This month's article
is entitled A Potential Life. Our life
is a flow of potential awaiting expression. Our potential is
simply everything that is possible for us, within the limits
of our will and energy. Potential takes form when we are
willing to transform and are at the energetic vibration to
allow it to happen.

Unused
Potential
In our process of awakening to our true selves, which is
that which expresses our divinity and power, we become aware
of our unused potential. These are the things we could have
done, the person we could have become and the life we could
have had. And it makes us feel sad and depressed. Looking at
our past from the present moment we see all of our missteps,
our fear and our misguided actions. Can we get those moments
back? What happens to our unused potential?
There are many different paths we could have taken with
our lives but the one we chose was the only one that was
available to us given what we needed to learn in a lifetime,
as long as we were on the path of our karmic destiny. The
other options were there but at that time, we were either too
afraid or to enmeshed in fulfilling our soul contracts to
consider them. They were the choices that scared us, that we
thought we could not do or there were too many obstacles on
that path for us to venture onto it.
So many times we choose what we think is the easier
path, not realizing that it is the one that restricts the
expansion of our potential, that keeps us on the path towards
our destiny. When we are aware that we have 'wasted' our
potential we think that since life is short we have thrown
those chances away and we are forever barred from discovering
what treasures may have been available to us. But potential is
never wasted and it takes on new forms as we are prepared for
it.
The life we could have had is the one we can have
now, without the burden of living through our karma.
Everything that could have brought us joy in the past can be
transformed into an opportunity for joy in the present moment.
Our willingness to be open to the potential of this moment,
while rekindling our dreams that we have let sleep within us,
creates new potential from the ashes of 'what could have
been.' Then we can find the joy, success and peace that we
thought we lost because we let opportunities pass us by. They
are not gone, they just lie waiting for us to remember who we
are and to create an opening for them to manifest for
us.

Floating or Swimming Against the Tide?
It seems like the world is falling apart right now. So
many different things are happening that are eroding our
beliefs in humanity. As we learn more about what goes on in
the world, politics, economics and with people in general, it
can be hard to not spend the day being angry, depressed and
sad. How could things be so wrong and will we ever feel safe
and secure again? Were we ever safe and secure or were we just
living an illusion that we are now awakening from? Have we all
been floating in a sea of ignorance and how can we change
direction?
Many years ago I was on vacation at the beach with my
family and got into a small rubber life raft with some other
kids. Because there were so many of us we didn't have room for
the oars so we left them at the beach. We were laughing and
talking, not realizing that the current was taking us out to
sea. When we saw the buoys we knew that we were in trouble.
The lifeguards had to come in their boat and bring us back to
shore. Even if we had the oars, going against the current
would have been difficult. What we should have done is had
someone stand in the water and hold the boat-but everyone
wanted to be in the boat, where the fun was. No one wanted to
hold the boat so it did not float out to sea with the
tide.
As we go through our lives focused on our material
existence we forget about manifestation and creating the
world. Instead, we let the world create itself and it does,
aligning itself with the most dominant energies and everyone
flows along with whatever is created. If those energies are
loving and compassionate the world reflects that. If they are
greedy, selfish, manipulative and controlling, that is what we
see in the world. We are aware of the problem when we become
uncomfortable. How do we change it?
We can be angry with the world but that will only add
to the energies that have created the situation. Instead we
can focus our energies on what we want to create, to add a
spark of light to the currents of darkness that everyone has
been mindlessly floating in. To move forward we begin by
holding our own boat so it does not float with the tide.
That's a lonely place to be as we are watching everyone else
floating by us. But then we create enough momentum so we are
supported in our efforts. How much of your time and energy do
you spend being angry with the world? What can you do to go
against whatever current is taking you in its direction and
start going against the tide?

Uriel's
Message -- Illusion or Delusion?
The illusion is the path of the third dimension, the
creations of the mind that are the physical representation of
your beliefs, thoughts and perceptions. The mind does this to
create a physical foundation from what it knows to be true.
When you believe in the creation of the mind, you are in
delusion, creating truth where it does not exist and allowing
the belief in the physical world to become the reality of your
existence. You can shift the illusion but you must also
transform the delusion or you will continue to manifest the
same reality in your search for stability and truth.
Although the illusion of the third dimension appears
to be true, its truth exists only in the mind. And since it is
a mirror of your beliefs, it is easy to accept it as truth. So
much of the world maintains a state of delusion and this is
why it is so difficult to create transformation, because while
the illusion can be changed, it is the delusion that must be
addressed in order to shift reality into higher dimensions.
Without this shift, the delusion allows material truth to
override spiritual truth. The reality of spiritual truth
cannot be seen without the mind's partnership because it
creates what you can 'see', it brings form in the physical
world.
Do not delude yourselves into believing in the chaos
of the world. It is only a mirror of a moment of your
thinking. In order for it to continuously manifest, it must be
continuously supported by the delusion of the thoughts and
beliefs that give it form. Once those are removed the illusion
disappears and you are free to create a new reality. The only
true reality is of spirit, the one that supports your power
and divinity. All other truths are false, born from the mind's
desire to expand its own beliefs and power.
The state of delusion is comfortable and safe for
many, even though it is unstable and fearful it is what you
share with others. Your mind knows it and it can be seen.
Releasing the delusion removes the illusions of your reality
and you stand alone, unsupported and without a foundation.
This is a fearful place to be, which is why many take a small
step in its direction and retreat back to the comfort of their
delusion state. Are you ready to accept your divine truth and
release your delusion? Can you be comfortable in the shifting
energies of your truth as your illusion changes from moment to
moment? Which of your aspects needs the comfort of its
delusions and how can you create peace and joy if there is
nothing in your physical world to support this belief? When
you are ready to know your truth, you can create your reality
from a place of conscious intention and instead of an illusion
you will have heaven on
earth.

As adult Indigos approach middle age they are taking on a
new role, as caretakers for their family. Sometimes they care
for elderly parents and relatives, sometimes it is for their
children who cannot support themselves. After doing their
healing, disconnection and release work, they are often caring
for the people that they did the releasing from. There are
many dynamics at work in this process, which have to do with
how we work as teachers, healers, students and Lightworkers.
And as Indigos, we are working at clearing out old energies,
transforming cycles of healing and moving energy. These
situations will help us bring our work full circle and allow
us to accomplish more than we could if we avoided them.
There was a time when multiple generations lived
within a family home but that changed in the last century. Now
we are coming full circle and it is not uncommon to have more
than one generation in a household. Just when we thought we
were free to live our own lives, we have to decide whether we
will take on the responsibility of others. And it is often a
situation where 'yes' is the only answer. So now we have the
opportunity to walk our talk-can we do this with love and
compassion? Can we create balance, use our boundaries and have
our freedom and joy too?
I have had to care for both of my parents and I
hesitated before taking on that role. With my terminally ill
father, saying 'no' was not an option. And just before he died
he thanked me for being there for him. My mother needed help
adjusting to her new life as a widow. During these times I
have had many opportunities to walk my talk as a healer,
teacher, student and Lightworker. It was not always easy but I
knew that it was an opportunity for me to come full circle
with my soul group and to complete a long healing cycle.
Through it I learned a lot and was able to find joy and peace.
It is not easy to take on responsibility for someone
who has caused us pain or because we simply do not want to.
This is where our boundary work becomes so important. We can
create balance by using the tools we have acquired in
our disconnect and release work. Instead of connecting through
the old energies that push our buttons, can we create new,
supportive and powerful connections? Instead of saying 'yes'
to everything, can we put ourselves first in a loving way and
teach others to be mindful of our needs instead of resenting
their intrusion in our life? Can we see this as an opportunity
to practice love and complete what has been a long journey of
healing with our soul group? That is what these caretaker
situations represent for us and when we are mindful of this we
can make the best use of them to learn, teach and heal so we
can have joy, peace and love.
