Beyond the Feelings
In fairy tales happy endings always involve everyone
finding true love, joy and peace, where everything
unfolds such that everyone is blessed with good luck
at
the outcome. But in real life we do not always
experience that. We often have to look very hard, and
sometimes cannot find, the happiness in the ending
and do not feel very joyful about the outcome. In order
to find the happy ending we must often move past our
feelings and go deeper into the learning.
When we use our feelings to judge the outcome of a
situation we keep things on a very low level, from a
spiritual perspective. Our feelings are based on the
past, beliefs and judgments about ourselves and
others. So using our feelings to judge the outcome of
any situation will never yield objective results because
how we feel involves too many variables-who was
involved, our connection to them, how much we value
others' opinions, what we expected and how much of
our self is invested in the situation.
Moving beyond our feelings requires two things-our
ability to take a very broad viewpoint and detachment.
With a broad viewpoint we see everything in its
highest form. Every connection, person and event
becomes part of a process of learning, healing and
understanding. Nothing has emotional meaning and
everything is energy in motion. Detachment removes
our feelings, beliefs, thoughts and perceptions so that
each situation is seen in the overall context of our soul
growth instead of individual situations where we
experience different emotions.
We will experience feelings because that is part of our
human experience but they do not have to be the
central focus. Moving beyond them allows us to learn,
grown and understand the entire experience and view
it from every angle. And we can then create happy
endings in every situation because we are not basing
them on how we feel but on what we have learned,
what lesson we achieved, how we healed and how
the experience has contributed to our soul's growth.
Our happy endings are based on multiple variables
that include all facts of our vibrational energy instead
of simply how we feel. And by creating a happy ending,
we complete our lesson and move forward on our
path with new knowledge and understanding that we
can apply to the next lessons.

ability to view every situation from a higher level and
with detachment that can help us find a happy ending.

Getting Back in the Saddle
Many years ago I was an avid equestrian. I spent every
spare moment riding horses and had begun
competing on a serious level when I lost control of a
horse while riding and was thrown against a tree. The
fall was serious and my recovery lasted over a month.
Then I had trouble resuming the sport although I still
loved it. While I had previously managed to find two to
three hours a day to ride, I now rode only a few times a
week. And even that was difficult. I had not lost my love
of the sport, I had lost my nerve. Every time I rode I
remembered the fear I felt when I was unable to stop
the horse I was riding, the shock and pain of my fall
and even worse, wondering whether the next fall
would be even more serious.
I could not get back into riding with the same
confidence and trust that I had before the fall and did
not know how to overcome my fear, which was
legitimate but was also based on something that had
already happened in the past and had not repeated
itself in the present. Just because I was thrown from a
horse once did not mean that it would happen again.
But it could and that is what I was afraid of. And each
day that went by made it more and more difficult for
me to get back into riding, no matter how much I loved
being around horses.
A sudden and unexpected ending to a relationship
makes it difficult for us to consider putting ourselves at
risk for another heartbreak. The end of a job may
make it difficult for us to look for another one. A
disappointment, betrayal or embarrassment in any
situation can literally stop us in our tracks and we lose
our confidence, trust and faith in ourselves and in the
Universe. How can we get back in the saddle when
we are afraid of repeating the experience? And we
know that is possible-we've been through it once, it
can happen again.
When live in the uncomfortable space of being afraid
of the past and carrying that fear into the present, we
live through the fear of what might happen, could
happen or has the possibility of happening. While our
concerns may be justified, we can use them to make
different choices instead of standing still in fear of
repeating the past. The past is true, it did happen, but
it does not have to become our truth in the present.
We have a choice, as always, to risk getting back in
the saddle, trying once again, or not. The Universe will
not judge us if we don't. But we can use the
information the past has given us to move forward
with the confidence that comes with knowledge and
understanding and make different choices in the
present moment.

Uriel's Message--From Destiny to Power
Every person in your life has a purpose that is
centered in helping you achieve your soul growth for
this lifetime. Some of you have already surpassed
what you came to do and are in new and different
patterns. These patterns are unfamiliar and often
confusing because you have never experienced them
before, so you do not know how to proceed. You have
moved from the energy of destiny, where your life is
shaped by your karmic history and its lessons, to
power, where you are self-reliant and able to create
the lessons that you want to experience. You are now
in charge of your own healing and can choose how
you will create that process.
Those who have helped you learn your lessons in the
past may no longer be part of your experience. You
have graduated from dependence to reliance, from
having others step in to help you with your lessons to
creating them for yourself. Lessons no longer have to
be a surprise; they no longer have to come through
painful experiences. You can be both the student and
the observer, watching the patterns unfold, being
aware of what is happening around you and stopping
and starting the process as you manage and direct
your lessons, instead of being controlled by them.
The energy of the planet is shifting from destiny to
power in alignment with what is happening for each of
you. You are part of the whole and everything you
experience on an individual level is also experienced
by all of humanity. The confusion and doubt you feel
about how to use the power that is available to you
stems from your being unfamiliar with being in control.
While this has always been available to you, your
willingness to connect to Source, accept your power
and use it has created this as a possibility for each of
you.
Destiny has controlled your history for many lifetimes;
now it is time for you to step into power. What do you
want to do now? What is your greatest dream, your
fondest wish, for yourself and for humanity? This is
the moment you have been waiting for, the time for you
to create miracles and the time for you to focus on
creating peace on earth, joy for all and unconditional
love as the guiding force. You have been waiting for
this moment and it is here. Use your power to create a
life of effortless flow, to help shift the energy of the
planet into a higher vibration of peace, joy and
unconditional love. And to help all shift their
perspective from powerlessness against the forces of
destiny to power and control over their reality.

Today's Children--Indigos on the Other Side
So many of you have written to me this past week,
describing Indigo friends and children who have
committed suicide and now contact you from the other
side. Many of you wish that you had been able to help
them make different choices, some feel that you did
not do or know enough and could have somehow
affected their decisions. Many parents write of their
sadness over the loss of their children. As a parent
who has experienced this process my heart goes out
to you. There is nothing more painful than the loss of a
child. But many Indigos have chosen and are
choosing suicide because they do not know what else
to do.
Some Indigos believe that suicide is the only way that
they can make a statement or make a difference. They
feel that this is their way of being accepted and
remembered. In their own way, they feel that if they
cannot be heard while they are living, they will be
heard after they die. Suicide is a way of expressing
their pain and frustration over not being able to
function as they wish they could. While they were
blessed with many gifts, they are not particularly
patient and their lack of self confidence makes it hard
for them to move past any rejections they experience,
and they can experience many.
So what do we do? How can we convince them that it
is by staying here, by developing a network of people
who love and support them and who will help them
stay on track that they can fulfill their mission? And
what about those who have already crossed over?
Some of them are working from the other side. Those
who have passed on are connecting with family and
friends, reminding them that they are still available on
a spiritual level, even though they are not here
physically. Some are working with Indigos who are in
danger of suicide, reminding them that it is not the
only option.
Some of the Indigos I have connected with have told
me that they realized, in their final moment, that they
had other options or choices available to them. They
also understood that part of their learning involved
experiencing the energies they had to change and that
this would not last forever, even though it felt that way.
Many regret their choices and the pain they have
caused. Some feel that they can work with us more
effectively from the world of spirit. Many will return
because the world needs them and they will come
when they are ready. If you have a friend or child who
has committed suicide, they are still around you. You
can re-connect to them through meditation and prayer
and work with them, whether that is through writing,
sharing your story, helping other Indigos or doing
whatever you are guided to do. These are our children,
whether or not we are their biological parents and it is
up to all of us to help guide this generation through
their difficult times and show them that there are many
options available to them and that suicide is not the
only answer.
