Being Your Own Story
When we learn how to 'be' ourselves we find our power
and gain control over how our reality unfolds. With a
focus on 'being' instead of 'doing' we can open the door
to possibilities that allow us to find our passion, to live
our own dreams. This process doesn't happen overnight
(although the desire to do it can) and it can be a rude
awakening when we are faced with what we have
developed to survive or to cope with our life situations.
As with any shift in energy, we have to see what 'is'
before we can create something different. Our survival
mechanisms have a purpose-they keep us safe. But
they are based on adapting to others' demands and
expectations and from them, we create a life story, a
focus for our reality that does not mirror who we are,
our central Being. When we learn to be ourselves, we
create our own story, which allows our reality to unfold
in a way that reflects our highest good. First, though,
we must unravel our other life stories and discover the
theme, central characters and find a resolution.
Of course, we never intentionally create a life story
based on someone else's version of what we should be.
And no one ever forces us to do that, at least not in a
conscious sense. From our desire to be acknowledged,
accepted and loved by others, we create a way of
being that we hope will deliver this result. Often, it
doesn't work and instead of abandoning our efforts, we
just try harder until we are forced into acknowledging
the truth-we have focused our efforts on being what
we believe others want us to be. It is at that moment
that we are the most powerful, because it is at that
moment when we have the choice to either continue or
to change.
The process of changing our way of being is not an
easy one because we have to face our deepest fears
that surround our desire to be loved and accepted and
decide whether that is still valid for us. Do we care if
others can't accept us for who we are? Are we willing
to take a step in other directions, to discover who we
really are and to adopt that as the focus of our reality?
Are we brave enough to face the disruptions that this
change will cause (and there will be disruptions) in our
lives? Finally, are we willing to embrace the possibility
that we can lead lives full of joy and abundance even if
others around us are still stuck in their own realities of
lack and unhappiness?
It takes courage to be happy in a world where the
belief is that happiness is a reward that is always out
of reach. It also takes courage to have abundance, and
not just in the material sense, in a world that believes
that abundance is a reward that only a few deserve.
When we face ourselves and acknowledge our own
greatness, we are provided with the experiences that
we need to create our own life story, one that puts us
in a place of power, where we accept responsibility for
our reality and all of the good that is available to us.
Learning how to 'be' ourselves is an evolving process
with its own rewards, a chance to create this as a
possibility for our lives and then lead the way for
others. As you go through your own life stories, do so
without blame, criticism or judgment. Whatever you did
in the past was based on the past's parameters for
beliefs and behavior. This is today, the present
moment, and all you have to ask yourself is: is this
story still valid for me, do I want to continue to do this
and what else is possible. Then allow Spirit to guide you
to the answers. For more information about how we

Blessings to you all!
The April article is posted on the Uriel Heals
website and this month's message is about how to 'be
more and do less.' We often adjust who we are to meet
the demands and expectations of others. This alters
our life story to such a degree that it changes our
state of 'being.' What this means and how we can
change it is the focus of this week's article.
This week's Today's Children article addresses how
Adult Indigos are being challenged to prepare the new
paradigm for the incoming generations and how they
can work with these opportunities...

Whose Star are you Following?
Everything in our lives has a purpose and direction and
we are all moving along a path towards spiritual healing
and reconnection with our Source. Along our path, we
will have teachers and mentors, people whose purpose
is to help us along our path. That motion is always
forward, even if it at times appears to be going
backwards. Each experience in which we learn moves
us along our path and provides us with spiritual
knowledge and understanding. But when we believe
that a teacher is more knowing, more powerful or more
connected than we are, we are in danger of 'following
someone else's star' and believing that we need
this person in our lives for our continuing spiritual
enlightenment. This opens the door to a lesson with
them that will show us that we need to trust our own
intuition and guidance and that nothing is more
powerful or reliable than our own internal compass,
which is our own connection to the Source.
In today's world, we all follow some social trend, leader
or influence. Whether it is in the world of fashion,
music, politics, religion or business, a new 'guru'
emerges nearly every day. The purpose of this, in third
dimensional reality, is to make us doubt our own
abilities and our own truth. If everyone expressed their
own skills and abilities, there would be no need for
leaders because we would all be equal. But we would
also live in a much different world. And while that model
is changing, it is still generally accepted that in order to
be 'cool' and accepted, we must dress, act and think
like the currently popular leader. That is, until that
person is replaced with another and then we all change
our thinking and beliefs to follow the next trend.
But when we forego our own path or thinking to
emulate another, we place ourselves in danger of going
off of our path and of facing difficult lessons whose
purpose is to show us that we are the only 'star' that
we need in our lives, and that our only true guidance
comes from within ourselves, as long as we maintain
our connection to the Source. These lessons can
include disappointment, betrayal, loss or abandonment.
And their singular message is simple, trust yourself and
know that you are the best thing in your life, no matter
how good something or someone else may look at that
moment.
Being an individual, a 'star' in our own life, is not the
popular trend in the world. But as we move through the
Shift and those things on which we once placed our
focus are removed from us, or turn out to be different
than we expected, we will all, in one way or another,
come to terms with our own special qualities, our own
greatness. No one in the world is more special,
wonderful, gifted or connected than we are. No one
has our unique gifts, talents and abilities and is able to
exhibit them as well as we can. Whether we connect
with one person or one million people, each of us is
here to fulfill a special purpose and our only task is to
focus on being the 'star' that we are so that we can
believe in our own abilities and fulfill our life purpose.
Tell yourself, each morning, that you believe in your
own stardom, your own gifts and watch the miracles
unfold around you as you step into your own greatness.

Uriel's Message
Do you spend your time trying to 'do good' so that you
will eventually be rewarded for your efforts? Do you
hope that you will eventually reach a 'promised land'
where life will be easier, less stressful, more joyful? Are
you so focused on that 'other' place that you spend
time wishing and hoping that you were there? The Shift
will open the concept of multi-dimensional reality to you
and make you aware of the many different worlds that
exist simultaneously with your perceived reality, all of
which are available to you. But what is more important
for you to realize is that your promised land, your
nirvana, is right where you are, at any moment in time.
If it is unpleasant, uncomfortable or disagreeable, you
have to change it. If you were sleeping and were
awakened because you were cold, would you not put a
blanket on your bed? If you are hungry, do you not
stop to eat? When you are thirsty, do you not drink?
These appear to be simple acts to you and yet they
are very profound, for when something in your physical
reality is unsuitable to you, you take immediate steps
to change it. And it is so simple to take those actions
and to transfer them to your emotional and spiritual
reality. And yet, many of you do not appear to see the
simplicity of this concept because it is non-physical-
you cannot 'see' the spiritual world as you do the
physical and in your emotional reality, removing yourself
from a painful situation is not as easy as putting on a
jacket when you are cold. Yet, these concepts are
related and they are actually the same thing.
When you embrace the Shift energy you will realize
that everything in the Universe is related and all matter
is simply energy that is transformed through intention.
It is your Will, the part of you that is ruled by the mind
and the ego, which has control over the Universal
energy. When you learn to stand in your power the
simplicity of this process becomes clear and then
instead of using your 'will's power,' or willpower to
create undesirable or painful realities, you will use it to
create more harmonious and beneficial situations. Each
situation in your life has a purpose-it teaches you a
lesson. As you learn the lessons and embrace their
teachings, they are no longer useful to you and you
can let them go. This is the natural process of growth
and learning without letting go of what no longer suits
you is what keeps you stuck in situations that make
you feel powerless, or without power.
The spiritual realm is aware of how hard you are all
working to change this and is there to provide
assistance, when you ask for it. For it is your Will that
governs material reality and when you are 'willing' to
change, when you subject your will's power to your
spiritual Self, you can work miracles, for that is how
powerful you are. Be at peace and know that nirvana,
or heaven, exists in the present moment. It is not some
far-away place that you can only achieve when you die
and is always available to you. Focus on what you
want to exist in your reality and allow the Universe to
bless you with results that will exceed all of your
expectations. Embrace the simplicity of life, of energy
and of the Spirit, for it is in understanding the simplicity
of life that you step into your true Self and know your
true power.

Today's Children-Changing the Paradigm
The new article on today's children is now available on
the website. This generation is known by
many names, including Indigo and Crystal Children, Star
Children, Light Children. Whatever name they are known
by, they are a generation that we have never seen
before and they have special needs, gifts and talents.
The Crystal and Indigo children represent the new,
higher energetic patterns that are arriving to change
the Earth's vibrational frequency.This new series
provides information on these children and the
wonderful gifts they bring to the world.
Adult Indigos and Crystals are facing a dilemma-what
are they going to do with the rest of their lives. Many
of them are in their early to mid 40s and have faced
one or more layoffs, have perhaps changed career
directions several times and are now feeling stuck.
Everything that they prepared for in college and the
early part of their career seems to have led them down
the wrong path. Some are even facing a financial crisis
that they are unprepared for. We were all taught that if
we go to college and work hard, we will be securely and
continuously employed and retire by age 65. All of that
has changed.
This dilemma is faced by many lightworkers today, who
find the corporate model too difficult to operate in but
who have no other alternatives available to them to
support their lifestyle. What are they to do? While
lightworkers are here to change the paradigms, they
have been doing it through other means, focusing on
spiritual development and building their spiritual power,
outside of the corporate arena. While there is comfort
in being with like-minded people, that phase of our
spiritual growth appears to have reached a pinnacle.
We are now equipped to change the paradigms we
came here to change, as Adult Crystals and Indigos, to
prepare the way for the new generations. Now,
however, we have the power to do so in our own way,
from a position of strength and in a way that allows us
to stand strong in our spiritual power.
The time has come to change the corporate paradigm
and, as my guides tell me, it is time for us to move
back into the corporate world and change the paradigm
from within. We will do this in a way that holds open
the space for light, integrity and truth, without getting
involved in the drama and chaos. While they may exist
around us, we do not have to become part of them. If
you find that those doors are beginning to open for you
to return to the corporate world, as they have in my
experience, do not be afraid to walk through them.
With the shifting energy, more opportunities are
opening for lightworkers to bring the new energy into
areas in which they are lacking. This is our task, as the
pioneer Indigo and Crystal energies, so that we can
show our Indigo and Crystal children how it is done-
how to be 'in the world but not of the world.' Just as
the Indigo and Crystal children are forcing changes in
their environment, we must create a work environment
in which they have access to mentors and to like-
minded souls. Move forward with confidence into
opportunities that open for you, stand in your power,
secure in the knowledge that the Universe will provide
you with experiences that are right for you and that will
utilize the tools and knowledge that you have gained as
you developed your spiritual power. We are preparing
the way for the next generations of workers and this is
how we will be there for them.
