The Right Choice
We all want to make the right choices, the ones that
bring us joy and abundance. But despite our best
intentions, our choices often bring us anything but
that. How many of us say, 'if I had done things
differently, my life would be so different today'. But
would it? Each of us, given the opportunity to go back
in time would make the same choices because we
forget that we don't get the opportunity to go back
with the knowledge that we have today. And it is what
we learned by experiencing the results of previous
choices that allows us to make different choices in the
present. In short, we always make the only choice that
we know how to make at any point in time. And our
issue is not with the choice that we make, it's the
results that are often not to our liking. So how can we
make 'right' choices that deliver the best results?
There is no 'right' choice, just as there are no wrong
choices. Each choice that we make reflects the sum
total of our spiritual, emotional and intellectual growth
at that moment in time. The choice that we make is
the only one that we see as being available to us
because we are aware of whatever reflects who we are
at that instant. As we move forward along our path and
grow and change, we make different choices because
we become aware of different options. There is danger
in assessing our choices as right or wrong because this
make us doubt ourselves. And, if we made wrong
choices in the past, then we surely can make wrong
choices in the present and in the future. So we stand
still, afraid to make any choice at all because it might
turn out to be a 'wrong' choice. Again, it's not the
choice that we regret; it's the result.
Judging our past actions through the eyes of the
present only makes us unhappy and serves no purpose.
As we are presented with opportunities to choose, we
can use our past experiences to assess those choices,
based on what we want to create in our lives right
now. We can only make different, or more enlightened
choices because no matter how or what we choose, it
is our level of spiritual growth and enlightenment that
will determine the outcome of our choices. No matter
what we choose, if we are living in fear, including the
fear of making a 'wrong' choice, all of our choices will
have the same outcome.
When we are faced with a choice, we need to look at it
in terms of the outcome that we want to create. Does
this choice make that outcome possible? Then we
should pause and ask for spiritual guidance, assessing
how it feels to us. If we are fueled by strong emotion,
then we should pause twice as long because there are
other factors, such as karma, influencing us. If we are
making the same kinds of choices over and over again,
perhaps we need to reflect on why we are repeating
behavior and ask ourselves what we need to learn and
why we believe that these lessons bear repeating.
Remember that each choice reflects who we are and
where we are on our spiritual journey at that moment in
time. As we move forward along our path we can be
grateful for all of our previous choices because they
provide us with the tools and information that we can
use to make different-not better-choices in the
present. Choose wisely, using the wisdom that you
have gained through your experiences, and choose
well, knowing that you always have the opportunity to
choose again. And choose based on the reality that
you want to create, so the results deliver that reality.
This week, reflect on your life choices and where they
have led you. Be appreciative of the lessons and then
let them go with love and gratitude. Reward yourself for
learning the lessons and be grateful that you always
have another chance to choose.

Bless Your Distractions
When I look back on my life I see what looks like brief
moments of spiritual growth and long intervals filled
with distractions. Each distraction appeared to be a
long period where my life was not going anywhere,
when I appeared to be losing ground on my spiritual
journey. After getting out of each one of those periods,
I felt that I had to make up for 'lost time' so I would
rush into the next experience, anxious to get back on
my path and catch up with my goals and dreams, which
were often left by the wayside while I was off on a
distracted tangent. Of course, I would then find myself
in another period of distraction, which moved me even
farther from my goals. Then I just went around in
circles, moving form one distraction to the next, until I
had forgotten what I was really after and what I really
wanted.
Instead of seeing my distractions as a blessing, I was
seeing them as accidents, unfortunate incidents and
problems that somehow cropped up at the wrong time,
which was generally just as I was getting myself out of
the previous distraction. What the distractions
presented me with was an opportunity to focus on the
issues where I needed healing before I could move
along on my spiritual journey. In trying to get away
from the distractions, I merely prolonged the situation.
Then I created another distraction to further focus on
the lesson. And so on, and so on. Had I taken the time
to stop, learn the lessons and heal myself, I would not
have spent so much time in distraction.
Distractions are not times when we step off of our
path. Instead, they are blessings in disguise, moments
when we are at the peak of our ability to learn and to
heal. They are those times when we come face to face
with ourselves, our lessons and our karma, and can
make quantum leaps in our spiritual growth. But
because they take us from our strong forward
momentum and quite literally, often stop us in our
tracks, we see them as points of failure, times when we
make mistakes in judgment and act in ways that reflect
everything that we want to change about ourselves,
experiencing we thought we had moved beyond. But
this is when we are at the height of our spiritual power,
when we can assimilate the distraction's lessons and
choose what happens next. Then we can move forward
even faster along our spiritual path.
Without distractions, we would not grow spiritually
because we would not have points of comparison
between what we are moving towards and what we no
longer want. When we are in periods of distraction we
are learning and that is what this spiritual journey on
planet Earth is all about. We are in Earth school,
learning lessons and experiencing life at its best. If that
isn't what we want, we can create something else. But
we can't do it without distractions. So bless your
distractions and each person and situation that is part
of them because they are there to teach you a lesson,
to heal your karma, learn more about who you are and
reclaim your power. Then when the next distraction
arises, you have the knowledge and spiritual growth to
decide whether it is something that you choose to do
and whether it fits within the paradigm that you have
set for your life.

Uriel's Message
So much of life today is about hurrying up, experiencing
as much as you can in as little time as possible.
Journeys that once took days or weeks now take
minutes. There is a sense of urgency about everything
in life today that causes you to believe that if you do
not act immediately, you will lose an opportunity. So
you have learned to act first and think later, without
regard to the consequences of your actions. Yes, you
can always make other choices, but why put
yourselves through the trial of having to experience the
same lessons over and over again? You always have
the opportunity, if you choose to take it, to consider
what you are choosing and whether it is really what
you want before you make that decision. And you must
consider the source of your thinking-are you thinking
from the head or from the heart?
When you hurry through your decisions you do not give
yourselves time to consider all available options
because you act out of the first thoughts that come to
your mind. Many of these thoughts arise from your
habitual thinking and fears and come from the ego,
which generates these types of thoughts. And the
results are ego-based, which is why they do not always
reflect your desires. The ego tells you that you must
hurry up or an opportunity will pass you by, or if you do
not take an opportunity then someone else will.
Remember that in the Universe nothing is ever gained or
lost and everything is equal and discernment is key so
the question is not whether a choice must be made,
but whether it is an appropriate choice for you. Your
heart thinking will help you to master this concept.
As you learn to work with the Shift energy, you will
begin to understand how to think from the heart and it
really is not so much a process of learning as it is a
realization that when you work with the Universal flow
there is no sense of urgency, no fear because
everything that is right for you appears without effort.
A kind of synchronicity is created in your life that
creates an answer as soon as, or even before, the
question is asked. So the person that you need to
speak to contacts you before you have to extend the
effort to contact them. Or the item that you need is
given to you or is easily available. You do not have to
extend physical effort to 'make' this happen and indeed,
the act of trying to make it happen is enough to stop
the flow of energy. It is a matter of moving your
thinking from the mind and its fears to the heart, which
does not know fear.
This is such a wonderful time for humanity, a time when
you can become co-creators with the Universe and
create whatever you desire in your lives. As your
emotional energy center moves from the lower chakras
to the heart center, you will learn how to think from
the heart so that each decision, each choice, is made
in the flow of the Universal energy and each one
contributes to the reality that you want to live.
Anything in your lives that is not what you desire or
that has been created with ego-based thinking can be
changed by moving the source of your thoughts to your
heart, where the energy is that of unconditional love.
This will remove the urgency, the fear, the feeling that
what you want eludes you, and help you to live with
peace, joy and the knowing that everything that is true
for you is always within your power to manifest.

Today's Children-Indigos' Hidden Secret
The new article on today's children is now available on
the website. This generation is known by
many names, including Indigo and Crystal Children, Star
Children, Light Children. Whatever name they are known
by, they are a generation that we have never seen
before and they have special needs, gifts and talents.
The Crystal and Indigo children represent the new,
higher energetic patterns that are arriving to change
the Earth's vibrational frequency.This new series
provides information on these children and the
wonderful gifts they bring to the world.
In many of the articles that I write about Indigos and
Crystals, I talk about the responsibilities that we have
towards this generation and here I'm focusing on the
Indigo and Crystal children and to a lesser extent, the
adults who carry this energy. The adult Indigos and
Crystals have experienced their own problems and
issues in dealing with their energy in a world that was,
and still is, unprepared to experience and accept
individuals who did not fit the 'normal' paradigms.
Society is not set up to accommodate those who do
not fit in. We struggled through it and today's children
do too. At some point we have to begin making the
changes that will help them make their lives easier and
set the stage for them to begin their work. But now,
more than ever, that task seems almost impossible. If
society was rigid in the 50s and 60s, it is even more so
now. And the penalties for being 'different' are heavy,
or at least that is what we have been led to believe.
But it is not true and has no power over us, unless we
allow it to. We have to be the change that we want to
see in the world, as Ghandi said, and we have to do it
for ourselves and for the Indigo and Crystal children.
If we are not living our dreams, manifesting our
potential, how can set the example and the energy for
our children to learn how to do it? If we are not the
driving force for change, or at least not supporting
them in their work, how can we expect them to learn to
accept their energy and face their challenges with
courage and conviction? Any journey begins with a
single step and then continues with each additional
step. If the task seems monumental remember that a
single person can effect change, even a small one,
which develops momentum and moves forward with its
own energy. There is support for all lightworkers to
create change and it begins with a thought, a belief
that creates the energy for it to be carried by others
until the movement is so great that the situation
around it has to change.
I often write that it is up to us to help these children
and it is. We who are the parents, grandparents,
relatives and friends of the Indigos and Crystals are in
their lives to be an example, to set the energy for
them, to create the safe space in which they can begin
to experience and understand their talents. Even if we
spend an hour or a day working with them, it is a
beginning point. Indigos and Crystals learn very quickly
and have a vast reservoir of spiritual knowledge and
information to tap into but often need someone to help
them learn how to access it. We do that by setting an
example through what we are doing in our own lives
and supporting them in theirs. They learn by doing and
are not willing to follow the 'do as I tell you, not as I
do' example. These remarkable children can quickly
identify anyone who is not in integrity and will not
hesitate to point it out. Indigos and Crystals can help
us remember our dreams, rekindle our interest in our
life's passion and remind us of who we are and that is
the gift that we will receive by giving the gift of our
energy, love and support to them. If you have the gift
of an Indigo or Crystal child or young adult in your life,
it is your responsibility to help them learn and grow
spiritually and become all that they can be. Do not be
afraid to be that spark that will ignite the fire for them
because that is what we are here to do for them, just
as they are here to remind us of who we are. And
together, we will change the world.
