Message-- Combining the Energy Trininty
Self-sabotage occurs when you make choices that are
not in your highest good. These choices may be
extreme, as occurs when someone makes choices
that cause their life to spiral out of control. The other
form of self sabotage occurs when someone focuses
on manifesting and then cancels their efforts through
doubt, fear, worry or disbelief. All self-sabotage is
internally motivated and has an effect in your outer
reality.
Each time you doubt your abilities, your gifts and
talents or your purpose you are sabotaging your
efforts. Each time you are afraid or do not believe in
the power of your thoughts and the willingness of the
Universe to work with you, you are sabotaging your
efforts. As you move forward through the Shift your
ability to create what you want is magnified, and so is
your ability to destroy it.
Until you are aware of your unlimited power over your
reality you will sabotage your efforts at different times
because you may not trust that you truly can have all of
your heart's desires. This is your spiritual heritage
and what you came here to do, to learn to be powerful
in the material world. It is such an easy process that it
appears to be difficult and yet you all have this ability.
This is a time when the energies are shifting at an
exponential rate and there will be increasingly shorter
delays between what you ask for and when it is
available to you. Every thought that you have is
important and how you sabotage your efforts will be
very clear-if you are not receiving what you asked for,
notice how are you asking and what energies are
around your request. Any sabotage can be undone
once you are aware that it is happening. Above all, be
gentle with yourself as these are difficult times and
much is being given to you and asked of you. Move
forward with your learning and do not spend time in
the energies of guilt or regret. This is a time when the
veil is lifting, the spiritual and material worlds are
merging and your heart's desires are available to you.
Ask with confidence and trust and you shall receive.

Today's Children--The Indigo Lifestyle
Many parents write to me about their Indigo children,
now in the late teens and early twenties with
questions about the lifestyles that their children have.
These questions are not about drugs or drinking or
those types of issues, although they do come up, but
about how they are living. Many are undecided about
what they want to do, can't start or finish college, still
live at home or with multiple room mates and most
are not married. The question I am often asked is 'will
they ever have a 'normal' life'?
For Indigos, the life that they are living now is normal.
Their parents may see it is not normal because it is
so different from their own lives and from the way that
they were raised. But most of them are not going to
move into a career that makes them happy, marriage
or even living alone until they are close to 30. That
does not apply to all Indigos but it does apply to many
of them. For the parents who are awaiting their first
grandchild I would say just be patient. Indigos do
things when they feel they are ready.
Whenever I talk to my mother about my older Indigo
son she always asks whether he has a girlfriend yet.
And the answer is always the same, 'no'. He has
been through a number of bad relationships and he is
not ready for that. And he isn't lonely-he lives in a big
house with four young men, all Indigos. This appears
to be typical of a lifestyle choice that many Indigos are
making and they often find other Indigos as
roommates. Other Indigos can't seem to leave home
and are happy to live with their parents even into their
adult years. As far as a career or college are
concerned, they will try different things until they find
what they like to do. And that may take multiple tries
over many years.
I am glad that my Indigo children are not feeling
pressured to marry, to jump into a career or take on
the responsibility of family life (as I was at their age)
as I know they simply are not ready for those things. I
do try to guide them when they ask me for advice or
help and don't criticize their choices. However, we do
have some boundaries in place, such as rules for
living at home and how much financial support I will
give them. They know that they can count on me for
help when they need it and when they finally choose,
they will make the right choices for themselves at the
right time.
