Mirroring our Beliefs
Every aspect of our life is a mirror of our beliefs. Our
job or career mirrors our beliefs about how successful
we are or can be. Our relationships mirror our beliefs
about how lovable we are. Our financial status mirrors
our beliefs about how much abundance we deserve.
The people in our life mirror how we feel about
ourselves. And our reality mirrors all of this back to us.
As difficult as it may be, our reality is simply a mirror of
what we believe to be true about ourselves. And our
beliefs created it.
We all want to be loved, successful, valued,
appreciated and happy and spend much of our
waking hours working to attract those things to us.
When they don't happen we try harder, thinking that if
we work hard enough we will get what we want. But
the reality is not the issue; it is the beliefs that created
the reality that we must focus on. The reality is simply
the end result. We have to work from the beginning to
create the change we want to see. We must begin
with the beliefs.
Any part of our life that is not filled with joy, peace, love
and abundance has been created by a belief that we
can change. We aren't aware of the need to change,
however, until the situation becomes uncomfortable
and we notice it. Then we can one of two choices:
change the belief that created the situation or to
remind ourselves that we don't deserve any better.
The first choice will change our reality. The second
choice will create a reality that reinforces that belief.
Which one would you choose?
Recognizing that our reality mirrors our beliefs
reminds us of how powerful we are. There is nothing
that we cannot do once we understand this concept.
Every aspect of our life mirrors our beliefs back to us.
When we accept our power we also acknowledge our
ability to change our beliefs and our reality will
change. If there is an aspect of your reality that you
would like to change, look for the belief that it is
mirroring to you. Are you willing to change that belief?
If you do, your reality will change to mirror that back to
you.

Who are Your Friends?
As I was growing up my mother always insisted on
meeting my friends, much to my embarrassment. And
if I had friends that she did not approve of she would
let me know that she did not want me to hang around
with them. Of course, the ones she disapproved of the
most were the ones that I preferred to be with but as I
grew older, I understood what she was doing and how
important it was to choose my friends carefully and not
let everyone who appeared to want to be my friend into
my energy.
We can have all sorts of friends, those who treat us
well and some who treat us badly. Those who love
and honor us and those who at times betray us. I don't
have a lot of friends but the ones I do have are loving
and supportive. For many years I allowed anyone who
wanted to be my friend to enter my life. And
sometimes I was treated very badly by people I
thought had my best interests at heart. What I
eventually learned was that many people were
attracted to my light and energy and I needed to be
more selective about who I shared that with.
Especially at this time, many people are looking for a
source of light and energy to help them through the
Shift. And as Lightworkers we can attract people who
see us as an opportunity to make their lives easier
and to give them the energy that they don't believe they
can create for themselves. One of my teachers used
to call them 'energy vampires' and described them as
people who took energy from others. These can be
very destructive relationships and we can avoid them
by selecting our friends carefully.
When I said that to a client recently, he said that he
didn't want to create karma in his life by refusing to
help someone. I replied that he could help this person
and be involved in their drama or he could allow them
to find someone else, which is what they would do.
Sometimes the best gift we can give to someone else
is to allow them to find their own power. Choosing the
people that we will share our energy and light with
keeps our own foundation secure and fills our life with
friends who mirror our power back to us in a loving
and honorable way.

Uriel's Message--Step by Step
Your spiritual path is a journey of discovery and
learning. With each step you have an opportunity to
find your power, reconnect to the Source and complete
a lesson. You may complete only one step in a single
lifetime and this is not a failure. Each lesson is so
important to your soul's growth and to the vibrations
that you are setting for humanity during this time. Your
purpose here is not to attain complete spiritual
mastery, as it has been defined for you, but to master
your own lessons and complete your own healing.
Your spiritual journey is completed one step at a time.
Each part of the journey is important and you may be
making the most progress when you feel that you are
not moving forward at all. The greatest learning occurs
in the times when you are silent, watching and
waiting. When you surrender because you realize that
you are no longer able to make things work and must
ask for guidance is when you have understood that
you must learn to be guided by the Source instead of
charging forward out of your own fear.
There are no insignificant or small spiritual lessons
on your journey. Every lesson you have come to learn
is one that you have spent lifetimes mastering. When
you master it, heaven rejoices because you create the
energy for others to master it as well. When you
master the lesson of unconditional love, for example,
you allow this energy to manifest on earth. When you
master the lesson of compassion, you create a
vibration of compassion for all of humanity to
experience.
There is no order of magnitude in the Universe and no
prize given to the person who completes the most
lessons in a lifetime. It is more important to complete
each step of a lesson than to try to finish multiple
lessons. Your soul knows what it needs to
accomplish and when you are still and listen you can
acknowledge the success that you have achieved
simply by being willing to acknowledge a lesson,
experience it and allow the healing to occur. This is
your gift to yourself and to humanity and each step on
that journey, no matter how small it seems to be, is a
victory for you, your soul and for the spiritual and
material worlds.

Today's Children--Adult Indigos and Midlife Crisis
Many adult Indigos, both men and women, are going
through a midlife crisis at this time. This term is often
used to describe a change that men go through when
they reach middle age, when they divorce their wife
and marry a younger woman or leave their job to
become a biker, or some sort of behavior that seems
totally strange and irresponsible. Instead, adult
Indigos are realizing that they are not happy and
satisfied and are breaking away from a life that they
have tried to live for others and creating a life of their
own.
We are all being made aware that we need to follow
our heart and do what we are truly interested in and
passionate about. Today's adult Indigos, who are in
their forties and fifties, may have spent many years in
jobs that they didn't like or took because they provided
a certain amount of financial security. Or they have
stayed in unfulfilling relationships or other unhappy
situations because it was the 'right' thing to do. But
they can no longer do that and the pull to do
something different, something that feeds their soul is
so strong that they can no longer ignore it.
And many are leaving their jobs, either voluntarily or
involuntarily, and finding work that they enjoy. Or they
are ending relationships, relocating or making other
life choices that may be completely different from
anything they have done before. To their family and
friends, it may seem like they have lost their minds
and they can become quite critical of their choices. But
to someone who has been in a job, lifestyle or
relationship that has become a burden, it is a choice
that must be made. Whether it involves a total change
of career, a geographic move or even a divorce, the
crisis that faces adult Indigos today is so important
that they must do what they need to do or they don't
think they will be able to survive.
If you are in this situation you know exactly what I am
talking about. The need for change is so strong that
you are willing to risk everything to make it. And it is
what you need to do, balancing your choices with trust
and faith. Some will be critical of your choices and
others will support them. One important thing to
remember when going through this process is that
you will be guided as to what is right and best for you.
There are many opportunities now to balance the
spiritual and material aspects of the work you do and
when you make the choice for change, trust that the
doors that open for you are the right ones and walk
through them knowing that you can create the reality
that you want for yourself.
