Abundance and Power
Abundance is part of the world we live in and we have
examples of it all around us. For example, a tomato
needs to produce only one seed to ensure that
another tomato plant can grow. But each tomato
contains hundreds of seeds. This kind of abundance
exists in our personal reality, where we have an
abundance of many things and the possibility to
create much more. Some of them may be things we
are not very happy with, but they are the abundance we
are creating. To understand how to create an
abundance of what we want and what brings us joy
we have to know how abundance and power are
related.
We often associate abundance with wealth and
the 'good' things in life but abundance is not
judgmental. It is present in everything we have in
quantity, whether that is money or lack of it, love or
loneliness, joy or sorrow, peace or chaos. And it is
when we are at the lowest point in our lives that our
ability to create transformation in the kind abundance
we have been manifesting is at its peak-because we
no longer have the luxury of being powerless. At that
moment we must become powerful and can no longer
be afraid. That is when can turn things around and
then we understand how power and abundance are
related.
We can believe that it is the powerful people in the
world who have learned the art of manifesting
abundance. But they haven't, they just know how to
make a lot of money. The most powerful people are
those who know and accept themselves, have a
strong inner knowing of their Source connection and
know how to use their power in a powerful way. If your
abundance is not satisfactory it's not because you are
not powerful. You are infinitely powerful, you are
simply being powerless about your power. If you
knew, for example, that every thought had energy and
manifested in your life in some way, would you have
the thought you are thinking at this moment?
Our abundance is continuously manifesting-and is
being created every moment of each day of our life. If
we are being powerful, the results are powerful. If we
are being powerless, that is reflected in our
abundance too. We cannot expect the Universe to give
us more than what we are willing to create for
ourselves. It is up to us to use our power in a powerful
way, to step into the flow of joy, peace, prosperity and
unconditional love that are ours for the asking. Believe
in yourself, know that you deserve the very best of
whatever you wish for, use your power in a powerful
way to create the kind of abundance you want to enjoy.
It is yours for the asking.

The Power of Compassion
My mother bought a computer this week and it was a
big step for her. She has avoided moving into the
computer age for many years, mostly because she
was afraid of the technology. I helped her set it up and
taught her the basics of email and the internet. The
next day I got a frantic call because she could not
make anything work and she knew she had received
some emails and had no way of reading them.
Although I tried to explain the process to her she just
didn't understand. So I went to her house again and
repeated the process. And a wonderful transformation
took place and I saw how powerful compassion can
be.
As an Indigo I didn't have a great relationship with my
parents. In fact, some parts of my childhood were
quite difficult and I spent many years being angry with
my parents. As I have allowed myself to become
compassionate, to learn to see them as human
beings, to recognize that they also had fears and
doubts, I have moved past the anger and stepped into
greater understanding and peace. Yes, I was busy
and had other things to do but my willingness to be
compassionate created an opportunity for healing and
transformation that blesses both of us.
When we allow ourselves to have compassion for
others we step out of the emotional interactions we
have with them and move into a different type of
energy. What happened in the past no longer matters--
-we do not have the luxury of living in the past. Our
place is in the present moment. We have a choice to
learn compassion and reclaim the power in our lives
or to live in the past, with the anger and hurt that
resides there and give our power over to it. When we
choose compassion we take back the power we lost
in the past and use it to move forward on our path.
Seeing others with compassion is the most powerful
thing that we can do for ourselves and for them. If we
are to be the Light, to walk in the Light and to spread it
to others, we must first practice it in our own lives. And
the opportunity to do that is often with the people we
least want to do it with, or who we feel do not deserve
it. But compassion is something that we must be
willing to give to everyone. It is our way of recognizing
the divinity in each person and connecting with them
at that point. When we can do that we reclaim our
power and our path is free of the restrictions of the
past and can move forward into a bright, light future.

Uriel's Message-- Release the Need
Everything in your reality serves a purpose. There are
no wasted or unneeded experiences. Each facet of a
lesson holds the promise of learning, healing and
growth. Moving forward on your path comes when you
release the need for those things that keep you in that
place where you feel stuck. This is a place of fear,
doubt and anxiety. It is the place where you feel you
need to learn lessons and until you release the need
for them you will continue to experience the same
situations. You only need to learn a lesson once; it is
your belief that you need to keep repeating it that
keeps it in your life.
You are moving into the space of instant manifestation
and you can create the lessons that serve your
healing and growth in many different ways. The need
for painful lessons is past, lessons can freely flow into
and out of your lives. There is no need for them to stay
other than your belief that you need to hold onto the
experience. When you free yourself from the belief that
lessons should be long and painful you can move into
a dimension where you quickly understand their
purpose and allow the energy to move.
The need for guilt, doubt, fear and suffering has been
transformed by grace. This is the energy that releases
you from karma, allows you to give yourselves the
same level of forgiveness you receive from Creator
and to use your power in ways that honor your
dreams. When you release the need for pain and
suffering in your own life you accept this grace and
move into the place of unconditional love. You choose
the level of suffering that you wish to endure in your
life, you can also release the need for it. No additional
learning or healing is gained through torment.
You are the ultimate power in your reality and whatever
you believe you need to experience in the way of
suffering and pain you create in your life. Release the
need for this and while you will still have lessons you
will also walk in grace and move through them with
compassion and forgiveness for yourself and others.
This is a gift you have earned through lifetimes of
being willing to do the work you came to do and you
are being rewarded for your efforts. Release the need
for pain, suffering, disappointment, fear,
hopelessness and lack. It is within your power to do
so. Then step into the flow of grace and create heaven
on earth for yourselves and the world.

Today's Children--Justifying Indigo Beliefs
I receive many emails from young and older Indigos
asking for help with the problems they are
experiencing and wondering how or when things will
change. And I write back with suggestions and often
receive lengthy responses indicating why change
can't or won't happen. Usually these responses are
along the lines of how others can't accept them, why
their lives are difficult and how they can't see the need
for change. My response is that as long as they are
stuck in the place where they are justifying their beliefs
nothing will change.
With my own Indigo children I noticed that they could
find a way to justify everything they did. And their
justifications were valid-things weren't working in
their life, they did have problems with people and they
were stuck. But as long as they were justifying their
behavior they weren't doing anything to change it and
staying in that energy. Since they don't listen, they had
to learn the hard way, by themselves, trying things that
didn't solve the problem because they were convinced
that they were right and everyone else was wrong.
We can find proof of our beliefs anywhere we choose
to look for them. Since we create our reality, if we
believe that others won't accept us, we will create
situations where we are not accepted. And Indigos
can learn to understand that once they stop justifying
their beliefs and take action to move forward into
creating a more positive, uplifting reality things will
change. Their stubbornness and negative attitude
often prevent them from doing that and it is not until
something happens that forces them to face these
issues. Then they are ready for help and advice.
It is hard to watch our children and friends suffer but
until they are ready to acknowledge that the change
has to occur in them first, helping them is not an
option that they will readily allow. Naturally pessimistic
and doubtful, they are willing to try anything but what
someone else tells them. Once they do acknowledge
that they need to do these things, however, their lives
can turn around almost immediately. So there is hope.
All we can do is be supportive, keep the lines of
communication open and let them stumble along until
they find the light on their own.
