Happy new year! We held the
energy of 2009 until its final moment and now it is over. The
2010 predictions are now up and you can read them here.
This month's article is entitled A Purposeful
Life. What is our purpose in life, why are we here
and what are we supposed to do? We each want to know our
purpose, which we believe will answers these questions and
guide us on the best and right path. But our purpose is not
some grand and glorious thing we will do in the future. It is
happening within each moment and we are always in our purpose.
- What do we believe about our purpose? What do you
think the word 'believe' means? It is an instruction,
that we have to ' be' to 'live'. Read about it in

Be and
Live
As I was preparing to write this article, I kept writing
the word 'believe' on a piece of paper. And then I saw that
that there were two words there which explain everything about
our purpose, why we are here, what we need to do and how we
can live a life that is on purpose, purposeful and in
fulfillment of our purpose. We need to believe but do so not
in the sense of accepting everything we are told. We need to
'be' to 'live'.
Our teacher Jesus used the word 'believe' in many of
his teachings and I wonder if the word was mistranslated,
misinterpreted and misused in the many translations of the
messages. The real instruction behind the world 'believe' is
to 'be' to 'live'. That gives our life purpose an entirely new
definition. Instead of living and then judging ourselves by
the results we achieve in life, what if we put ourselves out
there as we are, in all of our power and glory, and then
created a life that reflected that back to us? What would our
life look like?
So often we judge ourselves by the results we achieve
in life and since the results are usually less than stellar
because we are on the 'healing' track and attracting every
negative situation we can in order to get our power back, we
go through life living our karma in order to become who we
are. Do we have it backwards? What if we could connect to our
power first, by 'being' and then create our life from that
point of power? How powerful can we allow ourselves to be? If
we look at every situation as a challenge to 'be' they take on
an entirely different meaning.
Nothing in our life has power over us other than what
we give it. Think about that for a moment. In every situation
we are either giving our power away or remembering how
powerful we are. We are very supported by the energies in our
transformation right now, so whether we are ready for it or
not, opportunities to learn, heal, grow and ascend are
everywhere. Think of one challenging situation in your life
that you feel is robbing you of your power. How much of your
power are you willing to give it? When you shift that
thinking, you change the power structure. Each situation is an
invitation for us to 'be'-strong, powerful, centered,
grounded, committed to our soul's growth and ready to create a
new purpose that comes with being willing to overcome, to 'be'
and then create our life from our
being.

The Energies of May
Well, another month has gone by in a year that seems to
be going by so quickly that it's hard to keep up. Linear time
is collapsing into universal time where all things happen
simultaneously and we are integrating other aspects of
ourselves into this reality. Where are we grounded and
functioning? It's hard to say because what our current reality
looks like is based on our thoughts in this moment. If we want
to change it, all we have to do is change our thoughts and set
an intention for being somewhere else. Get ready for this
phase of our ascension because it's happening now. May
is going to be a fantastic month with lots of movement,
guidance and action.
April was a frustrating month because during the
entire month we were challenged to be clear about what we
wanted. And if we did not know what that was, everything that
was not in alignment with our intention simply did not work.
Rather than being frustrated, quitting and getting depressed
or angry, we needed to reflect on what was happening and to
change our direction. In many ways April felt like the
irresistible force meeting the immovable object. In May the
objects begin to move and we will learn about moving energy,
alignment and being the force in our lives.
May opens with Mercury retrograde until May 11, so
things may move a little slowly during the first half of the
month. This Mercury retrograde is in Taurus and is about
value-what do we value, what is valuable to us and where we
value ourselves. When we put ourselves first and hold on to
the thought that we are valuable and worthy, we create what we
want in our lives. When we are willing to settle, to put
others' needs and desires before ours, we sell ourselves short
and block our growth. Are we willing to be selfish? That is
going to be May's challenge.
If we are able to stand firm in our dreams, May will
be a fantastic month. Lots of movement and things finally
getting unstuck. Five of my family members are moving this
month, an indication of how much energy is waiting to be
moved. And that is exactly how we have to see it. The energy
is waiting to be moved, we have to be the 'movers.' Where do
you want the energy to move in your life and what are you
willing to release, accept, transform and acknowledge to make
it happen? It's all about us this month, whatever we want is
what is available to us. All we have to do is claim it, own it
and receive. Let this be your best month this year by standing
in your power and acknowledging that you are worthy of the
best that the Universe can give you. Have a wonderful
month.

Uriel's
Message -- Forgive First, Speak Second
There are countless levels of energy in the third
dimension, each of them has a purpose and a place in the grand
plan of ascension. Even though you have chosen the level at
which you will function, there are many levels that will wish
to interact with you. Some of them will be challenging and
will bring forth anger and hurt. Others will be supportive and
will confirm your growth and healing. When you choose to walk
the path of ascension you stand in unconditional love that
allows you to respond to every energy with forgiveness, before
you speak.
By extending forgiveness to each person and
situation, you are accepting everything in its state of
divinity and acknowledging your role as creator of your
reality. Nothing 'happens' to you and there are no accidents
or challenges you face which you did not create for your
learning and healing. Yet you are tempted to attack those who
challenge you, believing that it is their responsibility to
treat you with kindness and respect. But each person connects
with you at the energy level they are comfortable with, not
the one you desire.
Those who are in fear wish to maintain their fear
level and bring you to that level. When you extend forgiveness
you respond to their fear with love and allow them to know
that energy. This allows them to choose it for themselves
because you have awakened them to the possibility of
ascension through your forgiveness. In this way you
control the energies you allow in your reality. After you
extend forgiveness, you can speak or interact from your most
powerful self and deflect any lower level energies that have
been directed to you. Without forgiveness, you can feel hurt
and angry. With forgiveness, you extend compassion and stay in
your own power.
There are times when you will be tested by those who
wish to experience your light but who can only do so at their
level. The person who attacks you is acting from their level
of anger and frustration and reflecting their level of self
love. You can respond to them through their anger or from your
position of power. By extending forgiveness you remove the
cords to every connection you have at the level of fear and
maintain control over the ego's desire for validation. Before
you speak, forgive those who hurt or challenge you, any
situation of lack or fear and every experience of pain. Then
you can allow your words to come from the place of light where
love exists and stay in your power.

Some children who are being born now are first time
children, they have never been on the planet before, never
experienced emotions or drama and never tried to exist in the
density of the third dimensions. These children do not have
karma although they do have some soul group connections with
their families. They can now enter the third dimension because
the energies are high enough that they can make energetic
connections with the people who will be their parents and
guides. But there are some interesting aspects of their lives
that are quite different from those of previous
generations.
In the past ten years it is commonplace for unmarried
women to keep their children. Or for older women to step into
motherhood, single women to adopt children and for children to
be raised by guardians or grandparents. The idea that
the biological parents are the best for the child has been
replaced with the concept that a child should be raised by the
person who can provide the best nurturing and care. These
children choose parents who will give them the support they
need, not from their karma or soul healing because that is not
their purpose. They are here to bring new light and energy, as
well as to be in place for the new earth paradigms.
These new children cannot cope with drama, pain or
suffering and yet some of them do, before they are placed with
those who will become their parents. They do not connect on an
emotional love but from a place that has a high love energy,
beyond the emotions. They tend to be very observant, quiet and
undemanding, yet they have the ability to create the best
possible care situations for themselves. And they do, so that
the person who becomes their parent will nurture their spirit,
as well as their physical body.
You can notice these 'first time' children by their
eyes, which are usually large and luminous. And when they look
at someone, they study them carefully. They notice everything
and everyone although they may not react, they take in all of
the information they need. You can practice telepathy with
them, because they are more comfortable with this method of
communication, and hold them in love, because that helps them
stay grounded. When you see one of these children, extend a
welcome because they need to know who they can connect with
and who sees their light. And don't be surprised if they find
you, because they need to be with their soul families and
those who know who they are and will create space for them.
