Co-Creating Abundance
When we hear the word abundance we immediately
think of money and material goods. If I were to
announce a course on creating abundance everyone
who signed up for it would think that if they took the
course they would be able to solve all of their financial
problems. And that is partly true, but the one thing that
I would stress is that we co-create abundance and
abundance is not just about money. We co-create
every kind of abundance in our lives, from sadness to
poor health to good health, joy and money. We are
working with the Universe at all times, co-creating
every aspect of our life and what we have an
abundance of depends on four things: what we have,
what we want and what we ask for and how we ask.
When there is a huge difference between what we
have and what we want we believe we must be doing
the wrong thing or be truly unlucky. After all, if we walk
a spiritual path, shouldn't the Universe bless us with
abundance? Doesn't walking the spiritual path mean
we will be blessed? We will, but first we must learn
the principle of co-creation, which says that everything
that is in our reality we created with the energy of our
thoughts and intentions.
What do you ask the Universe for? More money, a
better job, a relationship, a more joyful life? And then
what do you do? How do you ask for it? Do you beg
and plead or do you ask with authority? The results
are in motion before we finish our thought, so if we
don't have it's not the Universe that isn't working on
our behalf. When doors open, we must be willing to
walk through them. And we are powerful beyond our
comprehension, we when we ask with authority, we
affirm our right to have abundance in all good and
wonderful things.
If you're tired of being poor, stop telling the Universe
how tired you are of being poor. That just gives you
more of what you don't want. The principle of co-
creation works with every thought, word and action. If
you're poor, lonely, not happy in your career, or just
want a different life, you have co-created abundance in
many things that you no longer want. Focus your
thoughts on what you do want and ask powerfully.
Remember that it is a process of co-creation, you and
the Universe working together to create heaven on
earth for yourself.

The Power of Self-Sabotage
When I work with clients in readings and coaching
programs, one thing that we focus on is how they self-
sabotage or work against themselves. Everyone does
this in different ways but the result is always the
same, they can't manifest what they want, despite all
of their efforts. Whether the sabotage exists in the
negative messages they give themselves, their beliefs
or their inability to act, self-sabotage is at work when
we can't seem to move forward.
Sabotage is often subtle and expresses itself in ways
that are so familiar to us that we are not even aware
that it exists. One of my clients would really like to get
married but is afraid of losing her power in
relationships, so she sabotages her efforts by
choosing men who won't commit and leave after a few
months. Another client wants to build a healing center
but her belief that she is not a good business person
does not allow her to start. These are a few examples
of self-sabotage at work.
Self-sabotage prevents us from obtaining results,
even though we feel that we are trying our best and
making every effort to manifest what we want. Until we
understand how self-sabotage works in our life we
will work hard and get to a certain point and then
everything stops. It is often a pattern that repeats itself
many times. If we can view the situation with
detachment, we can see at which point sabotage
kicks in. But we self-sabotage things that are very
important to us, so we are often too upset,
disappointed, angry or hurt to see that we have
caused this and understand how it has happened.
At the root of all self-sabotage is fear, usually based
on past experiences. The fear can be small or large, it
can its have beginnings in a careless message from
someone else. As a child I became very ill after I fell
trying to ride my sister's tricycle, which I really wanted
to do. My parents reminded me constantly that I nearly
died because of that action. And for many years I
believed that if I went after I wanted I would die. So
while I worked hard to manifest what I wanted, I made
sure that I never met my goals. Self-sabotage ceases
to be a problem once we are aware of it and see it for
what it is. Once we do that we can move past it and
manifest what we want without sabotaging our efforts.

Uriel's Message--What Do You Expect of Others?
You have expectations of the people in your life, that
they will treat you honorably, respect you and
appreciate your efforts. You can expect them to return
favors, be there for you and support you. You can
expect them to be kind, thoughtful and loving. And
sometimes they do but often they do not. When you
have expectations of others it seems that they often do
their best to not meet your expectations. That is
because having expectations of others is something
you do to meet your own needs.
When you need love, acceptance or confirmation of
your value, you look to others to give that to you. But
since you are not aware of this for yourself, you find
people who mirror your lack of your self-worth to you.
Instead of finding someone who honors and respects
you, you will find betrayal. Instead of finding love, you
may find someone who takes advantage of you. It is
not that you are not worthy of these things, but that
others cannot give to you until you learn to give to
yourself first.
Your expectations of others come from your own fears
of not being worthy. But since you approach them from
your fears, you find people who mirror your fears back
to you. And they respond to you from their fear. Your
interactions with others are on two levels, the material
level where you see and speak to them and an
energetic level where you connect to whatever energy
each of you has at that moment. On the material level
you can hide your fears and pretend that everything is
OK. But on the energetic level, nothing is hidden and if
fear is present, it is the first point of connection.
It is best to simply know that everyone in your life
responds to you in the best, most honorable and
perfect way. When you create that energy in your life,
you have no expectations and approach all of your
interactions without fear. Without fear, you have no
need for validation, no need for anyone to remind you
that you are good enough. Without fear, your
interactions with others are at the highest energetic
levels, so there is no fear connection point. And when
you have no expectations of others everyone will
mirror back to you the perfection that you acknowledge
in yourself.

Today's Children--What to do with Adult Crystal Energy
I hear from many adult Crystals, those who are now in
their late 40s and early 50s, and their questions and
stories sound very much alike. Many have never
married or had children, many are frustrated artists,
musicians, dancers and writers who are doing
everything but what they really want to do. They all
have a gentle energy that makes them feel out of
place in today's fast-paced, competitive world. And
they don't feel that they can make a living doing what
they want to do, so they stay in the background and do
what they can.
Adult Crystals are highly creative and when they allow
their creative energy to shine, they are truly wonderful.
But they don't have the drive or passion that Indigos
possess so they wait for opportunities to find them.
They have many unfulfilled dreams and expectations
and just don't know how to make them happen. While
they needed to grow up with parents who could see
past their fears and recognize their gifts, many of them
were raised by strict, demanding and often insensitive
parents who ignored their needs and pushed them
into careers that they were totally unsuited for.
Many adult Crystals work in jobs where they help
others and their calm, compassionate and kind
energy is well suited to that kind of work. But they also
need to find an outlet for their creative side, whether
that is taking a class or creating time to explore their
creativity. Some simply need guidance to help them
find a way to blend their gifts with what they do. There
are so many opportunities available to all of us once
we let go of what we believe will work and focus on
what we want to do. Then all kinds of doors can open
up.
One of my clients is a wonderful and compassionate
adult Crystal who is also a nurse. Her dream is to
travel and during a session I told her that she could
get a job as a nurse working for tours or cruise ships,
combining her skills and dreams. She was ecstatic
and began to immediately research those
opportunities. The shift in her energy was amazing
and she realized that she could fulfill her dreams
through her work. That applies to all adult Crystals.
The world needs the compassion and creativity that
are your special gifts. And there are ways to do exactly
what you want. So, remind yourself of your dreams
and tell the Universe you're ready. It will open the
doors of opportunity that you can walk through to
manifest the life you want.
