This month's article is entitled The Healing Journey and it has been our story as we enter lifetime after lifetime to heal our wounds. Yet as with everything else that is shifting with our new energetic paradigms, how we heal, what we are healing and who we heal with are all changing. Healing is the purpose of our journey. Until we accomplish this it is difficult to connect with the other possibilities that we know are available. Read more in this week's article. As healers we have much to do and we must learn to make choices about how we will use our energy in ways that ensure that we are taking care of ourselves. Living the Purpose

Each of our lifetimes is a healing journey, another opportunity to experience the learning our life lessons have for us, to heal our soul wounds and transcend their pain into mastery, transforming our humanity into reconnection with our divine heritage and ascending into higher levels of being. This is the purpose of each lifetime and every aspect of our life will be focused on that purpose. It is the most important thing we can do, for ourselves, our soul group and the planet.

Until the many permutations of karma are healed, forgiven and concluded, healing is the purpose of each person's journey. That is why so many Lightworkers have gathered at this time, why the Indigos and Crystals are present and more highly evolved generations of children are being born. This is the end of an era for humanity, a time when healing and transformation are not only possible but so much has been put into place to ensure that it happens.

Those who feel they have another purpose are seeing what is possible beyond the healing. For that is not the last step of the journey, it is the first step of the next one. You have waited lifetimes to heal and to live your passion, truth and to expand your consciousness. Your longing for something better is your soul telling you that it is possible, once you have completed this last step of the journey called the 'human being' into another one that you will begin as the 'actualized human'.

For many, this is a final lifetime, their last visit to the earth plane. It is a completion of a soul cycle which was begun with the promise that one day it would be over. That time has arrived and it is both exhilarating and frightening, affirming and confusing. We are on the threshold of a new reality for all of humanity and our work is what made it possible. As we close down this cycle we are reminded that each one of us creates the whole, that all are connected and there is the reward of peace, joy and unconditional love on each step of our healing journey.

Are You a Survivor?

I have a friend who is a recovered alcoholic and in every conversation she mentions how long she has been free of her addiction to alcohol. While I share in her joy of having overcome this issue, I wonder when she will stop seeing herself as a survivor and start defining herself in other ways. And if the memory of her addiction is so close to her, has she overcome it or does she live in fear that it will arise again and take control of her life? Is there life beyond surviving and how do we move from surviving into a new and different life path?

Anyone who survives some sort of trauma that affects them on a deep level knows that their life is defined as things that happened before and after the trauma occurred. These are life defining moments and they can become our focus because of their intensity. People who have survived serious accidents, illness or traumatic experiences are forever changed by them. They see themselves as survivors but in doing so they also label themselves in a way that makes the trauma the center of their life and keeps them in the energy of the past. What have they become since the trauma and what else became possible because of it?

We can identify with the survivor role considering what we have experienced in this lifetime, especially as we have been processing so many energy shifts and changes, done so much healing work and cleared lifetimes of karma. This has not been an easy journey and has been traumatic. But our survivor perspective carries an added burden because as survivors, we are acknowledging the toll the battle has taken on us. We are not survivors of the shift or the energy changes, we are willing and necessary participants in a paradigm shift that is changing the world.

For future generations, we will be known as the heroes of these times, those who sacrificed, prayed, stayed constant and overcame our most difficult experiences. They will not see us as survivors because they will not understand how difficult it has been-and to be a survivor you have to live the experience. But they will benefit from the legacy we have created for them. And as we are moving into our mastery, we need to be careful with the energy we are creating with our words. Labeling ourselves as 'survivors' keeps us in the energy of what we have overcome. We are heroes, those who have overcome, who have worked hard and completed what we have set out to do. It is our time to shine, to create new paths for ourselves and new paradigms for humanity. We can survive the past or we can overcome and thrive in the present and create a wonderful future.

Uriel's Message -- Prioritize Your Energy

There are many demands on your energy at this time as you are called to hold energy for yourselves, the planet, for humanity and to shine your light as a healing beacon for others. You came as teachers, healers, energy workers and channels, with work to do, contracts to fulfill and karma and ancient energetic paradigms to heal and complete. You are also the light for your soul groups, creating new paradigms for them to adopt or reject, allowing them to heal or engage with the new energy you create. Knowing how to prioritize your energy so that you are providing the right balance of support and healing is important to you so that you are not draining your own energy to help others on their healing journey.

Your first responsibility is to yourself, to ensure that your energy is available to complete your healing work. Taking care of yourself is an acknowledgement of the importance of your presence and work. The healing work you came to do involves others but many of you have come to disengage from your soul groups and to have closure with them. Many of these choices are energetic in nature and involve how much you will contribute energetically to others' healing. This is a change in the nature of healing, which is now possible because you have learned how to be the light instead of being the healing.

Whose energy needs are more important? That is a choice that you must each make. Some of your lessons with your soul groups involve power issues and they appear to you in the form of need or control situations. You can heal others without giving power to them by holding your own energy at its highest vibrations and allowing them to raise their energy, rather than lowering your energy levels to connect with them at theirs. When this happens you are allowing others to become your priority, instead of yourself.

You cannot hold energy or be focused on your own healing work when you are drained or giving too much to others. Those who need your energy have established this pattern with you over many lifetimes. Each of you is powerful, connected and is here to learn and heal. You can model healing by being energetically in balance with your own needs, raising your vibrations and allowing others to make their own choices. You are each the light of the world and your energy is needed for the purpose you have come to fulfill. Others are healed by finding and connecting to their power and learning to manage their energy. Be the source for them by becoming the new paradigm for healing through reminding them of their power.

Crystals and the New Reality

All Crystals are part of the new reality, the new paradigm for the earth and are holding this energy, waiting for us to catch up. And we have to alter our beliefs about children, families and parenting to do this. Crystal children have a wonderful energy that can be sweet, thoughtful, kind and generous. But like the Indigos they have another aspect to their energy that can be difficult to manage within the traditional aspects of childhood and parenting. Many Crystals are so connected to the spirit world that they have trouble relating to the world and to many people. Some express this as emotional problems, others as physical symptoms such as allergies which can be a physical manifestation of an energetic imbalance.

The new energy that Crystals carry can be too high for them to comfortably interact with most people. Just like the Indigos, they can feel out of place and different. Rather than force others to change, they withdraw into themselves, feeling more comfortable within. Or they will attach to certain people they feel comfortable with, connecting with someone whose energy most closely matches theirs, such as a grandparent. Many Crystal children are being raised by grandparents whose energies are closer to theirs than those of their parents.

What we have to do is provide them with an energetically safe place, which can be their home environment or through the connections they choose. We can do this by honoring the connections that they make and allowing those people to be in their lives. I hear from many troubled grandparents who are separated from their grandchildren by parents who do not understand the importance of these connections. Crystal children will have at least one person in that they connect to and that is not always their parent. These connections are very important and they need them to balance their energies.

Crystal children are teaching us about the new reality and how to adapt to it, which includes an expansion of who is the source of a child's emotional and physical needs. We can place labels on this process and try to keep the old family paradigm intact but in doing so we are going against the flow. Each generation will bring in a new energy that may challenge our beliefs about how things 'should be'. Our children will let us know what they need and we can help them by listening, understanding and remembering that all generations introduce new energies that will challenge the status quo and we can maintain the flow by seeing beyond what we believe is happening and embrace the changes they bring.
