This month's article is entitled The Shadow Connection, and addresses the issue of our shadow, which we all have and fear because we believe it contains our darkest aspects. Yet the shadow is both light and dark, for without both it would not exist. Within the shadow lies everything we are, have been and can be. We are often afraid to look at our shadow and know what lies within it so we try to avoid it. But we can't do that for long, for it is reflected in every aspect of our reality. Earth's duality allows us to choose which energies we wish to experience and when we choose peace, we step out of our healing cycle and allow transformation to occur. Peace is the vibration of the Christ Consciousness, the spiritual human and heaven on earth. This is Archangel Uriel's message for this week. The Shadow's Reflection

Our willingness to reconnect to Source, to access higher levels of being and incorporate new energetic vibrations into our life path opens the door to healing. In this process we are shown every aspect of ourselves that stands between us, in the material plane and heaven on earth, where we are out of alignment with our divinity. This is the shadow and our attention is drawn to it when we are ready to begin creating the 'spiritual human' paradigm within ourselves. We can fear the shadow and resist review it but we cannot escape it because even if we do not want to see it, we will see its reflection all around us.

The person who irritates you the most, your most challenging life situation, the things you wish you did not have to face and your regrets about the past are all part of your shadow. You do not need to dig very deeply into yourself to find the things in your own energy field that need healing, just take an inventory of your life. Who do you dislike the most, what behaviors are the most irritating to you, what do you wish you could change and what would you have done differently? All of these are aspects of your shadow and can map your path to healing for you.

We see the world around us as being very real but it is actually an illusion, created from our beliefs and perceptions, that includes the light and dark aspects of yourself. Your shadow is present for you to see, resolve and transform in every person and situation. So walk forward with courage, the shadow is powerless to hurt you, and has no power other than what you give it. The shadow only mirrors your fears and doubts back to you. You can't resist or ignore it because it is all around you.

When we resist healing we are in conflict with our soul purpose, which is to clear energy, transform and release karma and raise our vibrations. We carry these energies as part of our shadow, the human side of our Self, the side that is separated from Source. Our healing journey is about clearing the old connections, patterns, beliefs and vibrations that are the reason the need for healing exists. Recognizing the shadow is not a sign of weakness, it is an affirmation that you are on your healing journey so bless whatever is reflecting your shadow to you because now you know what you are facing and what you have to do.

Healing the Father Energy

This Sunday is Father's Day, a day when fathers will receive cards and gifts that show their children's appreciation for them. This is an awkward day for many of us, because our relationship with our fathers has not been the loving, kind, compassionate image we have of fathers from Hollywood movies. Some of you had fathers who were abusive, domineering, angry, violent, who were totally absent or who were physically present but emotionally distant. No matter how you feel about your father, it is time to reconcile the father energy so we can know it for what it is, an opportunity for us to experience the male energy and reconcile our relationship with it.

In its highest expression, the father energy is an example of energy in action, complementing the nurturing and creative energy of the feminine. When we are balanced in the expression of our male and female energies we are compassionate and motivated, understanding and creative, moving forward with a clear direction and focused on living our dreams. But this is not the case for many of us because our experience of the male energy is far different.

We have lived with the imbalance of male and female energies for eons, and while that energy is shifting and we have come far, we are haunted by the memories of difficult father relationships. The young male Indigos are focused on presenting a balanced, caring, nurturing male energy to their children. For the rest of us, it is time to clear the father energy so we can shift our own energies from those that we have carried for so long into something that will help us connect with the gifts of the male energy.

On Father's Day you do not have to pretend your father was the kind, compassionate, loving and supportive father the media portrays if he was not. But remember that he was raised with the male dominant mindset and he either expressed it to an extreme or tried to hide it by being distant. Perhaps he felt unable to be a parent and he left, many fathers did that. Whatever your relationship with him was like, you chose him as your father for the lessons he could teach you. And you raised your children to be different. So forgive your father, whatever his transgressions, and give yourself peace on this day. A new aspect of fatherhood is being created that will make your suffering a thing of the past. To all of the fathers, happy father's day.

Uriel's Message -- Choose Peace

The duality of the earth energy allows multiple vibrational levels of energies to co-exist so that you can each choose the path you wish to follow. This was according to the Divine Plan for separation and reconnection, for you to experience complete disconnection from Source and make the journey back to your divinity and to your spiritual Home. In this duality you can choose love or fear, joy or sorrow, peace or chaos. All of these energies exist and none is better or worse than another. Each is an expression of an energetic vibration and you will choose the one that fulfills your learning and healing purpose.

You can choose chaos over peace and your life will reflect the darkness that is the gift of chaos. Each energy has its gift that contributes to your learning. The duality energies lack the balance of spirit so as you move into the material aspects of these energies and away from spirit it is easy to become disoriented and lost. This is where you experience chaos and drama, and the farther you are from spirit the more you attract fear-based energies that allow you to spiral into challenging situations that cause you to feel powerless, alone and disconnected.

The choice for peace in every situation allows Spirit to move in your life and brings your energies back into balance with your purpose of healing and transformation. With every healing experience there is a need for transformation. Without your understanding of this need, you will continue to draw healing experiences to yourself and be in a continuous healing cycle. When you choose peace you create avenues for transformation, resolution and release. Would you prefer to live in chaos or be able to choose another path for learning?

The choice for peace is a choice to be centered, balanced, in connection with your spiritual being while fully aware of your material existence. This is the energy of heaven on earth, the essence of the spiritual human paradigm that you are now creating for yourself and for all of humanity. It is the divine taking form, the re-birth of the Christ Consciousness. With peace comes understanding, awareness, and mastery. When you know that peace is a choice you have completed an important aspect of your learning and are ready to access higher energetic vibrations where chaos and its manifestations do not exist. Choose peace and choose joy, understanding and reconnection for yourself and all of humanity.
