Abundance and the Illusion
Abundance is present in every aspect of our lives and
has nothing to do with having money or things.
Wherever we believe abundance exists in our life we
attract more of it with every thought, word and action.
Our state of abundance, or the kind of abundance we
have in our life, depends on our perceptions about our
power and abilities. What we see as abundance, or
lack of it, depends on our perspective on the illusion.
Once we begin to integrate our spiritual and material
selves, something happens to the way we look at our
life. Things that once bothered us no longer do so. We
begin to understand how things flow, experience how
we can shift our energy and create something new.
Our understanding between how things look and how
they really are changes. And we begin to see that
there is a material illusion and a spiritual reality and
the kind of abundance we have depends on which
side we view our own reality from.
It is the nature of the material world to focus on fear,
unhappiness, and lack. It is the nature of the spiritual
world to believe in unconditional love, joy, peace and
abundance in all things that reflect our perfection.
From the material perspective, life is difficult, we must
work hard and joy and love are reserved for a lucky
few. But from the spiritual perspective, each one of us
has limitless power to meet our every need and we
are co-creators with the Universe. Abundance is
always present-and how it manifests in our life
depends on whether our view is of the illusion-where
we have fear-or from the spiritual reality, where every
aspect of our reality is filled with unconditional love
and our needs are always met in wonderful ways.
The material world and everything in it is an illusion;
the spiritual world is the 'real' reality and when we
learn to blend the two together we will live in a reality
that is both material and spiritual, where we have the
physical manifestation of our power in ways that bring
us joy. It may seem difficult to start on this path,
especially when our current state of abundance is one
of lack. It's hard to be brave when we have five dollars
in our bank account. As with everything, it is our choice
as to whether we manifest abundance from the
material illusion or the spiritual reality.

Paying it Forward
During many readings with clients the subject of the
effect of old patterns and habits comes up, especially
during karmic readings. When those issues are
viewed in detail the client begins to see how many
aspects of what they think of themselves, how they act
and what they believe is possible for them comes
from something that was passed on to them. Whether
it is a belief, memories of conversations or things that
they witnessed happening around them, much of what
they hold to be true was actually passed on to them by
others. With that realization, a transformation can
begin.
So much of what we believe is true about ourselves
and the world comes from what we have heard from
others. For example, when I was very young my
grandmother told me that if I went to bed wearing a
necklace around my neck, it would strangle me and I
would never wake up. I think I was 3 years old when
this happened, so it was quite a few years ago. To this
day, I never sleep with jewelry on, especially around
my neck. And I know people who do that and wonder
how they can take such a risk.
Although I am sure that my grandmother told me that
only because she didn't want me to go to bed wearing
a necklace, it is something that has stayed with me
my entire life. While that story may be funny to some, it
is a reminder of the power of the messages that are
passed on to us. And how we accept them as true and
then build our lives around them. Not all of what is
passed on is as simple as not wearing jewelry to bed.
Sometimes the messages are much more damaging,
such as believing that we are not good enough, can't
succeed, were not wanted or have no value.
Anything that was passed on to us we will believe as
true until we are ready to examine it in detail and
decide whether or not we want to continue to believe it.
Once we do, it loses its power and its hold over us.
This week, examine what was passed on to you. Is it
still true? Do you still want to believe it? Is it
something whose meaning can change once you
allow yourself to examine it and decide whether you
want to give it power over you life? Amazing things can
happen once we release old habits and beliefs and
we can move forward in our life to create joy, peace,
abundance and unconditional love.

Uriel's Message-- The Future is Not Yet Written
There are many reasons for you to focus on being
totally in the present moment. One of the reasons is
that this is where you are in the flow of the Universal
energy, where you create your reality as you want it to
be. The other is because this is where your future is,
in the present moment. The future is never written for
you, it is not pre-determined. It exists because of what
you do in the present moment, not because of what
you do or what may happen later.
When your focus is on the future, or what will happen
at some point beyond this moment, you are setting the
belief that the future will somehow be better than the
present. So when you focus on success and think that
it lies at some point beyond this moment, you are
actually projecting your current status into the future.
The future is created from the present and it can never
be more than what exists in the present.
The intention, energy, focus and commitment to
yourself and to creating what you want and what best
serves your dreams in the present moment will
determine what happens in the future. It is your
willingness to be powerful now that creates a powerful
future. Accepting yourself as limited in any way creates
that in the future, unless you are willing to change your
beliefs about what you are in the present moment.
Think of your life as a continuous flow, where each
part is connected to the previous one. The next step
on your journey can only be as powerful as the one
that precedes it. Your future is never pre-determined,
no
power on earth or in heaven can create that for you.
Every aspect of the Universal energy responds to you.
The future is now, it exists in the present. Be powerful
in the moment and you will create a powerful future,
where your heart's desire is fulfilled in every way.

Today's Children--How Do Adult Crystals Think?
Just as Adult Indigos fall into two distinct ways of
thinking, upbeat and hopeful or angry and cynical,
Adult Crystals also have two ways of thinking. Some
are focused on their gifts and comfortable with them.
They see the need for what they have to offer the world
and are taking steps to fulfill their purpose. Others are
aware of their gifts but can be overwhelmed by them
and seek refuge from the world. Their strong empathic
gifts make it difficult for them to focus and function.
Many know what they should be doing but they are
unable to do anything. They are confused, scared and
sad and feel very out of place.
Adult Crystals, like the current Crystal generation,
brought with them an energy that the world was not
quite ready for. Their quiet, gentle nature did not
respond well to the harsh realities of a world that was
too material, too separated. Their energy does not
shout to be heard-if no one is listening they just wait
until the time is right. For many Adult Crystals, this
meant that they retreated until they felt safe and
sometimes this became how they lived their life.
I have worked with many Adult Crystals who have
been diagnosed with mild to moderate mental
disorders. I believe the real problem is that they have
not been heard or acknowledge for so long that this
creates an energetic imbalance which others see as
a mental imbalance. Just as Crystal children retreat
into autism, Adult Crystals retreat into a place where
they feel safe and that often means a place where they
can shut others out and feel safe. That is not true of all
of them but it is true of many.
There are Adult Crystals who have learned to function
in the world and despite their discomfort they are able
to move forward. They are still quiet and may have
trouble managing their gifts but they take the steps
they can to overcome their hesitation. One thing I can
suggest is that they find or create networking groups
so they can be around like-minded people and find a
space where they feel comfortable. From there, they
can branch out into larger networks until they find that
place where they can use their gifts. So much energy
is shifting right now and so many changes are
occurring that the world needs the connection,
balance and vision of the Adult Crystals, which are
part of their special gift to the Shift in Consciousness.
