What Pushes Your Buttons?
The path of least resistance is one that we can learn
to take and make our spiritual journey easier. But we
often confuse less resistance with fewer lessons,
issues and problems. That is not always the case.
The path of least resistance is the path where we
resist less and are more prepared to be in a state of
surrender, learning and acceptance. Sometimes
when we choose it we really get our buttons pushed
as we are shown where we need to heal and
transform. How we react or respond to these
situations determines whether our path will be easy or
hard and provides insight into our places of
resistance and thus the lessons we must learn.
No matter how far along we are on our spiritual
journey we will have situations that 'push our buttons',
those situations that make us angry, afraid, where our
feelings are hurt, where we experience
disappointment, betrayal, sadness or pain. Each of
these situations alerts us to a 'point of pain', an area
where our soul has contracted to heal and grow.
Without this knowledge, we see these situations as
stumbling blocks and confirmation that we are wrong,
less than perfect, undeserving of love or joy.
I often tell clients that there are no shortcuts through
the process and it's true, we can't avoid lessons or
learning. What we can do is meet them head on,
anticipating the learning that they have for us. Every
situation where our buttons are pushed is an
opportunity for us to experience quantum leaps on our
journey. Can we see past our own fear and step into
the healing? Are we able to resist the urge to take the
emotional path and see what spirit is offering us? Can
we stop resisting and allow ourselves to be in a state
of appreciation for the gift of healing, even if it means
that our buttons are pushed to their limit in the
process?
If we are looking for an easier ride through life, we
won't find it on the spiritual path. What we will find is
peace and joy when we understand where our points
of pain exist and learn to stop resisting these lessons
and discover their source so we can apply healing.
Each situation has a blessing which may be wrapped
in a very painful experience. These painful
experiences arise as situations where our buttons are
pushed and we have to deal with people, situations
and emotions we would rather not deal with. But with
the blessing comes the peace and love that we are
looking for. What pushes your buttons? Move past the
emotions and find the blessing of learning, which will
bring you peace, joy and the unconditional love that
you are looking for and set out on the path of least
resistance.

Happy Easter
We celebrated Easter yesterday and although it is
predominately a Christian holy day, it is recognized by
many as an important aspect of the spiritual path. To
some it's about Easter candy and hard-boiled eggs, to
others it is a reminder that there is the promise of
transformation, healing and enlightenment on our
journey. Jesus came to bring a message of
enlightenment and awakening to the world and the
energy that he brought is still with us. In many ways,
each of our lives mirrors his experience, the
challenges of the crucifixion and the overcoming that
is the resurrection. This is available to all of us, all of
the time.
As Lightworkers how many of us have experienced
our own symbolic crucifixion during this time of
changing energies, vibrational shifts and working
through our soul contracts. Because we work on dual
levels, both in our lives and we transmute energy on a
planetary level, our experiences can seem to be more
difficult, intense and exhausting that those of others.
Like Jesus, we have come to bring enlightenment,
awakening and healing to the world. And each Easter
is a reminder to us that there is an end to our journey,
that we have the ability to transcend our human
experience and move into higher levels of being.
Easter is a reminder of the spiritual principles that
govern our lives, whether we are in awareness of
them or not. Each healing experience follows the
same process, where we face difficult challenges
whose purpose is to bring us to the place where we
must allow fear to be replaced with unconditional love.
This is our crucifixion and it can take many forms but
each of them has the same purpose, to surrender our
free will and ego to the Source, accept healing and
bring the spiritual and material worlds into balance.
Each time we feel that we can't go on, can't take any
more or just want to quit, we are going through our
own personal crucifixion. At the last moment we find
something that gives us the strength to recover and
move on. Each of these experiences represents an
ascension process for us, if can remember that there
is always resurrection after the crucifixion. I know the
journey has been difficult for many of us and it is not
quite over yet, but we have the promise of resurrection
and ascension to remind us that we are here for a
purpose and there is always a solution to every
difficulty.

Uriel's Message--Living in Integrity
Every situation is an opportunity to ascend to your
Highest Good. Each experience brings you to an
awareness of your potential and your level of integrity
with it. When you are out of integrity your reality is out
of balance with your potential. You know that this is
happening when you feel lost, confused, hopeless,
depressed, anxious and afraid. You regret the past
and fear the future, you forget that you have the power
to transform your life and create the life your heart
longs for.
Many people are out of integrity when they wish for one
thing while doing another. There is a gap between
what they desire and what they actually manifest. They
hope for change but are afraid to create it. No one can
live in this way of being for long and the Shift is putting
pressure on everyone to step into their potential, to
move past their fears and to be in integrity with their
Highest Good.
Everything in your life is an opportunity to manifest
your Highest Good. The most difficult experiences
occur when you are out of integrity, when you are not
using your power to create but are allowing yourself to
walk the middle ground. There is no more middle
ground, everyone must be in the light or not, to be fully
in their power or not. Everyone must now be willing to
step into the flow, to follow Universal law and to co-
create with it. Everyone is experiencing the full effects
of their creative ability and the when the results are
difficult it is a reflection of their level of integrity with
their Highest Good, their power and their potential.
So much energy is shifting at this time, the vibrations
are speeding up and everything is moving more
quickly. You are living in the time of instant
manifestation, the Universe is bringing to you the
results of every thought, word and emotion. When you
are out of integrity with your Self you will see the
results as lack of abundance and fear. Moving into
integrity means releasing your fears and doubts and
allowing the Universe to work on your behalf. It is
always there to support and guide you, to bring you
your heart's desire but you must be willing to work
with it and have faith in it, yourself and in your power.
Use this time to create fearlessly and you will have the
peace, joy, abundance and every good thing that you
desire.

Today's Children--The Dark Side of Indigos
In the past two days I have heard of three tragic
incidents involving Indigos, one of them a murder. All
of the young adults had been experiencing severe
depression and drug addiction that had not been
noticed or treated. They could have sought help but
most Indigos don't ask for help when they need it and
will even reject help when it is offered. It is hard to help
an Indigo who doesn't want it but in these cases the
parents were so overwhelmed by their children's
issues that they chose to ignore them and tried to
pretend they didn't exist.
All of these incidents could have been prevented if the
parents had been more aware and more attuned to
their children's needs and had been paying attention. I
know all of the families personally and had tried to
talk to them about their children and the Indigo energy
but the parents were not interested. They were too
busy, thought that their children were old enough to be
on their own and handle their own problems and were
tired of dealing with their them. The outcome may
have been different if the parents had been more
willing to understand that their children, although they
were young adults, still needed support and attention.
As I have written before, Indigos are very attracted to
drugs and alcohol and become addicted quite easily.
Since they turn to these substances when they are
depressed or feeling lost and use them to hide from
what they are feeling, it is easy for them to misuse
them. And they bring out the worst of their
personalities and can create a dangerous situation
where feelings that have been bottled up become
anger and rage. Then they are out of control and
anything can happen. The energy shifts that we are all
experiencing are felt very strongly by Indigos and they
don't always react to them very well. With them, a
depressed Indigo can sink further into depression
and if they have addiction problems, will also go
further into their addiction to find relief.
The shock of these situations is still settling and the
families will now be dealing with issues that they
could have avoided had they been willing to
understand Indigos. While we know about the
amazing energy, gifts and talents of the Indigos there
is a dark side to their energy that seems to come out
when they use drugs and alcohol. I noticed it in my
own Indigo son-he became a different person when
he was addicted. Indigos need our help and support
even after they reach adulthood and even if they don't
ask for help, they can show warning signs that they
are in a dangerous spiral that can result in tragedy.
The energy shifts create the same confusion in them
as they do in us and when added to what they are
feeling can be unmanageable without help. We can
prevent this by paying attention, communicating, and
being aware of the danger signs. Three families' lives
have been irrevocably changed this weekend, one of
whom will bury their son next week. Things may have
been different if they had been paying attention and
been willing to be more supportive.
