Who Can Say You're Enlightened?
This past week I attended a seminar at which the
leader made statements that were judgmental of
everyone's level of enlightenment or their ability to
attain it in their lifetime. He said that enlightenment
was available only by working with a teacher and that
the teacher bestowed enlightenment when the
student was ready. When he began
criticizing 'psychics who channel or work with
Archangels' (yes, he really said that) it became
personal and I felt like I was on trial. And after voicing
my objections to his comments I left the seminar. But
it gave me food for thought-who says we are
enlightened and when do we know we are?
As we are called to walk our spiritual path many of us
struggle with past life memories of being judged,
ridiculed, condemned and even killed for our beliefs
and teachings. While we are often not consciously
aware of these experiences, they are part of our
cellular memory and are something we must
overcome before we can step into our roles as
teachers and healers. Because enlightenment is part
of this process, we can even struggle with being
enlightened because we know that once we achieve it
the next step is to move into sharing our learning with
others.
We have many teachers on our path and each one
brings us to enlightenment. Every experience we have
participates in the enlightenment process. It is not a
final destination-there is no 'one' form of
enlightenment. Rather, it is something that we achieve
according to our soul contract and level of spiritual
evolution that we can achieve. This is an agreement
between each of us and the Source. No one has the
power to tell us whether we are enlightened or not.
That is being in judgment and anyone who attempts to
do that is not in a state of unconditional love.
We don't have to defend our beliefs or spiritual growth
to anyone. And anyone who challenges that is another
teacher for us. Do we truly connect with our beliefs
and can we support them through our words and
actions? Do we need someone to validate or justify
our enlightenment or can we do that for ourselves?
We know we are enlightened when we feel the peace
and understanding that comes with it. And as we
complete one phase of that process we are prepared
for the next one. But no one has the authority to tell us
we are not there. And if they do it is merely a reflection
on their own level of enlightenment. When we are, we
will know and we will have the peace, joy and
understanding that is the gift of enlightenment.

Is Romance Possible?
Valentine's Day is this week and each year I write an
article for those of us, including me, who are spending
yet another Valentine's Day without a romantic partner.
For many of us the Shift process has removed
romance from our lives and we have been without
partners or even the prospect of a partner for a long
time. I know that there is a purpose for this, to give us
the opportunity to work on ourselves before we bring
someone else into the process. It also gives us the
opportunity to bypass experiencing difficult
relationships while we are working on other things.
But romance is possible and will happen for many of
us this year. It is time and we are ready.
Everyone wants to find their soulmate and many of us
have had these types of relationships. While some
are great, many of them are extremely difficult. A
soulmate provides us with a reflection of our soul and
all of the lessons that we need to learn through
relating to others. Soulmate relationships are very
compelling and when they end, very painful. What
happens in between teaches us a lot about our
needs, wants and beliefs about relationships. It is
time for a new dynamic for us and that is what we
have been waiting for, voluntarily or involuntarily.
The new relationship dynamic is the 'kindred spirit',
someone who is our soulmate but on a different level,
without the karma that soulmates bring to a
relationship. With a kindred spirit we meet our twin
flame on a level that has no drama, chaos or karma.
We connect to a kindred spirit without needs, wants or
expectations. With them we can experience
unconditional love in its truest form, where we can be
who we are and accept them in the same way. We
don't have to heal or change anyone. We can allow the
relationship to be what it is without fear of what
happens if it ends, without wrapping our emotional or
psychological identity into it and truly experiencing it in
the present moment, without connecting to the past.
These are all new concepts for us and we have spent
many years clearing, healing, learning and evolving so
that we could step into this new type of relationship.
Are we ready? Many of us are because we have done
the work. When it is time we will be led to the right
person and it will be wonderful. Will the challenge
then be to accept a relationship that has no drama, to
be with someone who accepts us for who we are and
who loves us unconditionally? Our kindred spirit will
be able to walk our path with us, we won't have to heal
or change them. They will resonate with our energy
and be at the same level spiritually. I think we're all
ready and it's time for us to walk our path with a
partner who reflects the love we have for ourselves
and acknowledges the healing and learning we have

Uriel's Message-- Your Emotional DNA
Your physical DNA determines many of your physical
and physiological characteristics. As you progress
through the shift your DNA is being activated from the
3 strands that currently define humanity to the 12
strands that are available to you as your energetic
vibration is increased. But you also have emotional
DNA that is connected to your physical DNA and the
two affect each other. In order to speed up the
manifestation of the DNA activation your emotional
DNA issues require healing.
Your emotional DNA is the storehouse of your
emotional memories from all of your lifetimes. It also
contains the karma and lessons that you have with
your soul group. It is what directs many of your
thoughts, beliefs and much of your behavior. Your
emotional DNA plays an important part in how you
create your reality. When you are faced with people,
situations or experiences that recall past memories
your emotional DNA is activated as are your karma
and karmic patterns and all behavior associated with
them.
The activation of your physical DNA will trigger issues
associated with the emotional DNA. This triggering
process occurs because the activation of additional
strands of DNA and the increased vibrations you
experience remove support for the emotional DNA and
its patterns. The situations and issues that arise are
indicators to you that activation is occurring and there
is healing to be done. It may seem that the closer you
come to activation the more difficulties you experience,
as in a healing crisis. This is because you can now be
aware of the emotional DNA patterns and are being
shown what needs to be healed, released and
transformed.
Your emotional DNA is what binds you to your soul
group and when it is healed you are able to reconcile
with them for the emotional energy that exists between
you has been transformed. And with this energetic
clearing you are free to choose the range of emotions
you will experience. If your emotional DNA contained
anger, sadness, fear or sorrow, you can choose new
emotions for your reality as you are no longer under
the direction of your emotional DNA's memories. As
you progress through your activation be aware of the
emotions that you are presented with. They are there
for healing and release as part of the DNA activation
process that will bring you to enlightenment, evolution,
peace and unconditional love.

Today's Children--Crystals and Growing Up
Every Crystal I have known, both children and adults, I
would have to describe as an old soul. Their eyes
shine with an ancient wisdom that is part of their
energy. So they tend to act older than their age and
don't have the same maturity or growing up issues as
Indigos do. That said, they have their own issues that
can keep them in a child-like state for much of their
life. If they handle their energy well, it allows them to
view the world with innocence and trust, finding beauty
and magic in everything. If not handled well, the world
overwhelms them and they can easily become
reclusive.
With Crystal energy, the concept of growing up takes
on a different aspect as they do not operate on the
same wavelength as other people. As children or
adults, they are content with being alone, can entertain
themselves, enjoy their own company and like being
quiet or doing quiet activities. Because they are highly
empathic and sensitive, being around others is often
difficult for them so they stay to themselves. They are
not social and doing 'grown up' things, such as
dating, marrying and having a family are steps they
may take a long time to make.
Crystals do not grow up in the conventional way.
Instead, they grow into their energy and feel more
comfortable with themselves. Their version of growing
up corresponds to feeling safe in the world, being
more comfortable around people and developing the
confidence to work with their gifts. So again, as with
Indigos, the conventional definition of growing up
does not apply. Our ability to put labels on people and
behavior creates many issues for those who do not or
who cannot fit the labels. For Indigos and Crystals, the
label of 'growing up' can make them believe
something is wrong with them because they take
longer to become comfortable with their energy and
they also have different rates and levels of maturity.
Someone with Crystal energy will always have a child-
like aspect which is one of their many gifts. Some
would call them immature and that discounts their
wisdom which allows them to see the world in a
different way and hold the energy of unconditional
love. As with Indigos, they will step into the traditional
aspects of a 'grown up' if they feel it is necessary and
when they are ready for them. These new energies
are here to stay and if we are to make life easier for
them, we can start by removing the labels that can be
used to describe them and allow them to simply be
who they are, without trying to categorize them so that
we feel more comfortable.
